Our superb 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury air-conditioned apartment with FREE WIFI and full UK TV package including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and TNT Sports etc is situated on the sea front just 50 metres from the beach in the family resort of Benalmadena Costa. Torreon del Mar Apartments are only 14 Kilometres or 15 minutes by taxi from Malaga Airport therefore car hire is not necessary. The sandy beach of Torrequebrada is just across the road from the Torreon del Mar Apartments, with several shops and restaurants very near by including a large Supercor supermarket with fresh fish, butchery, bakery and vegetable counters plus numerous English food items available. In addition there is a large Pharmacy with English speaking assistants just a few steps away from the apartment. There is a bus stop just 40 metres from the apartments with very regular services West to Fuengirola and Marbella and East to Torremolinos & Malaga.
The facilities at Torreon del Mar Apartments in Benalmadena Costa include a large Swimming Pool, with extensive sun terrace and free sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs, table tennis, children's playground, basket ball area plus changing area with toilets and showers. Directly in front of the Torreon del Mar apartments there is a typical Spanish Tapas 'La Ruta del Iberico' bar restaurant serving a wonderful selection of serrano hams, chorizo sausage and a wide variety of Spanish cheeses with numerous beers and wines available. Next door you will find a high standard Spanish Italian restaurant 'Amici' serving Pasta, Steak and Pizza. Amigos Grill has the same owners and offers a fantastic choice of both Mexican and Indian food. The pleasant 'El Caprico de Torrequebrada' restaurant with its large terrace and serving a wide range of reasonably priced Spanish Tapas, fish and meat dishes is located on the corner of Torreon del Mar next to the Pharmacy. For those who just want a coffee, beer, English breakfast or toasted sandwich the El Caprico should hit the spot.

Der Aufenthalt hat uns gut gefallen. Kommunikation war auch sehr gut. Eine saubere Wohnung in Meernähe. Schade, dass es nicht erwähnt war das der Pool ab Oktober nicht geöffnet war, da waren unsere Kids etwas enttäuscht. Sonst war alles gut.

Wieder in Torrequebrada

Wir hatten erneut einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der geräumigen (2 Bäder, zwei Schlafzimmer) Ferienwohnung; für das einzige "Manko" war die langanhaltende Dürre verantwortlich - die spanische Regierung verbot zeitweilig die Benutzung von Pools. An unserem letzten Tag wurde dann alles vorbereitet, um den Pool wieder zu eröffnen. Pech.. Das Meer ist aber ganz in der Nähe (200m..) , manchmal etwas kühl, dafür ist auch das schöne Malaga mit Museen in der Nähe. Ein Besuch ist auch das "alte" Torrequebrada Pueblo wert, man kann dort schön essen und von oben auf das Meer schauen. Hast luego, Torrequebrada

Erwartungen übertroffen

Sehr schneller und unkomplizierter Kontakt. Gastgeber hat schon im Vorfeld alle notwendigen Informationen zur Verfügung gestellt und eine tolle Unterstützung zum Check-In gegeben (Anreise usw). Schöne und geräumige Ferienwohnung in perfekter Lage in Torrequebrada

Wir hatten in dieser Ferienwohnung einen sehr schönen Urlaub: die Wohnung ist geräumig, mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern, (+geräumigen Kleiderschränken !) Die Küche mit Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine gut ausgestattet. Es gibt ein grosses Wohnzimmer, davor ein grosser Balkon mit u.a. einem Wäschetrockner. Die Wohnung liegt zum Innenhof einer grösseren Wohnanlage hin, ist daher schön ruhig - ohne Strassenlärm, direkt vor der Wohnung ein geräumiger Pool zum Baden vor dem Frühstück. Die ganze Anlage ist gepflegt und sehr sauber. Zum Meeresstrand geht man einfach aus dem Haus, (ca 150 m) über die Strasse und kann sich dann einen Strandabschnitt aussuchen. Direkt neben der Anlage liegt ein sehr schöner Supermarkt (SuperCor) mit z.B. sehr reichlicher Fisch-, Obst- und Gemüseauswahl. Vor der Wohnanlage zur Strasse hin liegen mehrere kleinere Restaurants und Cafes, für ein schnelles Abendessen ;-)) Zur Wohnung gehört ein Parkplatz in der hauseigenen Tiefgarage, so dass man zu keiner Zeit Probleme mit einem Parkplatz hat. Nach Malaga braucht man mit dem Auto 20 min, dort gibt es ein grosses kulturelles Angebot.. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dieser Ferienwohnung ! Chapeau..

Beautiful large apartment close to the sea

We’ve just come back from a 7 day break to Benalmadena staying at this lovely apartment. We found that it had everything that we needed to enjoy our holiday, a full kitchen, large lounge area with comfortable leather sofas, 2 bedrooms with good quality mattresses, 2 bathrooms with plenty of water pressure to have a nice shower (or bath) - it has an underground secure parking area which was ideal for us to park our hire car. The only downside to us was the fact that the swimming pool was closed as it was off season but the sea was only a 5 minute walk away for a swim. Keith and Penny were easy to contact and came across as very friendly and helpful. I have a feeling that we’ll hopefully be staying here again!

Two days after we arrived the gates to the swimming pool were locked so we did not have a pool as advertised. Too many locked doors throughout the complex meant no air flow and therefore unbearably hot all the time.

The property is lovely both in decor and amenities ,the pool area kept clean and the whole apartments are in good order. I will definitely be booking again . The marina is 40 mins walk but the walk is enjoyable . Taxi price is only 9 euros . Buses are frequent . We enjoyed our stay very much very relaxing .

Beautiful apartment with pool

The property is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for your stay. The pool is lovely and never too busy, there are plenty of beds with shades. Aldo (the pool guy) is out cleaning and maintaining the pool and the grounds every morning. It’s a bit out of the way so expect to walk if you don’t have a car. There are a couple of restaurants a few minutes walk from the apartment, our favourite was Amigos. There is also a great seafood restaurant called Lá Cala which is across the road and a steakhouse called Angus. The beach at the bottom of the hill is ok but a short walk down the hill is a better beach (next to the Sunset Beach Hotel) there’s water sports, toilets and a small beach bar with cold drinks and snacks.. if you fancy a walk you can walk along the beach road where you’ll find a host of bars and restaurants but be aware it’s about a 20 minute walk, the marina is about a 30 minute walk. We had a great time and would recommend, Keith was brilliant and communication was excellent.

Gem of a place !

Fantastic apartment, fabulous host , communication first class . The apartment is set in a lovely location with lots of facilities nearby . The Spanish tapas bar is extremely welcoming and highly recommended for their fine wine and incredible food. The apartments are extremely secure, the building is kept very clean and this is a lovely location. Bus stops to take you to torreminlos and Fuengirola just 2 mins away . You will not be disappointed and I hope to return very soon. Thanks to Keith and family for sharing this wonderful apartment 😊

Dreadful host of a nice apartment

We arrived at the property to find it had not been cleaned and the last guests bedding and towels were piled in the hallway. No beds made and no cleaning had been done. Contacted the housekeeping contact who was very polite but said had no idea we were coming. They were away and could not arrive until the next day at lunchtime. The property owner was notified of the situation and quite frankly I have been left astounded as to his reaction. Not much of an apology, no sign of any recompense for the dreadful start to our holiday and now he is not answering my emails. Appalling host and would not recommend this property for this reason alone. The apartment itself is nice although not very welcoming. The situation is good with lovely restaurants at the bottom of the hill. Pool looks nice but was out of action for our stay and we were not made aware of this. All in all as a person who has rented many many holiday homes I would not use this one ever again. If you reply to my email Keith then your keys will be returned.

Enjoyable Christmas/New Years Stay

The apartment is bright and sunny and has all the amenities we required. The location is close to many restaurants within a 15 minute walk; as well as a major grocery store within a 5 minute walk. Great access to local public bus transportation as the stops are about a 7 minute walk. As we are older it will take a shorter time for youthful people. Access to the beach on the Med is again about 5-7 minutes. Totally enjoyable stay. The owners were quick to respond to our inquiries.
