Burton Bliss - Lake Burton Hot Tub, Firepit & Fantastic Boathouse

              

Guests please note:  Rental is for the PRIVATE Terrace Level and Boathouse located directly across the road from the home. If you would like to inquire about the upper part of the home in conjunction with the terrace level for family reunions or special events, contact amandae@renthelen.com

***Off limits: Items that are off limits to renters are the jet ski and  all property stored within the interior portion of the boathouse on the ground level (the owner’s pontoon boat).  

Boats: Renters who bring their own boat can use the Murray Cove boat ramp .2 miles away from the boat house and can use our dock to secure their boat.  Alternatively, boats can be rented from LaPrades or Anchorage marina on Lake Burton.  

Boat docking: Any boat provided by renters can be tied up to the right dock (as you look at the boathouse from the street).  The water becomes extremely shallow around the boathouse, and the left dock can only be used for non-motorized boats.  

Boat House Rules
The boat stored inside the boat house: Not Available for use
• The gradual step down into the water is perfect for small children and toddlers,
• Adult Supervision required for guests under the age of 18
• Life jackets of varying sizes are stored in the storage bench under the boat house stairs and encouraged to be worn at all times when in the water
• Paddle boards and kayaks should be stored on the boat rack in the yARD ALONGSIDE THE PADDLES
• 10pm Noise Ordinance, find your way back from the boathouse and enjoy the inside of your lovely rental home. 
• For outdoor activities at the home, please keep voice levels and music down while enjoying the outdoors.

• This property is not pet-friendly. No exceptions,
• 25+ age requirement for lead guest. No exceptions.ptions.
• Digital rental agreement will be required to sign and complete after property is booked.
• Firewood not supplied. Firewood not allowed in the gas fireplace.
• Georgia fishing license required for fishing on the property. Licenses can be purchased online for as low as $5/day.
• Boat not supplied. Rentals available at LaPrade's Marina.
  
Private errace level of home has access to backyard pavilion with Hot Tub, Grill and Grilling Table. Cozy area with 2 chairs, sofa & coffee table and fun for the whole family with TV, Cornhole set (beanbag toss game) and hook & ring game.  

Walk across the road to the 2 story boathouse. On the way, pass by the outdoor firepit with 4 adirondack chairs. Enjoy  the boathouse with lounge chairs on the open side of the upper level, beautiful views and comfy sofas in the covered area of the upper level  Ping pong table to enjoy along with a refrigerator for cold beverages and lunch!

Nestled close to the lake on quiet Murray Cove of Lake Burton where children can swim, kayak or paddleboard with little boat traffic or noise!  A new 2-story boat house with covered pavilion offers covered boat docking. 

When you're not enjoying the lake or for a change of pace, a quick 20-minute drive takes you to the charming town of Clayton, where you'll find a variety of restaurants and shops to explore. Within a 15-mile radius there is world class hiking, golfing, white water rafting & zip lines including Tallulah Gorge State Park, Hurricane Falls, and Black Rock Mountain State Park. March 1, 2025             - Lake starts up gradually from 2.5 feet down (1862.5 elevation)
May 1, 2025                - Lake is back to Normal summer pool (1865.0 elevation)
