Nestled in a peaceful & private setting, the property overlooks beautiful gardens, a firepit, & a serene pond, yet remains conveniently close to nearby towns. The cottage itself is absolutely stunning - boasting a gorgeous layout, high-end finishes, & every amenity you could possibly need. The kids loved playing games, exploring the pond & grounds, & perusing the collection of books. We enjoyed cooking in the expansive kitchen, watching the snow fall outside the large windows, & cozying up by the fire to watch Christmas movies together. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms spacious & luxurious, & the entire home is immaculate. Our family originally came to Maine to experience Christmas Prelude but ended up spending most of our time at the cottage - and not one of us regrets it. We can’t wait to return!"****************"This place is.. MAGIC. My wife and I needed a weekend away to unplug and recenter, and this was the perfect place to do that. The space is so carefully and intentionally curated. The chalkboard with personalized sunrise/ sunset times, local beaches, shops and restaurants, paired with the homemade sourdough bread (amazing, btw) and local treats was such a warm and welcoming treat. The most unique and wonderful piece is the fact that they have included a vegetable garden specifically where you can enjoy picking your own produce and cooking it right there. We’ve never experienced anything like this space. It was clean, gorgeous and peaceful- We slept like babies. The hosts were responsive, warm and SO helpful.
