We stayed April 7-10 and came up to hang out in Duluth and run up to see some waterfalls. Brand new, squeaky clean, this unit was a treat in all respects. We stayed in 715-3, the top (3rd) floor unit in the middle building and arguably the best relatively unobstructed view (by power lines and a power pole to the left). We could see the lift bridge immediately out our window to the left, the channel, the lake, the ore boats coming and going, the surfers, not to mention spectacular sunrises. The condo had everything you needed plus comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, blankets and throws, good water pressure and designated parking for guests. We are grateful that Heirloom has properties that welcome dogs because we travel with our big dog. We shared it with all of our friends and would definitely stay here again. That being said, the description does remind you that there is no elevator. We were on the 3rd floor, up 6 long flights of stairs (10 steps each). So dashing out for a quick doggie tinkle is not a thing unless you are on the first floor. Also schlepping luggage, coolers, the general contents of your car is a workout. Just so you know. There are plenty of places to walk and access to the lake for everyone and we noticed that people were really good about picking up after their pet. A person can walk over the bridge and into Canal Park it's that close.Loved it. 10/10 would stay again.
