Am Strand im Sugar Beach Resort - Nr. 226

Unsere Wohnung am Meer hat freie Sicht auf den Strand / das Meer und die Inseln Kahoolawe und Molokini in der Ferne. Die Wohnung befindet sich in der Mitte der zweiten Etage des direkt am Meer gelegenen Plantagengebäudes im Sugar Beach Resort - in der Nähe von Treppen und Aufzügen. Wohnung hat tropische, hawaiianische Einrichtung.

Condo bietet Platz für maximal 2 Personen mit einem komfortablen Cal-King-Bett. (Kein Schlafsofa.)

Im September-Oktober 2018 bauten wir die Küche um (Granitoberflächen, aktualisierte Schränke, neues Sortiment) und entfernten alle vorhandenen Fußböden und verlegten Dielenböden in der gesamten Wohnung. Das Badezimmer wurde zuvor mit neuen Schränken, Granit, Beleuchtung usw. aktualisiert. Wir sind ständig bemüht, unsere Wohnung für unsere wiederkehrenden und erstmaligen Gäste in einem erstklassigen Zustand zu halten.

Der Strand ist etwa 20 Meter von der Veranda entfernt. Die Brandung ist normalerweise sanft und der palmengesäumte Sandstrand erstreckt sich über 5 1/2 Meilen und eignet sich hervorragend zum Strandwandern! Die Veranda - mit Blick auf den Strand - verfügt über einen Tisch, 2 Stühle und eine Chaiselongue, in der Sie sich entspannen und den atemberaubenden Strand- / Meerblick sowie die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge genießen können.

Unsere komplett eingerichtete Wohnung verfügt über: zentrale Klimaanlage; Geschirrspüler; Mikrowelle; neue Waschmaschine und Trockner (installiert 5/18); kostenloser Internetzugang; in der Wohnung sicher; Kabelfernsehen im Wohn- und Schlafzimmer; Blu-ray DVD; Stereoanlage mit CD und Bluetooth; Haartrockner. Plus kostenlose Ferngespräche in den USA und Kanada. Condo hat einen einfachen Zugang über Treppen und / oder Aufzüge.

Das Sugar Beach Resort befindet sich auf der sonnigen Südseite von Maui und ist etwa 20 bis 25 Minuten vom Flughafen Kahului entfernt. Das Resort verfügt über: ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze abseits der Straße, Aufzüge, einen großen beheizten Pool, einen Whirlpool, eine Innensauna, 6 Gasgrills mit Meerblick, ein kleines Putting Green und Dina's Sandwichladen.

Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich auch ein ausgezeichnetes Aktivitätszentrum (Maui Sights & Treasures), in dem Sie Reservierungen für Hubschrauberflüge, Seilrutschen, Segeln, eine Bootsfahrt zum Abendessen bei Sonnenuntergang, Radtouren nach Haleakala und das Mieten von Strandausrüstung vornehmen können. Plus Golfplätze, Restaurants, Märkte, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt.

Excellent apartment right on the water

This is an extremely well-maintained property that is in a typical older building right on the beach. The available space is very cleverly used and everything is labeled and in full working order. We loved hearing the wave crash and having to just step outside the property to walk on the beach go for a swim.

Just Loved It

The title says it all. Very clean ocean front condo directly facing the ocean. It's on the second floor so you will enjoy that people walking the beach aren't looking directly in. Comfortable Cal King bed. Everything is well labeled and easy to use. Excellent communication from the hosts, and they even sent recommended info on the area before the trip eliminating some of the pre-trip research. No joke that you can watch whales breaching in the distance from the lanai, I saw several. However, if you want to get close up of that action, there's several whale watching tours only 4 miles down the road. If you want miles of beach walking, this is the place. The hot tub and pool always seemed busy, and there are plenty of loungers around the pool and also on the lawn facing the ocean. Never had a problem finding a spot to relax. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with the condo itself, are the resorts BBQ grills. Though they are kept very clean, half of them wouldn't light. One day, none would light and we had to get a staff person to bring a long stem lighter to get one going. I would stay here again.

Great Maui Vacation

Turtle Beach Resort is in an ideal location with a calm, lovely beach and beautiful pool area. The unit itself was exactly as promised... providing very clean, comfortable accommodations and an absolutely beautiful view of the ocean. The owners were very helpful with suggestions about what to do and where to go and were an absolute pleasure to deal with.I would definitely stay there again and recommend it without hesitation.

Great home in paradise

We had an awesome stay at 226 Sugar Beach! Condo was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed plus more and was literally right on the ocean! We enjoyed breakfast every morning and ended our day sitting on the balcony listening to the waves crash! The bed was comfortable and there were many amenities to use that made the stay so wonderful. From a well stocked kitchen, a safe, starter supplies that were plentiful to beach supplies, we had everything we needed. Don’t hesitate to book this unit! You will have a fabulous time!

Wonderful Location

The condo was perfect for us! We had a direct view of the ocean and it was only steps away. We enjoyed mornings with the ocean breeze and listening to the waves. Hosts were great in checkin in! Shopping, dining and site seeing was all within 10-20 minutes away! Highly recommend!

Right on the beach

Second floor balcony a stones throw from the ocean with beautiful views with all glass wall/slider/screen to open it up to the entire unit. A peaceful low traffic white sand beach in both directions for unlimited walking. A clean well equipped unit. Easy short 20 minute drive from airport. Location to Maui Ocean Center/Aquarium and ocean excursions 10 minute drive. Restaurants and shopping are not in walking distance but a 10 to 25 minute drive.

Perfect Location, Beautiful Views!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was spotless on arrival and was stocked with everything you need to get settled. The bed is comfortable, there is a washer/drier and dishwasher, but the headline is THE VIEW! There is just nothing better than sitting on the balcony looking out over the beautiful blue ocean and listening to the sound of the waves (you can even spot some whales). If you can tear yourself away from the view, the location is perfect for exploring. Sugar Beach is right outside your window, Kihei is a 10 min drive away as is Maalaea harbor (many boat trips leave from here), and you are close to several beaches. Safeway and other shops are nearby. Check in/out was a breeze, and the hosts reached outa couple of times by text to check that everything was going well. 100% recommend this place if you want the ocean view and beachside location!

Great unit, great location

This accommodation is wonderful. Very clean, plenty of amenities, very comfortable, nice air conditioning. Incredible ocean/coastal view. Most of all, we appreciated that the unit is located right on a desirable section of beach. It is also very well-located relative to all of the fun things to do when exploring the island; other coastal towns seem to be further away from many of the island’s main day trips/hikes/destinations.

Oceanfront Paradise

Sugar Beach 226 is lovely, and we would happily stay there again! The space is well-appointed, beautiful and comfortable, and the lanai is wonderful for watching the crashing waves and the sunset. It’s within 15 minutes of all the shops and restaurants in Kihei as well. Communication with the owners was excellent and any minor issues were handled in very quick fashion. We highly recommend 226!

Great Condo

This condo is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, which made cooking some meals in pleasant. The condo/Lanai has an excellent ocean view and there is a nice beach right in front of the unit. Barbara was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions promptly, including restaurant and activity recommendations on the island. We plan to stay here again!

Best stay ever.

I've been to Sugar Beach Resort several times over the years. My favorite place to stay. This unit beats them all. Beautifully appointed. Clean and had everything you needed and more. The hosts are so organized and getting around and knowing what to do and how things worked was great. They were very communicative as well. Always prompt with answering queries. We went at the same time as the horrible fires in Lahaina and the upcountry. A dear friend was barely able to escape with her 2 kids and her car. She lost everything. We were so happy to be there to help her. A coincidental miracle for sure. Thanks for providing us a welcoming place to stay.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed at Sugar Beach #226 for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. The resort is located in a very convenient location, with epic ocean view. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made us feel welcomed. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with a private lanai overlooking the ocean. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and peaceful Hawaiian getaway.

Clean unit with Great up front Ocean View. Had a smoker next door and it was listed as a non smoking property. We complained to owner and management but nothing was done. Lots of notes all over the inside of the unit: drawers, shower, sliding glass doors, washer/dryer, etc. They really want you to know its their unit and follow their rules and guidelines. That put a little unneeded stress on our stay.

Wonderful beachfront Condo

This beautiful condo is centrally located in Kihei, which is close to everything. The condo was very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, chairs for sitting out at the beach and beach towels as well. Sitting out on the lanai each morning watching the ocean was my favorite place in the condo. Located on the second floor, it was easy to get to each afternoon when we got back from exploring the island. Will definitely be back!

Our Sugar Beach condo is not "just a rental" - it's our second home. Our permanent home is in the mountains of Arizona in the Old West town of Prescott. We are original Sugar Beach Resort owners (1977), and we love spending as much time there as we can. We love sitting on the lanai at breakfast and at sunset. During the day we are always outside enjoying the water, sun and walks on the beach. We can't seem to get enough of being there - even after 42+ years!

While visiting Maui with our two young daughters years ago, we saw Sugar Beach Resort before it was completed. We toured the facility, loved the beach, the amazing views and realized that this would be a great vacation home for us. The rest is history! SBR 226 has been our home-away-from-home for many years now and we are always eager to return to it.
