Dishonest and Falsely Advertised Listing!
Booked this place for a private getaway with my girlfriend from city life and people for a weekend. Long after booking, I received a message from the host Reza just 1 day prior to arrival stating that his property manager would be there living onsite in the same building. This very important detail was not mentioned in the listing and had I been aware that I’d be sharing the property with a manager I would not have booked it at all. Reza failed to include this very important detail in the listing and waited until the day prior to our arrival to mention this (long after the date to cancel and receive a refund). I confronted him about how big of an issue this was and he remained firm that all of the necessary details about the property were communicated upfront (not true at all). He questioned my intentions staying at his place and asked that any further language racially and or threatening be avoided when there was nothing said insinuating either or. I quit communicating at this point. Needless to say my girlfriend and I did not even attend our stay. We both did not feel safe/ comfortable staying in a building with someone that was (for some odd reason) not communicated in the listing but mentioned via private chat only after having booked the place. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT BOOK HERE! Book a place with upfront details in its listing and a cooperative host that doesn’t cry wolf about threats and racism when called out for intentionally leaving out key details.
