Wunderschön renoviertes, 600 Quadratmeter großes Apartment mit einer Küche in voller Größe und Blick auf das türkisfarbene Wasser der Südküste von Bermuda. Twizy Ladegerät am privaten Laufwerk der Wohnung. Das Apartment befindet sich nur 500 m vom besten Schnorchelstrand Bermudas, Church Bay, entfernt und direkt gegenüber dem Reefs Resort (Restaurants, Bars und ein fantastisches Spa). Auf den wichtigsten Buslinien (Bus Nr. 7 am Ende der Fahrt) können Sie sich nebenan ein Moped ausleihen. Es gibt 9 Restaurants in Gehweite sowie einen Golfplatz, Bars und Wassersportarten (Tauchen, Kajakfahren, Schnorcheln usw.). Die Preise betragen 185 USD / 190 USD im April, Mai, September und Oktober (180 USD für 14 oder mehr Tage), 210 USD im Juni, Juli und August sowie 140 USD / 150 USD für November bis März (120 USD für 28 oder mehr Tage in der Nebensaison). Es fallen keine zusätzlichen Reinigungsgebühren an. 2. freistehendes Schlafzimmer zum Studio mit Kingsize-Bett, Sitzecke, Bad, Waschküche und privater Terrasse. Das 2. Schlafzimmer kann nur als 2. Hard to top this location! Easy access to the bus- fantastic location for beaches and the rail trail. Clean, well appointed apt with everything we needed and more for our week stay. Hosts were excellent communicators and made sure we had whatever we needed for a comfortable stay. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend this apt!

Back in Bermuda

Having been to Bermuda in my Royal Navy career I promised my wife that I would take her. We found the property on the VRBO web site and we were so glad that we did, and it was available. Pre arrival Donna had arranged a taxi from the airport for us who (due to delay in flight could not take us to the supermart, but took us to the petrol station to get bread & milk etc) On arrival at apartment it was late evening but we soon settled and enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine. The apartment is studio style with a well sized kitchen area and a spacious bathroom. Bed was comfy and with the air con set just right, meant no sleepless nights. The amazing pool area is just great for kicking back, listening to the birds and cooling off. We hired a twizzy for 7 days and the ability to charge it at the property was welcomed. Yes, their is an uphill walk to the apartment from the road, but the views are more than worth the short walk. Donna and Chris also got us bus zone tickets (area 3 & 14) and all we needed to do was reimburse them for what we used. This was great for when we did not have or use the Twizzy. We had a great time exploring the Island, visiting old memories for me and new ones for Linda. Would we go back? you bet. Would we stay at Donna and Chris's apartment? Hell yes.

Bermuda 2024

My husband and I have been to Bermuda before, but always felt rushed to return to the cruise. This time we flew and had the most relaxing, yet productive vacation ever. Donna is so kind, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. She helped us with anything we needed, from directions to transportation, and even some snacks. The apartment is just enough. Plenty of space, clean, and cool. Oh, and the view! We wanted for nothing, except to stay for a while longer. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect location & incredible views! Best stay in Bermuda!!

Look no further than this perfect apartment in paradise! I am so happy we chose to stay at Rock Sound! It was extremely clean, had all of the comforts of home, a gorgeous private pool and more! It’s located in the best spot on the island (south shore) which is where all of the best beaches are including world famous Horseshoe Bay! It’s also located across the street and walking distance to The Reefs Resort which had delicious food and drinks. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. Before our arrival and throughout our stay, Donna was thorough with directions, instructions, and communication. She even offered to purchase bus passes, groceries and arrange for a private taxi to/from the airport prior to our arrival. Her hospitality is top notch!! During our stay, she checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and even went out and purchased a fan for us to use while we slept because we were a little stuffy the first night. The A/C cooled the apartment nicely and the water pressure was great too. We literally could not ask for better hosts or a better place to stay. Everything was absolutely perfect! We will definitely be back to stay here again!!!

Southhampton apartment

This was our first time staying with Chris and Donna. Everything was wonderful. We loved the apartment, the kitchen was well equipped and was perfect for us, as we like to cook in most meals. The location was convenient to the beaches and attractions. The view from the apartment was breathtaking. Chris and Donna were available for all our questions and made some good recommendations. We will definitely be coming back.

Total false advertisement! Very steep hill going up to apt or down to main road, with no lighting & door doesn't lock so very scary. Never met the owners or anyone. They were in touch by phone tho. Leaving bus tickets on desk was very helpful. Total of what I paid was more than the worth esp with dangerous inconveniences & towels that smelled bad! I should've stayed elsewhere for less but thought I was gonna get more here..:( I wouldn't stay here again & don't recommend. Owner offered me a refund if I left before the time but everything was sold out since it was last minute & there was a tournament going on during this holiday season. I shouldn't have gone thru that for the five nights I stayed in Bermuda. That was the only thing ruining my vacation- this studio apt in the middle of nowhere- at one of the highest points parallel to the lighthouse. Unacceptable to not be honest before taking people's money that just wanna enjoy a well deserved Island Vaca for a few days.... Not rite!!!

Mother daughter vacation in paradise :)

Donna and Chris were almost invisible yet very attentive to our needs. We had the pool to ourselves and the charming garden filled with the evening lullaby of whistling tree frogs. The outside terrace and BBQ were a wonderful bonus on top of the breathtaking beaches within walking distance. We are grateful to have partaken in their paradise:)

Spectacular views from this lovely studio apartment in Southampton Parish

This well appointed studio apartment with spectacular views was opposite the Reefs Resort in Southampton Parish. It was within walking distance of numerous restaurants and on the number 7 bus route to Hamilton and Naval Dockyard. Great walking in the area on the Railway trail as long as you are not afraid of a few hills. Apartment is very well equipped and you have access to a lovely pool. Really recoommend it.

Loved the apartment! Clean and we had everything we needed. Chris and Donna were great! They arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport, had fresh fruit and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The location can’t be beat.

All the fabulous reviews about Donna & Chris’s Rock Sound place are absolutely true - the place and the hosts are extraordinarily kind, caring and comfortable. Donna arranged everything from our airport taxi (ask for Shawn to get you - he knows all the best local haunts!) - to getting us wine, seltzer, fruits and bus tickets! Rock Sound’s location is superb as you can walk or bus to fabulous beaches in a matter of minutes. Take the bus to Warwick Beach South and you can walk along the coast trail and discover beautiful secluded beaches and coves - location - location - location!!! The bus stop is at the bottom of their driveway and you can easily travel to Dockyard or Hamilton. The scooter rental is also a short walk from Rock Sound, ( ask for Kevin at the scooter rental) and Rock Sound is ideally located by South Road, so you can scooter to amazing sites and local hangouts - especially Woody’s for their fish sandwich - Cooper Island for it’s natural beauty- The Mad Hatter in Hamilton for dinner - and the Restless Native Catamaran out of Dockyard for snorkeling- all a treat with beautiful Rock Sound as your home base. Best of all - Rock Sound has an amazing pool - and the sunsets from the pool are stunning ! So, another 5 review and rating for this great property- it is an amazing place to stay! Thanks Donna and Chris - we love Rock Sound and you too!

Perfect Location and Perfect Hosts

We had a great vacation (2 adults) at this property and the hosts were the best I have experienced . The location is excellent and very quiet and private. There is a beautiful large pool which we practically had to ourselves unlike other places we have stayed where multiple parties share a tiny pool. We rented a Twizy to explore the island and the charger at the apartment came in very handy! AC works great and everything one could ask for is there. The island is beautiful, clean and extremely safe! If we come back here this is definitely where we'll stay!

We bought Rock Sound in 2010 after looking at dozens of homes. As soon as we saw Rock Sound we fell in love with it as it is in a wonderful neighbourhood with amazing views and lots to do nearby.

Rock Sound is literally across the road from the famous Reefs Hotel with its restaurants, bars, beach and spa. Within a mile is the Fairmont Southampton hotel with numerous restaurants, beach, bars, water sports, tennis and golf. But what really makes this a special place to stay is the proximity of beaches, restaurants, Gibbs Hill lighthouse and public transportation. You could not find a place to stay with all of this without paying hotel resort costs!
