Im Nebengebäude: Terrasse, Wohnzimmer mit offen Küche, Badezimmer, Obergeschoss mit Schlafzimmer. Im Außenbereich: Großer möblierter Patio & Sonnendeck. Swimmingpool von besonderer Schönheit, mit 2 Eingängen, 2 Hydro-Massage Plätze für 6, Sprungbrett, Wasserspiele, Außendusche; das Lavagestein & das Sonnenlicht halten das Wasser auf idealer Temperatur zum Baden, sogar in der Nacht. Landhaus und Schwimmbecken sind in einem ruhigen landwirtschaftlichen Bereich, mit einem einfachen Zugang durch hundert Meter der vor kurzem gepflasterten Straße der Steine, wie in altem Alter.

Die Villa befindet sich zwischen Acireale und Acitrezza; nur 8 Minuten vom Meer entfernt, 50 Minuten von der Spitze des Etna, 40 Minuten von Taormina (über die Autobahn), 30 Minuten von Catania (über die Autobahn). Die Gäste können den wundervollen Swimmingpool, aber auch das nahe Meer mit dem Ufer aus Lavagestein oder Sand genießen; sowie den Fisch in den Restaurants von Acitrezza und die Straßen in Acireale umgeben von Barockarchitektur. Ein Tagesausflug kann auch nach Syracuse und Agrigento führen, zu deren Museen und archäologische Stätten.

Im Sommer, werden regelmäßig die Zitronenbäume gewässert, der Garten gepflegt und der Rasen gemäht. Der Manager der Villa lebt für mögliche Hilfe in der Nähe. Der Swimmingpool ist vom 1. April bis zum 31. Oktober geöffnet.

Great villa in Eastern Sicily !

Nine friends have rented villas for many years. All of us really enjoyed our week at this beautiful villa. The outside eating area is just fabulous as is the pool. The family who owns the villa is very helpful and accommodating. We loved some of the neighboring fishing villages and had some great lunches there. We also took a day trip to Syracuse which was very enjoyable - make sure to have walking shoes and get a guide. Only complaint was the hard mattress on the beds. Otherwise it was perfect and would rent again in a heart beat.

Luxury Home in Sicily

This home has everything you can imagine for a vacation in paradise. The pictures are very accurate. The pool is amazing! The home is absolutely beautiful. It is not like many rental properties which have just the basics. This house and property obviously belongs to a family that loves and takes care of property. I felt privileged to stay in such a magnificent home. The AC did not work when we arrived on a hot day. But they sent someone out immediately to fix it. The property is difficult to find since the streets in Sicily are not well marked. We loved our visit and would definitely like to return some day!

Sicilian Seclusion

My family and I have just returned from a 9-day stint at this stunning property that we have affectionately termed "Lemon Grove Villa." The photos don't do justice to the idyllic setting or high-end accommodations at this rental. This property is clearly loved by the family that owns it and served as a luxurious base for our vacation in Eastern Sicily. 20+ meters in length and 3 meters in depth, the swimming pool is probably the best residential pool I have ever seen. Giant boulders of lava rest inside the pool which I assume serve to trap the sun's heat as well as to provide a uniquely Sicilian bathing experience, complete with an infinity edge view over the hillside and beyond to the Ionian Sea. A nearby grape vine-entwined pergola offers full daytime shelter from the blazing sun, where you can dry comfortably amidst wafts of honeysuckle. The house is full of extras, including a hammock, comfortable outdoor couches, well stocked bar, 8mbps reliable internet, and even a pizza oven! As other reviewers have pointed out and as we were all-too prepared for, the hard beds were the only conspicuous weakness at Lemon Grove Villa, although this is a common problem we have run into across Italy. Goldilocks would not approve of these beds. We found that they could be softened with the help of the lounge chair mats from the pool. Incidentally, the bed in the "casole", or guest house, is much softer than the beds in the main house. GPS was critical in finding Lemon Grove Villa and navigating around the vicinity in general. Both Apple Maps and Google Maps will identify the property if you search for "Via Brinzio" and select the resulting entry in Aci Catena. Beautiful villa, great service

Lovely villa, all features described accurately as in the listing. Paola was very helpful with information and instructions beforehand, and Pietro and his grandmother were fantastically welcoming when we arrived. They explained all the features and facilities to us, and they had taken a lot of time and care to make sure the property was spotless when we arrived. Grandmama had even baked us some cookies, a lovely touch. The instructions to reach the property were a little confusing, and could be improved The house is wonderfully spacious, with two great outside patios; one which we used at mealtimes, and the other at the pool. The pool itself is fantastic - big and deep enough to swim properly, easy access, and well located in the garden with trees and a view. The air conditioning was much appreciated in the summer heat. The kitchen is a little small and cramped compared to the rest of the house, but well-equipped (except no kettle!!) . Some of the family found the beds too hard (this has been commented on by previous guests). Amenities in the immediate area are limited, but plenty within a 10-20 km radius, and Paolo provided some good information beforehand, so this wasn't a surprise. Overall, we can certainly recommend this - it was expensive, but the property itself, and the excellent service provided by Paolo & Pietro justifies the cost.

Scillian Tranquility

We had a lovely holiday at a pretty well equipped villa, with a beautiful pool and garden. I would recommend this villa, the only complaint was the very hard beds.

Lovely villa for family members

The villa was just perfect for our family reunion. We found it clean with all the amnesties that made our stay pleasurable . All the necessary service are at at close reach. We all enjoyed the wonderful swimming pool.

Schöne Villa mit absolut traumhaftem Pool & Garten

Wir buchten die Villa für eine Woche mit unseren Kindern (15+18 Jahren) sowie den Grosseltern. Die Besitzerin Anna ist sehr sympathisch und hat zur Begrüssung sogar Biscottis für uns gebacken! Die Villa ist super ausgestattet und die Lage perfekt für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche. Der riesengrosse Pool ist absolut traumhaft und die Sicht ebenfalls. Der Garten ist riesengross und perfekt zum Spielen. Wir können dieses Objekt jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

what a marvelous place!

we were a group of 9 persons, 6 adults, 3 children, 13,14 and 9years. We've been to many other villas before, but everyone just loved this place. It is so beautiful. Great time at the villa in Acireale

The time I spent at the villa with my family and friends was great! The place is wonderful, very quiet and with a lot of space inside the property! The pool is definitely the best part of the house and once you are there you'll completely relax and enjoy the see view. To go to the main shopping centre and to the beachs you need a car but at a walking distance there are a fruit&veggie ‘shop’ (a nice guy along the street close to the property) and a fish market of really good quality! A mention of honour to Mrs. Annamaria who host us! She was very nice and she helped us for anything we needed! Thanks again! I hope to spend other time there. Alessandro

Wow! Simply amazing!

We spent three wonderful days (not nearly enough time!) at this beautiful villa. Everything was perfect! The house was very clean and beautifully decorated; the kitchen was well-stocked; the garden was gorgeous; and the pool was simply fabulous!! Truly, this is the nicest holiday villa we have stayed in, and we travel quite a bit. Paolo was wonderful to work with, answering emails quickly and providing us with very useful information on local sights, shops, restaurants, beaches, etc. We very much hope to return someday and would absolutely recommend this villa to family and friends. Truly had a wonderful experience and an amazing weekend in Sicily. Thank you again!

Wonderful Holiday Home

The villa was beautiful, private, and very well maintained. The location was convenient for visiting Taormina, Militello, and Mount Etna. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and a was great entertainment for the children (ages 6 & 8). The owner was responsive and provided us with information on Sicily and areas of interest within driving distance from the villa. We would most definitely book this home again.

Week in beautiful Sicily

Our family spent an amazing week in Sicily, staying in this beautiful Villa. Based on the photos on the website, which already promised a lot, the reality was even better. The house was huge, especially just for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children), it was very tidy, cosy and beautifully decorated and provided all we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped and the terrace on the backyard was our favourite place to have breakfast and meals or to read a book on the shade during the hottest time of the day.Outside there was plenty of space for kids to run around, but the best of all was definately the pool. The pool has both a shallow part, where young kids can play, but it is also perfect for adults for swimming. In the evening you can switch on the lights on the bottom of the pool and enjoy an evening dip. By the pool there was a big parasol and several chairs. We visited Taormina, which is easily reached by Motorway, and we also visited few of the fishing villages nearby for an evening stroll and dinner. The armosphere in these villages seems very authentic Sicilian and there were basically no other tourists around at that time. The owner had collected for us a list of the potential places to visit, both nearby and other parts of Sicily, and we were also kindly instructed by the restaurants and shops nearby. Although, if you search for relaxation, you can just stay at the villa and enjoy...The shopping center, offering shops both for clothes and grocies, was only 5 mins drive from the villa. You definately need a car, but it is fairly easy to reach from Catania airport by motorway, and you get used to the Sicilian way of driving quite fast. In overall we could not have wished for a better place to spend our holiday. Everything went smoothly, the weather was perfect (b/o June) and the owner really arranged things to go smoothly for us. Thank You a lot, and I hope to visit your Villa again!

fantastic holidays

We are three couples in the 60th and spent fantastic holidays at Villa Ancient Roman Bath in May 2012. The building meets the highest standard and can be highly recommended by us. Another highlights are the extraordinary swimming pool and the huge property, covered by orange and lemon orchard. This location was a good starting point for our sightseeing trips to Mount Ätna, Ragusa, Taormina, Savoca, Noto, Siracussa and Messina. Harald

Schöner Urlaub auf Sizilien

Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für Entdeckungen an der Ostküste und des Etnagebietes. Der Flughafen ist innerhalb einer Stunde erreichbar, so dass man auch am späten Abend ankommen kann. In der Umgebung gibt es einige empfehlenswerte Restaurants und Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf. Eigentümer und Verwalter sind bei Fragen jederzeit behilflich. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und Privatsphäre. Alles, was man im Urlaub braucht, ist vorhanden. Das beste ist der Außenbereich. Eine große Citrusplantage, umlaufende Terrasse, bequeme Gartenmöbel, Grill und ein wunderschöner, riesiger Pool mit Meerblick mit separater Terrasse. Hier kann man auch richtig schwimmen und tauchen; nicht nur planschen. In der Nähe ist eine Bahnlinie, die nur selten genutzt wird. Auch die Strasse unterhalb des Hauses haben wir nicht als störend empfunden. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wonderfull villa with soul

We had excelent holiday on this villa in June 2011. We are a big family with children. One our child is dissable (he could not walk himself), everything was good for him, just one thing was not good-that period when we were, the main entrance to the house was closed becouse the road was repaired, we used other one, but there was enough big staires.And for the rest: huge lemon tree garden, charming comfortable spacious house, unusual beauty big pool, near the pool fully equipped place for sunny buth with comfort (good quality umbrella, many beds, table). from here opens a wonderfull view to the sea. Convenient location to the sightseeings (we visited Catania, Caltagirone, Taormina, Siracusa, fashion village). We did not find a good beach near the house, but we did not ask owner about it, because for us pool was enough. And one moment else- there are many snakes on Sicily. Owner is very friendly & helpfull. It was the best holiday house in Italy for last three years (our experience). Thank You Paolo

Great Villa, Amazing View and Pool

This beautiful villa with dependence comfortably fit our group of nine. The villa has a great layout and is well maintained. There is a great outdoor table around which we enjoyed our evening meals; the kitchen was well provisioned so meal preparation was easy and clean up great with the dishwasher! The pool is spectacular -- it was hard to pull ourselves away for our day excursions. The villa is very well situated for covering the eastern side of Sicily (Taormina, Siracusa and Mt. Etna). We even covered Agrigento and Piazza Armerina from here. The owner is great and was very helpful as was the caretaker.
