We stayed at SunSalt on Tybee Island for a girls’ weekend, and it was such a great spot! The house was beautiful—super clean, stylish, and exactly what we were hoping for. Our group included a few short-term rental owners and managers, and everyone was impressed with how well it was set up.The living space was perfect for hanging out, with plenty of comfy seating and big sliding doors that brought the outside in. The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and close to shops, restaurants, and rental spots for bikes and golf carts.The host was great with communication and very accommodating, especially when it came to storing our luggage.A few things to note for future guests: getting an Uber or Lyft off the island (like back to the airport) can be tricky, so it’s best to schedule one in advance. The house only had two bikes, which felt a little limited for a place that sleeps 10—definitely something to plan around. There weren’t any beach chairs available either, and while the decks are cute, they’re on the smaller side. We ended up opening the big sliding doors and using the living room as our main hangout spot, which actually worked out perfectly.Bonus: they offer great off-season rates, so it’s definitely worth considering if you’re planning a trip outside of peak summer months. We’d absolutely stay here again—with a few extras packed next time!
