Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal auf der High Bank Ranch ankommen, werden Sie sofort erkennen, warum wir das Ziel für Familienfeiern und Spaß am Guadalupe-Fluss sind. Der Komplex mit 2 Häusern ist so angelegt, dass Aktivitäten im Freien erfasst werden und 22 Personen in bequemen Betten schlafen können. Sie können Ihren Tag mit einem Kaffee am Pool beginnen, der vom Rauschen der Wasserfälle und einer kühlen Brise unterstrichen wird. Wenn die Kinder in Schwung kommen, haben wir die beste Baumschaukel am Lake McQueeney, Volleyball / Badminton, Hofspiele, Kajaks und Billard. Der Tag wird nur in der erstklassigen Außenküche besser, die im Jahr 2016 gebaut wurde (Gasgrill, Gasofen / Herd, Spüle in der Cocktailbar, Eismaschine und Kühlschrank), dem Aroma des Pizzaofens und dem 70 Zoll. TV im Außenwohnraum. Viel Platz für unsere Gäste, große Auffahrt und Privatsphäre in Hülle und Fülle auf 63 Hektar. Ein zusätzlicher Bonus ist ein vollständiger Anschluss für Wohnmobile und Scheunen / Weiden, wenn Sie Ihre Pferde mitbringen, reiten, wandern und Fahrrad fahren möchten.

Unser Grundstück befindet sich am Guadalupe River (Lake McQueeney Abschnitt). Der Fluss hier ist tief genug, um ein Boot unterzubringen, aber gleichzeitig nicht in dem belebten Abschnitt des Flusses, so dass Wasserposen zur Verfügung stehen und wir 2 Kajaks haben. Bringen Sie Ihre Angelruten für Catfish und Bass. Der Komplex mit 2 Häusern umfasst 8 Schlafzimmer (5 im Haupthaus und 3 im Poolhaus), 5 Badezimmer (3 im Haupthaus und 2 im Poolhaus), 1 Außendusche, 2 Whirlpools (1 im Haupthaus und 1 am Pool). , alle Bettwäsche / Handtücher und Kochgeschirr für Ihren Aufenthalt benötigt, Wi-Fi in beiden Gebäuden und Außenküche, 2 Waschküchen.

Fabulous large family gathering place

This property exceeded everyone’s expectations. It was perfect for our large group to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house was very well stocked and had plenty of refrigerator space to handle a big group. The outdoor cooking /entertainment pavilion was where we spent a large majority of time. TV,games, full kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating made this a go to spot The pool and hot tub completed the feel of the outdoor oasis. Everyone wanted to rebook for next year !! The owner communication was timely, thorough,and welcoming on of our best Vrbo experiences ever.

Our favorite Lakehouse to stay at!

We had a wonderful stay as always! This was our third time booking Susanne's beautiful Lakehouse property. Susanne is the best host. She is so nice, communicative, and helpful via the Vbro message system or through text. The house is gorgeous! We love taking out the kayaks on the river. You feel like you are at a resort with the beautiful pool & hot tub. The outdoor kitchen area is the best, it's so nice to make dinner out there on an evening with perfect weather. We love the house because we like to cook and the house has everything you could ever need to make a delicious dinner! The house is decorated nicely, so you feel like you are at home. I could go on and on, it's just the best Lakehouse getaway! Thank you Susanne!

21 Thumbs Up!! The Perfect Getaway!! Book It!!

We had a Navy Retirement party with friends and family. Beautiful home with an area for everyone in our large group! Some hung out in the pool/jacuzzi, some in the patio area watching football on a 70" outdoor TV. Lots of ping pong tournaments! We also played cards and Giant Jenga at a patio table with seating for 16!! The outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling and there was covered seating w/firepits and places to just sit and chat. Not to mention those that swam and fished in the lake! The home had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms and was incredibly well-stocked with spices, foil, everything!! No flies or mosquitos either!! We will be back again!!!!

Just as fun our 2nd time back

This is a great sprawling property where there's too much to do in one weekend. It was my 2nd time back and it was just as good as I remembered. Would highly recommend. I gave the "Accuracy of Online Listing" rating 2 stars because it says "6 minute walk to Bandit Golf Course." This is true but misleading. If you want to play Bandit, it is a 17 minute drive unless you bring your own Guadalupe River ferry.

Perfect place for family vacation!

Our family of 18, ranging in age from 9 to 73 had a great time. We were well entertained with the pool, river and games. The kitchens (both indoor and outdoor) were equipped with everything you could possibly need. The sleeping accommodations worked out perfectly for our family. Susanne was the perfect host. Her communication before, during and after our stay was excellent. We certainly made some wonderful memories at this property. Everyone agreed this house was the perfect choice for our family vacation.

Beautiful place to stay

Our family LOVED this place. We had all ages stay, young teens, young adults, mid-age adults, and seniors and we all loved it. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was perfect and she answered every question we had. A minor maintenance issue popped up that she needed to have taken care of, she let us know there would be repairmen on site and that they would not need to be inside. They came, did what they needed to do and left quietly. I appreciated the heads up, and they did not interfere with our stay at all! The beds were comfortable and every room was just as she had described. We will definitely stay here again

Summer at High Bank Ranch

Property is as advertised, clean, well stocked kitchens, beautiful pool and hot tub, on a tributary of Lake McQueeney and you can paddle board on the lake. It's located on several acres with lots of privacy. Has a great outdoor kitchen by pool for cooking out. Recommend this for any large family gathering.

Heaven on Earth

This place was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING was to notch including the property owners. They made our stay better than a vacation. All the instructions were so detailed that we were even able to operate the wood fired pizza oven and enjoy some amazing pizza. None of us had ever used a wood fired pizza oven. The outdoor entertaining area was better than being at a 5 star resort. I hosted my daughter's baby shower during our stay and several of the guest were talking about making reservations for the property for different events. I cannot say enough about this amazing property. From the instance you drive into the front gate, all the way down the driveway, up to the amazing house and facilities.......TOP NOTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Susamme and High Bank Ranch have become a yearly retreat for friends and family. We view this property as a regular vacation home everyone looks forward to visiting yearly. Fantastic property for Family Reunion

We researched a lot of properties for our first Family Reunion before we chose High Bank Ranch. This property did not dissapoint and the layout was perfect for our group. A BIG plus was the location on the river. Kayak's, floats and live jackets were provided and if you didn't want to get in the river there is a beautiful pool and spa to enjoy. The outdoor kitchen/living area is amazing and we found ourselves spending a lot of time outdoors. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and we took advantage of the grill and the oven that was available. Big hits were also the ping pong table and air hockey along with badmitten and corn hole. We also enoyed the outdoor TV. Aside from all of that, the house is immaculate and everything was well thought out from all of the supplies provided down to small details such as bathtub toys and soap for the kids. The pool house is amazing and is definitely a plus. It provides three additional sleeping areas, another kitchen and a fantastic downstairs bathroom and outdoor shower. The main house is gorgeous with plenty of sleeping room for everyone and provides amazing living spaces. The decor is beautiful and you will feel pampered after staying at this property. Susanne was amazing and easy to communicate with. We had very few questions but when we did she was quick to respond. We will consider booking this property again for future events and thought it was almost too nice to be a rental!

Incredible Lakehouse!

This was our group's second time staying at this beautiful lakehouse because we loved it so much! We do an annual family and friends lakehouse trip and returned to this house because we love it so much! There are so many amenities, we love the lake access, and the owner is the nicest and most accommodating renter there is! The house is so beautiful and we love that it has a pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen. The house is always so nice, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Amazing property- they thought of EVERYTHING!

Have stayed here twice now. Once with family and kids and once with adults. This is officially our happy place- we wanted to move in and never leave! Every inch of the space is beautifully manicured and feels like paradise. There is no shortage of amenities from games to huge cooling fans, medial hookups and more to keep the fun rolling on. The sleeping quarters go above and beyond for comfort and privacy. We can’t wait to keep coming back.

Great weekend

Property is spacious and clean, has everything anyone could want and is close enough to things in town that it is easy to go and get any groceries or go to restaurants if desired. Lots of room to spread out

MUST STAY riverfront in New Braunfels!

This was one of the best stays we have had with our big family. Everything was incredibly clean and they were stocked with everything you could ever need for cooking, playing yards games, board games, chillin in the pool, or hanging out down in the river. The outdoor kitchen area is truly remarkable, that alone is worth it! The pool is perfect and was such a great way to relax in the evenings! You are right on the river with private access with a few steps down but totally worth it. They have kayaks and paddle boards and tubes and a nice, little beach to relax on. The location is perfect as well. You are REALLY close to NB yet not stuck so far in town that you deal with the summer traffic rush all of the time. It was an easy 15 minute drive to Schlitterbahn, Gruene, the Comal and only about 5 minutes to hop on 35 to take a little trip to Austin or San Antonio. We have already booked for next year :)

My family has been visiting the Hill Country our whole lives even while living and raising our children in the Houston area. After the kids graduated from high school we wanted to retire in a small town setting that still offered some big city activities close by. Most importantly water and outdoor excursions.

We were always drawn to New Braunfels. The people here are honest and friendly. There is always something to do and the climate of the area allows for year around outdoor activities. When the opportunity arose for us to own land in such a beautiful setting we were thrilled. We have put a lot of work and sweat into building our dream ranch.

Lake McQueeney is a hidden gem. You can drive into town and float the Guadalupe River in many locations but our section of the river is peaceful and serene. We love being able to put the Kayaks in the water for a leisure ride upstream or just tying a tube to the dock for lazy floating is my happy place.
