This lovely townhome boasts 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds, perfect for a group getaway. With 4 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers and showers, your stay will be nothing short of pleasant. Enjoy amenities like Wi-Fi, AC, heating, an iron, and a washing machine. We look forward to hosting you at our place.
Leave your worries and hassles behind. When you arrive you'll find your vacation home waiting for you with items such as coffee, tea, sugar, herbs & spices, oil and vinegar in the pantry. Quality kitchen appliances including drip coffee maker, Keurig and espresso machine and tea kettle at your disposal. Linens, towels and all one would want in their own home.
Owners, Mark Sperling and Durk Van der Meer have joined together to build this lovely vacation home. Durk is an owner of the Whiteface Club Properties and Mark has been serving as CEO of the Whiteface Club & Resort for over 20 years and is committed to providing the finest in quality for not only our private home owners and their guests in both new home construction and recreational amenities. Our renters can be assured of a quality experience each and every time they visit.
While on vacation enjoy full Lake Access, gardens, tennis, golf, cross country skiing, two on campus restaurants, hiking trails, marina and a host of activities for all to enjoy! This new townhouse represents the latest in quality construction and provides plenty of space for large families, or two families.
The upper floor has a primary ensuite bedroom featuring a private deck to enjoy the mountain views. Two vanities, double wide shower, private commode and walk-in closet completes this room. An additional guest ensuite bedroom offers a queen bed and shower/tub combination. The main floor offers an additional ensuite king bedroom complete with double wide shower and walk-in closet. The kitchen, dining area and Great Room complete the main level with an open and airy design enhanced by a cathedral ceiling and gas fire place. The main floor includes a wide, wrap around deck to accommodate all guests needs including a gas BBQ, gas fire pit, outdoor bar and flowers and plants to create a welcoming exterior environment.
The lower level includes an oversize heated one car garage, ski/snow board racks, bedroom with two twin beds, full bath with double wide shower, family room complete with wet bar (we provide refreshments for our guests) and laundry room. We're furnishing it with a nostalgic oak table and chairs for games, comfortable sofa and wide screen tv with blue tooth stereo.

Zu Gast bei Mark Sperling

I (Mark Sperling) have been a resident of Lake Placid for over 25 years and have served as CEO of the Whiteface Club Companies for over 20. A North Country native I have owned and operated my own businesses and joined several local investors as well as an investment group from the Netherlands in 2004 to facilitate the upgrading, development and enhancement of this historical property with its roots dating back to the 1880's. I moved to Lake Placid as I'm an avid skier, boater and overall outdoor enthusiasts. As a certified PSIA Ski Instructor (retired) I enjoyed teaching skiing to literally hundreds of people for 20+ years. My love of gardens translated to the development of numerous gardens throughout this property which are highlighted by our lakeside gardens.

Having been responsible for the development and enhancement of the Whiteface Club & Resort I have grown to love it on a personal nature so much that I committed myself to the ownership of a vacation property along with one of our investors. This particular townhouse is a development which I started in 2020 and has been received favorably by families seeking a vacation home in the Adirondack's. The Whiteface Club offers golf, tennis, lake access, marina, cross country skiing, dining, gardens and more on its 500 or so acres.
The greater Lake Placid Community, a destination resort community, has a long history hosting two Winter Olympics (1932 and 1980), is home to training facilities for athletes from around the world and hosts numerous athletic events throughout the year.

We are very proud of the development and construction of our vacation home. We are customizing it with radiant floor heat in the lower level as well as all the bathrooms, hardwood floors, top to bottom with decorative area rugs atop and brand new furniture and beds throughout. I will be updating photos throughout the final stages of construction which we anticipated being completed as early as the end of February 2025 or March at the latest.
The quality that has been installed in the development of the Resort has been applied to both the construction of our townhome as well as its furnishings. We have furnished it with quality furniture and fixtures. We stock the pantry with herbs, oils and vinegars, coffee, tea, sugar and other sundry items to make your stay pleasant and hassle free. There are plenty of extra towels and linens for our guests use. We've installed soap/conditioner/shampoo dispensers in each shower as well as hair dryers for your personal convenience.
Our guests are assured of immediate service to any of their needs. We are only a phone call away. My office is in the main Club House and I'm readily available to answer questions and be of personal assistance should the need arrive during our guest visits.
Our guests will receive a complimentary waterfront membership to our private beach and waterfront for use during their stay. Our recreational amenities are open to the public and reservations can be made at our golf and tennis pro shops.
