Dieses städtische Heiligtum ist eine Oase mitten in der Stadt. Wunderschöne Luxusrenovierung mit hochwertigen Oberflächen. Englischer Keller, Sichtziegel, Fußbodenheizung (Bett / Bad), 1 Bett / Bad, Schlafsofa. Im Herzen des Capitol Hill! Zu Fuß zu 2 U-Bahnen (Union Station & Eastern Market), Restaurants & Nachtleben! Der lichtdurchflutete Raum passt bequem zu 2, kann aber 4 Personen aufnehmen (mit Schlafsofa). (Bitte beachten Sie, dass für zusätzliche Gäste ab 2 Jahren zusätzlich 25 USD pro Person und Nacht anfallen.)

Der Raum für die Gäste ist komplett privat mit separatem Eingang (Vorder- und Rückseite), allen Annehmlichkeiten inklusive - Kabel / WiFi, Gourmetküche, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Fußbodenheizung (Schlafzimmer / Bad). Günstig gelegen und für Geschäftsreisende und Besucher gleichermaßen geeignet.

Ein Block vom öffentlichen Bus, Capitol Bikeshare, 8 Blocks von 2 U-Bahn-Linien (Union Station & Eastern Market) und 2 Blocks von der Straßenbahn H Street und 4 Blocks von Whole Foods. Parken an der Straße (mit Einschränkungen). Walk Score von 94.

Ich habe 2 Jahre damit verbracht, diesen Raum liebevoll wieder aufzubauen, um ihn unglaublich zu machen. Jede Liebe zum Detail, Sonnenkollektoren für das Haus einzuschließen. Ich hoffe, es gefällt Ihnen genauso gut wie mir und Sie fühlen sich wie zu Hause - und bereichern Ihren Besuch mit schönen Erinnerungen an DC, die Nachbarschaft und das städtische Heiligtum. Amazing stay - highly recommend

I loved staying here and hope to return on future DC trips. The apartment has everything you would need for stay and the interior design details are inspiring. The bed was very comfortable. I was worried it might be chilly but was pleasantly surprised by the heated floors. Jamie, the owner, was awesome about checking in if I needed anything (which I didn't) and about offering early check in and check out, which was not needed but greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here. Neighborhood is also very quiet and close to public transit to jump to where ever you would need to go.

Urban Sanctuary

Without a doubt one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed at. The room was marvelous. The bed so comfortable. All amenities as described. Our host checked in with us several times to be sure all was well. Never have had a host so attentive to our needs. Thank you Janie!! Would definitely come back again!!

DC trip

This place is PERFECT ! Walking distance from all forms of transportation, beautiful quiet neighborhood. The home is comfortable and cozy, it included everything needed to get away but still feel at home... small things, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washer dryer, dishwasher. The host is amazong and full of usefull information, the home has many brochures and maps to help with your trip while you enjoy breakfast in the fully equiped kitchen.... I could go on forever.... BOTTOM LINE: This place ROCKS ! and the host is amazing !

I needed to do research at the National Archives. The space was perfect and there is a great coffee shop on the way to Union Station. The Metro made it easy for me to just fly in and walk for most of my stay. Will stay here again when I come to do research

Excelent location, great place to stay in DC

The property is very well maintained and located, close to services, transportation, local attractions. It has everything that you may need and all in good conditions, everything worked well and both me and the teenager I stayed with were very happy and comfortable. I highly appreciated the constant communication with Jamie the owner, who was at all times very caring that we had a good experience in the place, and answered immediately to all questions or doubts. I thank Jamie and hope to stay there any time I go back.

Very nice place and neighborhood. Short walk to Supreme Court and Capital. Good street parking. All in all terrific experience for 6 nights, 3 adults. Good communication with owner. Would stay again.

Great visit!

We enjoyed our stay at Urban Sanctuary on Capitol Hill! It was just as pictured and Jamie was such a kind and responsive hostess! We were able to walk to the Capitol building and Union Station easily from this location and Uber rides were easy to come by too! The basement apartment was very clean and well equipped for our long weekend stay and there was a convenient little market right across the street too. We will definitely stay again next time we are in DC!

All the Conveniences & Comfort of Your Own Home

Property was beautiful with heat and a/c, clean, comfortable, fully stocked with anything you might need in a kitchen or bathroom, had a huge tv, had brochures of everything you might want to see during your stay, info on the metro and ubers, a washer and drier. Our host Jamie was lovely and helpful with everything. She even made us cookies!

Cute, Comfy & Convenient

We spent a week seeing the major sights of DC. Appreciated the convenience of being within walking distance to Union Station, which was the hub of our transportation. The apartment is just as shown in the listing. Very colorful, cute and has everything you could need. The bed is super comfy. The shower is great! Washer and dryer allowed us to pack light. Jamie responded very quickly to any questions we had. Very satisfied. Would stay here again.

This property is well-appointed and seems to have been recently renovated. It is equipped with helpful additional features such as a stand-up mirror next to the king-size bed. The kitchen is spotless and the owner kindly left some edible items for our enjoyment. A large screen across from a comfortable couch enabled viewing of streaming content. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Great Week in Washington,D.C.

We spent a great week in DC celebrating our 20th anniversary. Jamie, our host was attentive and provided great recommendations for restaurants, which we appreciated! The Perfect Place

We loved this urban sanctuary. It was scrupulously clean and well appointed. Jamie provided a lot of extra touches one wouldn’t normally expect, which made things easier (laundry soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, tp, etc.). The apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated, and so comfortable. It’s also very conveniently situated to so many kinds of transportation. We got everywhere we needed to go very easily, and we loved having a comfortable, spacious retreat to return to in the evenings.

DC museums & monuments

This is a GREAT place to stay. Very clean, convenient, stylish and comfortable. It was perfect for the two of us but it could accommodate a family of four just as comfortably. We walked everywhere. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby and the Union Station metro station is a few blocks down the street. If you are there on the weekend don't miss the Eastern Market. Our host was welcoming and very helpful in planning our activities. We saw some things that we would not have known about without her suggestions. I highly recommend this place for your trip to DC. We will stay here again when we return.

The perfect location for a DC Experience

This property is a beautiful safe space to explore DC. We received a wonderful welcome with a nice card and bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my granddaughter's college graduation upon arrival. Jamie was a pleasure to work with and provided an immediate response when the housekeeper forgot to leave the keys in the lockbox. Within minutes she had us in the unit and then personally delivered a set of keys to us!! Highly recommend!

Gem in the Heart of D.C.

What a great stay! Jamie, our host, made our stay extra special — from the hand-written welcome card and bubbly to her incredible responsiveness to answering questions and providing recommendations about the area to making sure we were as comfortable as possible! This property is off the beaten path in a safe neighborhood, yet close enough to walk to or take a quick Uber or Lyft to the monuments. We’ll be back!
