The Orange House - clean and comfortable

"The Orange house" was built in 1915. It is walking distance to many bars, restaurants, the beach, and the pleasure pier. We have four bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is a front balcony where you can enjoy a coffee in the morning and listen to Texas' songbirds play a tune for you. The backyard allows for a large group to enjoy a meal and take a break from the sun. Inside we have a full kitchen, reliable wifi, workspaces, and a dining and living room.
The space
Upstairs, our two king rooms boast a dedicated workspace for those working from "home." across the hall we have our queen room and bunk room bringing the total bed count to seven comfortably sleeping ten. We recently (fall 2024) completely renovated our upstairs bathroom. These old homes present some unique design challenges with small spaces, but we really think this improvement makes the space more comfortable and useable.

Downstairs, our entryway includes a welcome table with a pamphlet on any information you will need for the house and some great recommendations on where to go and what to do in Galveston. Of course, we are always available to help out via text or call during your stay if you need any other guidance. Next to the entryway is a comfortable living room with board games and a tv with access to your favorite streaming services. A full kitchen is available for you to cook. The kitchen includes pots, pans, cookie sheets, cutting boards, a knife set, utensils, cups, wine glasses and more. The dining room next to the kitchen can seat ten with the use of the green chairs in the living room.

Walking into the backyard, you will be greeted first by a nice shaded screened-in porch complete with a ceiling fan. This is also where we have a laundry room with detergent and dryer sheets for you to use freely. A drying rack has been set up for your bathing suits and towels after your trip to the beach! Outside we have another large countertop height table with 10 spots to enjoy a drink, meal, or just great company in the fresh air.
