Zurückgesetzt von der Straße und angrenzend an eine große Grünzone der malerischen Surfside Estates. Dieses Paradise Mini Estate hat eine private und ruhige Umgebung für den perfekten Kurzurlaub am Strand in den Tropen.
Mit dem Haus im Vordergrund und der Wohnung (die derzeit langfristig vermietet wird) im hinteren Teil des Anwesens gibt es viel Platz zum Entspannen am Pool und im Whirlpool und zum Genießen der Flora und Fauna. Das Haus, Pool und Rancho sind mit der Hausmiete privat.
Ob für einen kurzen oder langen Aufenthalt, Sie können viele Strände, Supermärkte und Restaurants bequem zu Fuß erreichen oder es sich auf dem schön angelegten 920 m² großen Grundstück gemütlich machen. Update für die Saison 2018 !! Wir haben gerade das Haus, die Wohnung und den Pool renoviert. Viele neue Möbel aus exotischem Holz nach Maß ... einige neue Betten, Esszimmerset, Wohnzimmer, Kunstwerke, alle neuen Badezimmer mit wunderschöner Keramik und neuen Armaturen und Waschtischen. Auch neue Terrassen- und Verandamöbel, Pool renoviert und neu gefliest Einige neue Pool-Lounges und Whirlpools wurden aufgewertet. Beautiful home in a great location

We stayed with my parents for 12 days in this great, fully equipped house. It was clean, well equipped with comfortable beds and AC throughout. The pool was nice and refreshing with a shaded patio area and BBQ. We loved that it was a 300m walk to the nice quiet Potrero beach with fabulous sunsets It was a 10 min walk to small grocery store and various restaurants. Some people rent golf carts but we used Uber to go to Flamingo, Brasilito, etc. The property manager Andrea was fantastic throughout our stay. She had a welcome basket of fruit and coffee for us and gave us many suggestions. Her husband Justin booked us on a couple of tours and arranged airport shuttles. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. It was our 4th time in CR and Potrero was our favourite.

Pura Vida in Costa Rica

Great property with close beach and many restaurants. We enjoyed this location for discovering the beauty of this country. Pool was a great bonus as it is very hot this time of year. Absolutely zero complaints. Property manager is on site for any issues.

Not the perfect beach rental home

We, 2 adult couples, stayed at Casa Rincon Jan3-10, 2023. Pros: the house is quite secure and is a 10 minute walk to a dark sand beach. There is a nice patio with pool and jacuzzi. The patio has a table and 4 chairs but no sunbeds.The TV works well but the blue-ray system doesn't work. There is a new washer/drier-no instruction booklet. I finally got it working by trial and error. Good showers. Cons: On arriving we found no working coffee maker, only mismatched pots and broken base units. The property manager had to go out and buy a new one. No hair dryer either (the description lists one). The description says the house has a modern designer kitchen – maybe in 2000 but now has an old oven with no handle, a stained toaster oven that barely heats, a toaster that burns the bread on one side only. If you like soupy ice cream, put it in the freezer which doesn’t freeze. The cutlery is of Salvation Army quality. The cooking pans are also not in the best shape. We decided to only make breakfast and eat out for the rest of our meals. The beds are hard, coil mattresses with cheap viscose sheets. The twin beds have coils that stuck me in the hip and back. Every morning I awoke tired, with stiff, painful joints. The double beds were very firm but no hard steel poking up. Unfortunately, this is the first time we’ve had to leave a negative review but we think future renters should read both the great reviews and this ‘real story’ review. We are property owners who used to rent out our 4000 sq ft luxury villa in southern Turkey for the same price as Casa Rincon. The pool area had 6 sun loungers, beach bags for guests, sun umbrella – none of this is provided in Casa Rincon. Only beach towels. We provided comfortable beds and top quality Italian linens; we had a detailed booklet of instructions on the use of electronics & all appliances; where to shop for food, restaurant suggestions, as well as basic first aid supplies, contact info for the local doctor, nearest hospital, security and all that makes people enjoy their stay. I had to pepper the property mgr, Lis, myriad times to get this kind of information. We have rented many homes on VRBO and on AirBnB in different countries. This home compares unfavorably to similar accommodations that we’ve rented. With new beds and needed appliance repairs/replacements Casa Rincon will be a pleasant place to stay in Potrero. As is, go mainly for the beach without planning to cook more than basic food.

Great 1st Time in Costa Rica!

My husband and I were the first in our group to arrive. We had a lovey, relaxing time. Our four adult daughters joined days later. The property comfortably supported the six of us. Lis, our host, greeted us with a warm welcome and bags of local fresh fruit. Lis made herself readily availabe for us throughout the week! She was really incredible-we are so grateful to her. We used CostaRicaWetandWild.com for our excursions and could not have been taken care of any better! We highly recommend them!! The kitchen was well equipped, the interior seating was comfortable and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a good size. The pool area was beautiful and we took full advantage of it!! Our only “wish” would be that lounging was available! After a day at the beach or an excursion, it would have been amazing to lounge and nap next to the pool. The neighbors were super kind, helpful, and helped us feel at home! We are grateful and look forward to visiting again!

Pool oasis

We had a wonderful time at this property. Three couples had more than enough living space. The backyard pool was fantastic. Some may say the pool was a bit cold, I found it refreshing. Lis was amazing to deal with, always available with any thing we needed. In fact, all the people who worked there, Gardner, pool guy, cleaners were great.

Beautiful spot clean and quiet

Perfect place for a family getaway. Lis is amazing and helped us with all our needs. She even booked us our covid tests! Close to many adventures and walking distance to everything you need. The pool and backyard are amazing and an oasis of wildlife. We didn't want to leave.

Beach & Jungle Retreat

Nicely decorated & modernized 3 bedroom & 2 bathroom. Plenty of room to share for 6 people. Loved the large kitchen/family room. Five minute (dusty road) walk to public beach access. Huge screened in front porch with fans, bar fridge, sink & 2 seating areas. Rear pool, cabana & gas bbq fenced off from jungle (with some occaisional jungle visitors). A few mechanical issues but property manager Lis & her crews were quick to correct. Lis is also a valuable source for local info & booking excursions. We found golf cart rental ideal transportation to visit stores, restaurants & neighboring beaches. Highly recommend the white sand beach at Flamingo.

I enjoyed our stay, the house was 90% OK, very secure, clean and in good shape.

We had a great stay and the house was in pretty good conditions, the pool was clean and filtering properly, we just have two observations: 1. There is a non pleasent odor at some times during the day around the pool and in the master bedroom, maybe the A/C sucks the odor in the room. 2.Clean the A/C filters, two of the units were cooling but very little air coming out, I believe it is because the dust filters are saturated with dust, specially in this time of the year.

Great home on quiet street

Our Family of 5 stayed for three weeks and found the place to be excellent. the house is very spacious and pictures do not do it justice. The pool and outside area are perfect for relaxing while the kids play in the pool. House is a short (5min) walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to the restaurants and bars lis was great, there to answer any of our questions and even helping with getting a rental car and tours. Great house and Great location for exploring the Guanacaste area

Sweet Oasis

Cash Rincon is always such a delight for us to visit. The property is beautiful with your own pool, the house is spacious and well maintained, the cabina has an authentic island feel, it's a gated lot, and a walk down the street leads you to a massive fruit stand and the ocean shores. It is close to many restaurants and activities; Captain Tom does a great job of setting you up with anything you choose. I highly recommend Casa Rincon to everyone!

Relaxing from everyday life.

We were met at Casa Rincon by Captn Tom, the property manager who had a few supplies for us to get us through till we could go shopping, much appreciated after a long trip. He supplied us with information on the area, customs and the Tico ways of life. Always available to assist should we need help. Our accommodations exceeded the many photos and our expectations, fully equiped, well maintained and most of all thoroughly clean throughout, one of the biggest fears when dealing on a rental property. Ideally situated close to the beach, fruit stand and restaurants within walking distance. The locals are friendly and are helpful with the language barrier, many speak good English. Safety was never an issue in any area we travelled we always felt safe. The country is beautiful, a must see. The highlight of our vacation was having a private pool at your backdoor for all day enjoyment. We hope to return as soon as time is available.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation

This year the family decided to break tradition and head to a warm climate for Christmas vacation. Costa Rica and Casa Rincon was our choice. We were not disappointed with our choice of location or lodging. We were reluctant at first to book a place on line with just the photos on the web site. Once we arrived, we quickly learned the photos do not do Casa Rincon justice. It was one of the nicest homes we have ever rented. It was clean, well maintained and we had all the amenities we needed. Casa Rincon was comfortable, roomy and centrally located within walking distance of a fruit/vegetable stand and the beach. Capt Tom is the consummate host. Once we settled into Casa Rincon, Tom joined us for dinner at one of the local restaurants. He also showed us around so we could get our bearings. He made sure we felt comfortable and our needs were met. Then Capt Tom, like all good host, step in the background but we knew he was there if we needed him. As we learned, one of the best parts about renting Casa Rincon is you get 26 years of experience from a local expert years who makes a living ensuring his guest are happy. Capt Tom understands customer service and repeat business. Capt Tom knows all the best tour guides and the best places to visit. We tried to tour the one of the national parks on our own and found it was closed. Had we consulted with Capt Tom, they may not have happened. We had Capt Tom set up a river cruise and what a wonderful day. The tour guide picked us up at the house. He stayed us throughout the cruise. Once the cruise was finished, he took us to a wonderful local restaurant where we ate traditional Costa Rican food and returned us back to Casa Rincon. The family had a wonderful day, thanks to Capt Tom and Carlos. I highly recommend Casa Rincon and Capt Tom a Costa Rican vacation.

A home away from home

We just returned from a 10 day stay at Casa Rincon October 23rd to November 2nd 2015. We have stayed in Costa Rica a few times now but it is our first time with Captain Tom and Casa Rincon. The house is very roomy, clean and has everything you need to settle in. Captain Tom even provided water, coffee and paper towels which I find is a very considerate start plus there were two bicycles there for our use. After having coffee we toured the area. There are fans in every room and air conditioning if it gets too hot plus a beautiful pool right at your back door that is maintained daily. The fully screened porch is a bonus allowing you to stay outside and enjoy the sounds of the howler monkeys and all the amazing birds for as long as you want. Captain Tom is definitely a highlight to our visit, he is an amazing man with incredible knowledge and experience of the area. Mostly he wants you to really enjoy your holiday so any concerns or problems or if you just need information he is the go to guy. We will be back here for sure. Brian and Jackie Nanaimo BC

Wonderful vacation

We just returned from spending 10 days at Casa Rincon. The house is very comfortable and roomy and the location is very safe and quiet. There is no need to rent a car. There are several restaurants and a couple of supermarkets within walking distance, as well as a fruit market with the freshest fruit. Taxi cabs, if needed, are also easily accessible. There are many other beaches you can visit only minutes away and plenty of attractions/tours, you can take advantage of. The sandwiches at Maxwell's are one of a kind and Coco Loco in Flamingo beach, has the best homemade coconut ice cream in the world. Captain Tom from Casita Realty, is awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable about the area and of the best tours to take, and always willing to help. He went out of his way several times, in order to make sure that we had a great experience. He was always just a phone call away. The Ticos are the nicest people you will ever meet. It was our first time in Costa Rica and in Casa Rincon, but it will definitely not be the last. We are already planning our next visit next year.

Great getaway

My husband and I stayed here for the month of August, 2014, and we had a wonderful time. The house was accurately represented in the ad. It is well laid out and very comfortable. It has a nice kitchen with an open concept. We utilized the pool frequently. We did not rent a car for a few days and had no trouble getting around on foot. There is a well stocked fruit stand nearby and several restaurants. The location is excellent and we took several trips away from the property. We went to Quatil for pottery. We went to Arenal and ziplined at Sky Adventures. We beach hopped. We fished and kayaked. Tom was very helpful and made us feel at home. We will be back!

Great house/Great location

Playa Potrero is a perfect location for beach hopping. It is easy to visit many beaches nearby and each beach is unique. The house is roomy, clean and very comfortable. The pool and pool area are private and relaxing. Capt. Tom is very knowledgeable and helpful. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you'd ever need. Great spot for a vacation.

Awesome Vacation

We just came back from Rincon Paraiso and this place is absolutely wonderful. Although you can have a clear idea of the property by looking at the pictures, what you feel when you get in the house is just complete relaxation. We were five people including my teenage son and daughter along with my son's girlfriend. They had a great time between the pool and the beach. We felt safe at all times even at night when a couple of times we had to walk from the beach back home. Capt. Tom is great because he had the house ready when we arrived, checked on us a couple of times but we never felt he was intrusive at all. On the contrary, we felt that if something had happened, he would have been there to help at any time. The gelateria is definitely a winner. There wasn't a day from a week we stayed that we didn't go. Another great restaurant more Tico style but with great ceviche and seafood and just on the beach is Las Brisas. Of course another hit is Maxwell's which is just in the same neighborhood, Surfside. We would definitely love to go back and recommend this property to our friends. Thank you Capt. Tom for making our vacation a memorable one.

What a beautiful home and location!

We stayed at this home for a week in March, 2014 and it was wonderful. The pool in the back yard is very private and it located beside a tropical forest where you could see and hear lots of wildlife. The house is large and very well appointed with a new kitchen, large shower and everything you need. There's a screened in room in the front that's a nice place to sit in the evenings. There's a nice beach, a couple of restaurants, and a nice pub all within walking distance. The beautiful town of Flamingo with an amazing beach is only a five minute drive away. Golfing, fishing and zip lining are also nearby. I highly recommend this home as a great place to stay for some R & R with beautiful weather. The people in Costa Rica are also wonderful.
