Die großen Fenster in diesem sauberen, kürzlich erbauten Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern bieten einen nahen und fernen Blick durch die schönen Mischwälder aus Kiefern, Tannen und Ahorn, die Ruhe und Privatsphäre bieten. Entspannen Sie in den bequemen Möbeln auf dem Rasen - wählen Sie Sonne oder Schatten. Wählen Sie eine Handvoll einheimischer wilder Blaubeeren aus Ihrem eigenen Blaubeerfeld!

Es gibt 2 fröhliche Schlafzimmer, eines mit Queensize-Bett, eines mit Doppelbett. 1 komplettes Badezimmer und 1 WC erfüllen bequem alle Ihre Bedürfnisse. Das Wohnzimmer ist sonnig und freundlich mit herrlichem Blick in den Wald. Die Küche ist komplett mit Kochgeschirr und Geschirr für Ihren eigenen Hummerauflauf aus dem Osten ausgestattet! 8 'hohe Terrassentüren bringen viel Licht herein, und direkt vor dem Haus befindet sich ein hochwertiger Gasgrill, ein Tisch, Stühle und ein Sonnenschirm. Acadia stay August 2024

We enjoyed our stay very much. The sunroom was our favorite room. The house was great for the most part. There were a few minor items that needed attention like window shades and toilet seat but overall this was a great place to stay to be close to all the sights and shopping in Bar Harbor/Acadia.

This property was centrally located to all attractions. It was a whole house in a beautiful, woodsy, quiet setting, well stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay there. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Steve was great to deal with. The property was clean, bright, and quiet. It's a 12-minute, easy drive to Bar Harbor, that allows you to avoid the in-season crowds, while providing access to restaurants and shopping.

Quiet, comfortable, and relaxing

We spent much of our time in the cottage, since the weather was dreary and we were not feeling well. The place is very relaxing and has many amenities that added to the experience - organ, books, and games, sunroom, etc. We were initially perplexed by the mini counter-top oven, but were able to make nice meals and now want one of our own. The downstairs bed was very comfy, and the shower was hot and powerful. We can imagine how beautiful the gardens will be in the summer. We traveled with our 18 month old. After a bit of babyproofing, the upstairs bedroom was perfect for his play and naptimes. We look forward to coming back again.

A Perfect Base to Launch Your Acadia Adventure

The cottage is bright and airy; beautiful custom construction awaits you inside. A wonderful spot to return to after a day outdoors. A good vacation lodging is not be the star of the show but should subtly enhance your holiday. Acadia Haven does just that. As a bonus Steve and Rose are lovely hosts.

Cozy Acadia Home

Everything went very well. The home was very well equipped, in fact had more than we expected. We had no problems with checkin, coming and going, and communicating with the owners (who only lived next door). The home was very private (which we loved), yet not far from the activities we engaged in during our stay. Highly recommended and will definitely find this place again any time we go back to Acadia.

Quiet but handy

This lovely home located in the woods outside of town was perfectly situated for easy access to not only the carriage roads near Eagle Lake, but also to many other great trails, as well as routes to downtown Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and Northeast Harbor. At the end of your adventures, you can relax in peace, surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Central location, nice property

The house is on the same property as another rental and the owner’s house but there is plenty of space and the location is close to everything we wanted to do on Mount Desert Island. We weren’t able to personally meet the owners but it’s clear they put a lot of thought and care into their property. Would definitely recommend!

Love it here

This is the second time we stayed here and plan on a third visit in 2023. We love the location; quiet and woodsy yet close to everything. The house has everything you could need and is so comfortable. We love the yard, garden, porch, and having a washer and dryer. The owners are terrific and helpful if you need them.

Very comfortable, quiet, private setting.

Acadia Haven is a perfect location for a coastal get away off season. Close enough to Bar Harbor for a little shopping and access to the park but far enough away to enjoy quiet and peaceful evenings. Steve and Rose are very responsive to any unexpected needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and Convenient

I needed a spot safe for a single middle-aged woman that was convenient to all the towns on Mount Desert Island. Acadia Haven. I like homes that lots of light and/or lots of windows and connection to the outdoors. Acadia Haven was perfect. The host was available if I had needed him, which I never did. I wish I could rent for next season, but for the week I wish to be there, it is rented. So, renting the cabin on the same property.

Great Vacation Home

We really enjoyed our 1 week vacation here in Acadia living in this nice quiet house. The location is perfect for Acadia Nation Park and it is maintained well by the lovely owner Steve and Rose. We were relaxed and got a feeling of home.

Hiking vacation

Steve and Rose provided lovely accommodations that made our return to Acadia most memorable. The property itself is respectfully nestled into the woods allowing visitors to see deer and awaken to the sounds of singing birds daily. Highly recommended!

Loved the peace and quiet yet close to everything.

Steve and Rose were wonderful hosts and we loved our vacation house. It had everything we needed and more. The linens, beds. Kitchen supplies were all excellent. I felt like we were Iin the mountains and woods but in a few minutes we could npbe in SW Harbor, NE Harbor and Bar Harbor. Lovedhaving such a great washer and dryer, excellent WiFi and TV. Will definitely be staying again. If you play piano or a keyboard you might want to bring some sheet music for the music room,.

A beautiful, quiet respite

I have rented from Steve and Rose in the past and really enjoyed being back on MDI. They're so friendly and helpful, and their rental is clean, cosy, and peaceful! Best night's sleep you can have, and all just minutes from Bar Harbor, Acadia, and the quiet side of the island. Will be back!
