Beautifully decorated and central apartment.

A lovely apartment with lots of character. It has everything you need, and is in a central location. The owner is very helpful. We had a great stay - it is one of our favourite properties on Stayz so far.

Fantastic place

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful flat. Everything was as advertised. Alex is a great host, there to greet us and give us a wealth of information about the area. I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful location if you don’t drive

The home was wonderful and we loved the location for walking, however both Google maps and Apple Maps seemed jumbled when it came to finding a way to the house that cars can go through. Once we figured it out and got parked it was AMAZING!! The host was very kind and helpful and we had a wonderful time going out and then being close enough to warm up and eat then head back out for the beautiful Christmas lights!

Excellent location

Check-in information was provided ahead of time and was a very smooth process. The apartment is very interesting and has plenty of space for two couples. One bed is located at the top of some stairs, but it was still very pleasant. The location could not be beat!

Perfect place to stay in a beautiful city

Our first time visiting the city of Bruges. What an awesome city with so much to see. This holiday flat is the perfect location to see it all. Super clean and well maintained in a perfect location .The owners were great to work with at check in and checking out could not be easier. The local parking is a huge plus as well. I highly recommend staying at Casa Michelangelo !

This apt is in a great location just outside the busy tourist area. Its very quiet and allow easy access to all parts of Bruges. Alex is an excellent host and gave us many good recommendations for our visit.

Wonderful host, property, and location

Casa Michaelango and Alex were wonderful hosts during our short stay in Bruges. Perfect place for my wife, myself, and another couple. The location is a 5 to 15 minute walk from anything Bruges has to offer. A definite must stay.

Great location and host

We loved the location - close enough to the main sites to easily walk there but far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. Our cabbie took us to the wrong location at first and Alex immediately answered our call and found us and escorted us to the right place. It was clean and comfortable. He also got us a cab to the station at the end of our stay and was very accommodating in every way. Top ranking!

Great Apartment, Great Location

To me, Alex's apartment is a charming example of old European styling -- eclectic, interesting, and beautiful -- with a fantastic location to venture around Brugge. We did all the touristy stuff but also tried to do some of the local stuff. The recommendations were great. Well appointed and comfortable. 100% would stay again next time in Bruge.

Alex’s property was a fantastic base for my wife, daughter and I’s exploration of Bruges and Ostend. Everything was as pictured and described and the house was extremely clean and well-kept. Alex provided a wealth of information at check-in that helped shape our stay. We hope to return some day!

Beautiful in Bruges

Where to start with how well appointed and comfortable our stay was here. First Alex met us when we arrived, showed us around, explained how all the appliances worked and gave us many recommendations for where to go, what to eat, and who had the best chocolate (take this advise, they are not all the same) The location of this house is situated just far enough from the crowds to be nice and quiet but close enough to easily walk to all the sights and stores. The house itself is well furnished and felt like a home, not like a typical vacation rental. There is a washer and dryer in the basement that worked very well. This home also has air conditioning which was nice on hot days Highly recommend!.

Fantastic home base for our stay in Bruges

Was a fantastic property with all the comforts of home, situated in the historic center of Bruges. The process from beginning to end was smooth and the host Alex a joy to deal with. What an experience!

Alex is such an excellent host. His apartment is not only perfectly situated but furnished with taste. Alex helped bring our suitcases upstairs and even our groceries. What a nice man. I was there with my two adult kids. I had the nicest room and felt like a queen. My kids too were happy with their rooms. I would go there again and again. And oh! I almost forgot to mention the beautiful little terrasse between the roofs, great spot for apéro time ! Thanks Alex for your wonderful house.

A Gem within a gem

When we arrived at Casa Michaelangelo, Alex helped us up the stairs with our luggage, gave us a tour of the apartment and then wonderful suggestions to make our stay truly memorable. The air conditioner worked great with the warm temps, the art work and decor are first class and the location is convenient to all places in Bruges!

Wonderful Home

The Casa Michelangelo served as our home away from home while in Bruges. Our host, Alex, was extremely gracious and went out of his way to tell us about local attractions. He keeps a meticulous, tastefully decorated property with tons of natural light throughout. Walking distance to everything. We were only there a couple nights and were so sad to leave. We would say there again in a minute.
