We wanted someplace with privacy, semi-quiet, kitchen and beach access. This place, which is an older property, met those requirements. First, the staff was great. Cheryl (manager) was extremely responsive. Bre' (guest services) was quick and knowledgeable, responding to anything from linen services to maintenance issues. The unit was located far enough from the public beach to have reduced traffic, but only a 10 min. shore-walk from our private beach to the public beach. The very pleasant rear screened-in porch overlooking the intracoastal waterway watching pelicans and the boat launch, was where we ate and spent most downtime if not cooking or sleeping. There were disappointments. The porch had not been cleaned and we swept out sand, pet hair and a cigar butt. Only two of the windows (neither door) were operable with screens, so we had to rely on the A/C even though the weather was mild. As an engaged cook, the kitchen was not "fully stocked" as advertised although the stovetop/oven, fridge and microwave were new, there was a dearth of eating and cooking utensils, and cookware, i.e. one 8" frying pan. These were mostly minor inconveniences and overall we we comfortable and pleased with our stay.
