Spring break getaway to see my son

We love the location and views

We stay at Emerald Isle condominium every time we come to Pensacola for vacation. It’s right on the beach and the views from every condo faces the beach and ocean. I can’t say enough about the views! It’s magnificent!! And it’s walking distance to everything. We love this place.

Nice Place

The condo was as advertised. We didnt have issues with the codes as other people have in the past. My only comment would be about the beach chairs. They are $50/day to rent on the beach. Some condos include this but this one does not. Would of been nice to have some beach chairs/umbrella in the closet to use for those of us who fly. We bought some and left a few there so hopefully the next family can use them.

Loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and as described. I saw some reviews that complained about the door key. We had one problem when we first got there and our code did not work to get in but I called the number on the email and within 2 minutes it was fixed. They were very nice and easy to deal with. We would definitely stay here again!

Spring Training

406 was very nice. Beds were comfortable which is a huge plus. Plenty of dishes/pots/pans. Unit was very clean. Limited toilet paper provided for a weeks stay. Problems with the door code access but staff was available to help within a short period of time. Would recommend to a friend and would stay again.

Condo great; property passcode entry system is terrible

We stayed in mid-September; we had mild weather, lots of shells to collect, and beach service was still available. The condo itself was great -- appeared as presented in this listing. Liked that there was a gas station/convenience store adjacent to the property, as well as some restaurants within walking distance (we ran out of time to try any of these but did go to some in the area). All of the ladies I spoke with from the property management company with this listing were nothing but helpful, apologetic, and gracious. Unfortunately, the passcode entry system at Emerald Isle was RIDICULOUS! It nearly ruined our vacation due to total frustration and is the reason I would never recommend the Emerald Isle to anyone! We had to call nearly every single day for a new code (sometimes multiple times). Often we were at the discretion of a stranger at the condo to let us in (if we didn't have a phone with us to call) and at least once, a guy shook his head no that he wouldn't let my husband in. At one point, we had a code to get into the 1. parking lot (my husband was stuck in the rain with beer and ice at the pedestrian gate while he waited for me to call but he walked in behind a car before I could resolve it) and front door, 2. a code to the pool/beach door, 3. a code from a fellow guest because the first two didn't work, and 4. a code to our condo door (again, the latter of which was by this rental company, not Emerald Isle, and worked correctly the whole time). Too many numbers!

Great Condo- Horrible code situation

Condo is beautiful, just as described in listing. I've stayed in this building many times and this unit was my favorite. I have one complaint, the code situation is ridiculous. We were able to get into the condo after requesting a second code. Which was fine. But as for the building entrance, pool etc. I rate you a zero for ability to navigate your property. My mother felt uncomfortable going anywhere alone because after the third code nothing would work. I relied on others to get us in the building the whole stay. Absolutely unacceptable. I've never had an issue with the codes at this property until this stay. Unfortunately, I will probably choose a different location next time.

Spectacular views.

We had an amazing time celebrating our birthdays. The place was exceptionally clean. And we enjoyed it once we were able to get in. The wrong code was given to us to enter the condo. And it took some time to hear back as to how to get in…apparently this is a common problem there with codes based on a information from a resident. The condo has everything you needed to make your stay hassle free. Great views of the ocean and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

Not what we thought

We considered this overpriced for what we viewed online/overpaid. Upon immediately pulling in the parking area, we encountered fire trucks amassing to address a fire on the fourth floor. The cleanliness lacked and it was evident the room was recently used. Fee was for a king size bed; however, it was a Queen, and the sheets were for a twin / didn’t fit the bed…pillows were inadequate. I suppose we paid for the scenery; they did comp us with a $50.00 VISA Card for the sheets. We will be looking at other places.

Great place but the noise was ridiculous

Renovations on an above condo were being done for 4 of our 6 days. The jackhammering was so bad my husband called the cops and filed a complaint. It started at around 8 am and ended around 4pm. Everyone could hear it at the pool also. It was ridiculous!

Awesome Condo with Excellent Views!

We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. Our only complaint is that we were given incorrect gate codes and door codes, so it was a bit difficult to get in our first day. One of our favorite parts is that this condo is within walking distance to almost every restaurant on Pensacola Beach.

Great condo w/ amazing view

First time on Pensacola Beach and picked Emerald Isle so we could be on beach. We had great views of the ocean at all times. The condo was comfortable and clean. I didn't realize emails from Pensacola Beach Properties were going to my promo tabs, but once I figured that out, all was good. I hope I can come back and stay in same unit.

Pensacola Beach is great!

Very nice condo. The refrigerator ice and water dispensing mechanism may have a short in it. Also, the thermostat was difficult to set. But the unit was very comfortable. We enjoyed the condo, location and decorations. It felt very welcoming. The property manager was helpful in getting us parking passes and the key to the Fitness Center.

Nicely furnished, very comfortable accommodations. On-site management keeps the common areas in top shape. Great location for walking on the beach or relaxing on the balcony watching the waves roll in.

Emerald Isle

We visit Pensacola Beach several times a year and always stay in Emerald Isle. This was our first venture into a different condo (ours was booked) and with Pensacola Beach Property Management. The door code was incorrect on check in and we had to stand in the cold and wind with groceries and ice cream for about 30 minutes while we were told the exact same code several different times “should work” but didn’t. Finally they gave us a different code and we were able to get into the condo. The condo was beautiful and exactly as described! One of the arm chairs for seating was missing though (as seen in the pictures). And when we went to use the dryer, it would not work. The supervisor was very apologetic and after awhile she offered the use of another condo to dry our already washed and wet clothes. They sent out a repair person who determined we would not have the use of the dryer for our entire stay. They allowed us one more evening of using the other dryer 8 floors above us, which was necessary because we travel with kids and expect to wash things daily. Also, this condo did not provide beach towels and we had to wash our own towels each time as well. The management company offered a Visa Gift Card as compensation for the inconvenience of dragging wet clothes up and down 8 floors and not having a working dryer in our unit. The unit itself was clean and very pretty and even with the issues we experienced it was a beautiful trip. Pensacola Beach Properties was attentive and did the best they could with a hard situation. We will be back!
