The Space:
Recognized as Montana’s #1 golf course, the Wilderness Club has become a haven for links lovers from all across the nation, the Sir Nick Faldo-designed course offering challenging greens and fairways seamlessly blending within the exquisite native landscape. Work up an appetite on the basketball or tennis courts, afterward dining right on site at the Wilderness Club Grille.
In the surrounding area, more award-winning courses await along with majestic Lake Koocanusa offering ample opportunities for boating, watersports, fishing, swimming, and picnicking along its scenic shores. In the winter, be sure to take a day trip to explore nearby Whitefish Mountain and Glacier National Park for snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, and cross-country adventures.
Once you arrive at the Chalet, however, you may find that you never want to leave! Plentiful outdoor spaces allow you to remain immersed in nature whether you’re enjoying cocktails or an al fresco dining experience on the shaded deck or soaking your tired muscles in the bubbling hot tub on the lower-level patio.
The interior is a nod to the surrounding landscape, with wood-forward accents adding warmth and depth to spaces curated to maximize your stay. Soaring vaulted ceilings and large picture windows accent the main living area, furnished with plush sofa and armchair seating for spending well-earned downtime conversing with loved ones while a crackling fire provides warmth and ambiance. On the lower level, gather for a family movie night in the second living space or strike up some competition at the foosball table.
Back on the main level, the modern kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, smooth stone counters, a farm sink, and warm wood cabinetry stocked with all the comforts of home. Whether seated up at the island on high-top stools for 4 or around the elegant table with room for 7, you’ll always find yourself dining in good company.
