Welcome to Powderhorn Garden, located just a few blocks from Powderhorn Park which has activities year round (including the best sledding hills in the city!)

This dog friendly home which sleeps up to 8 is designed to provide everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay. The sunny kitchen will make you feel at home. Perfect for cooking up a meal, and the dining room comfortably seats eight. For entertainment, the living room features a large TV for movie nights, games, and tons of books. (Bonus: If you love to read and want to finish the book you started, feel free to take it with you. But if you take one, please leave one, too!)

The main level features a Queen bedroom off of the living room and a full bath with a soaking tub off of the kitchen. Make your way upstairs and you'll find a Queen-sized bed and two twin beds, and Queen sofa bed, offering ample space for the whole family. The second full bathroom upstairs features a claw foot tub. Additionally, the twin room has tons of books if you want a quiet, relaxing space to read, work or get away.

Whether you're here to relax, explore, or simply have fun, Powderhorn Garden offers the perfect home base for your Minneapolis getaway. And there’s lots of artsy charm to the neighborhood with May Day Cafe, Reverie, and the Modus Locus art gallery on the same block. Minnestay looks forward to hosting you!

May Day Cafe, right down the block! This worker-owned cafe co-op has been a Powderhorn Park staple for decades! We love popping in for coffee and a pastry. Try the cinnamon rolls!
Reverie Cafe + Bar, right down the block! This is a great vegan restaurant. In the summer, have a drink out on the patio. In the winter, you can dine in or get food for pick up!
Matt’s Bar and Grill, a few blocks east on 35th St. Have a “Jucy Lucy,” a Minneapolis classic, at the bar where it was invented! Remember, Matt’s is cash-only, but they do have an ATM.
Taqueria y Birrieria las Cuatro Milpas, a few blocks north across Lake St. We love las Cuatro Milpas for tacos and flautas. They’ve got great desserts, too!
Hola Arepa, about a 15 minute walk west on 35th St. They’ve got great arepas and excellent spicy margaritas.
Duck Duck Coffee, three blocks south on Cedar Ave. This is a great little coffee shop!

*Local FUN!*
Walk around and play in Powderhorn Park. The park is just a block away, and has multiple playgrounds and ball fields. The parks board has programming often, and there are often artist pop-ups in the park, too! In summer or winter, Powderhorn Park has lots to offer.
Explore and snack at Midtown Global Market. The market is on the north side of the park. This is a great spot to do some shopping and get a snack-y lunch!
See a Show at Pillsbury House and Theater. Check the schedule, but there’s often a great theatrical show to see at Pillsbury House.
Shop at Flamingos Divine Vintage. There are a few dozen antique and vintage vendors at Flamingos, so you’re sure to find something fun. Check their website to see when they’re open next.
Wander Mercado Central. Mercado Central is just a few blocks away. Some vendors sell gifts, toys, and prayer candles. Others sell snacks and full meals.
Sample Nordic goods at Ingebretsen's Nordic Marketplace. Gifts and crafts at Ingebretsen's all come from Sweden, Norway, or Denmark.


*HOUSE RULES*
• All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required.
• All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a photo of yourself holding your ID to verify your identity, prior to check-in, to be emailed or texted to our reservations department. No exceptions. (Please note that we do not have staff available to meet guests in person on site for this purpose.)
• Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation.
• Our Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require your email address. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. More info can be found on the Minnestay website, under Guest Services - Rental Policies.
• No smoking inside of the home. This includes e-cigarette and vape.
• This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well.
• No events! This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions.
• Pets (dogs ONLY) allowed with prior notice and required pet fee (fee dependent on dog count, $150+).
• Please note that you are staying in a private home and not a hotel. We expect that you will treat it with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them as quickly as we are able.
• Consumable amenities provided are not refilled during stay.
• Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.
• Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.


Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.
