Eine Woche vor der Ankunft wird eine Fotokopie Ihres Führerscheins zu Sicherheitszwecken auf unserem Grundstück benötigt. Wonderful stay!

Our family fell in love with not just the house, but the area! Very quiet neighborhood, quick walk (or golf-cart drive). The house was clean and spacious. We loved relaxing by the pool! Truly a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to return next year!

Family vacation

The property was perfect for our family, it was big enough that we all could have our own space. The pool and golf cart are a big plus! Definitely would stay here again. Ann was easy to get in touch with and very informative being that we were there during Tropical storm Debby.

Perfect house with all the amenities!

We loved staying at Dogwoog Dunes! It was very close to the beach, it had a golf cart that could be used if rented with the house, and a pool! It was on a quiet street, but close to so many shops and restaurants! We enjoyed our stay so much and would definitely stay again!

Family Christmas

The home was great for our family gathering. The furnishings are a little dated but nice and comfortable and the price has been adjusted accordingly (when comparing to other home rental pricing in the area for more updated furnishings.) But the home is very relaxing with lots of room for everyone to gather and hang out. The owner is very responsive. We had a minor had a minor issue with one of the toilets during our stay. We called the emergency number and it was fixed before we got back from breakfast.

Plenty of room and great location!

Great house for a family wanting to be close to everything you need. We enjoyed our week and the proximity to the beach. The golf cart was a plus! The property owners were great to work with and would definitely book this property again!

Love the location. The House was spacious enough to provide an adequate amount of privacy for the entire family. We traveled with an infant, a small child, our family doggy, 3 teens and 2 couples and still had enough space and privacy. The golf cart was a life saver for us with having an infant. 10/10 would definitely do it again.

5 Hokies come to Surfside :)

I stayed with 4 other family members for a week. There were a few hiccups with the initial check-in process due to the previous renters not leaving the keys. But Ann answered our call and got the issues resolved right away! Ann was courteous and efficient even though she was not in town when we reached out. We will definitely be staying again and hope to make this an annual occurrence! Will HIGHLY recommend her rental to others!

Convenient, pet-friendly home

Quiet location, walking distance to the beach and every bedroom had a bathroom, which was great. I forgot my bathing suit and Ann graciously mailed it back to me, communication with her was always quick. The golf cart was an added bonus and we enjoyed having it available. But Beware, you will get a $128.50 ticket from the Surfside police if you are driving it after dark. Overall, an enjoyable week, we would stay at Dogwood Dunes again.

Fabulous

We had a great 2 weeks. Plenty of room. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is really nice. Great location, close to the beach and an easy walk to restaurants. Golf cart is a blast and nice to have to haul beach stuff down to the beach! My only negative is that the sofa bed cannot be used to sleep anyone! It is unsleepable! Fortunately, we only needed it for one night, so they opted to sleep in a recliner. Would absolutely rent again.

Great week at the beach

Could not ask for more. The golf cart was a plus and the beach just a short walk away. We had a wonderful time and after beach time soaking up some sun we enjoyed the pool. Ann was quick to respond to any questions. Thank you so much for opening your home to us, we really enjoyed our stay.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The home is roomy and comfy. The kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen I have seen. Lots of silverware and utensils. It is close. to the beach. The golf cart is a plus too. We will be back!

Great Family Rental

We chose this house because it was pet friendly. It was so much more than that though. Very open and lots of space for family time in living room. Each bedroom had own bath plus a half bath for family that came for Thanksgiving dinner but not staying! Golf cart was an added bonus. The strip of Surfside restaurants were close and fun!

The house and pool were located well, however, the cleaning crew and inspector were "asleep at the wheel". The owner quickly stopped by and made arrangements for a rapid cleaning, but that took a couple of hours to complete. We did receive a day's rent refund for our troubles. Would i book with VRBO again? Maybe

Excellent family vacation stay

We were visiting SC for our april break. Two families and there was plenty of room for all. Bathrooms in each bedroom is a definite plus. Very close to the beach. Two minute walk. Close to restaurants shops and other attractions. Pool was an added benefit, refreshing and perfect size for the kids. Pool cleaning service came while we were there to treat but did not vacuum or net. Anne was a great host and fast communicator. No serious issues that needed to be addressed while we were there. I let Anne know on our departure of minor things that were not an inconvenience at all. Having the golfcart come with the property was a huge help and money saver. Would definitely recommend this gem, would stay again!

Great location, perfect for families

We had SUCH a great time at this rental. This was our first family vacation with our kids and this spot seemed to be too good to be true. We were here for a week with our four young kids. House was great - four bedrooms, each with a bathroom/shower and TV (we didn't need that, but it would give great personal space if you had another family with you). Main areas were large with lots of seating. Kitchen was large and pretty well stocked with the basics. The location was perfect. A block from beach access, some restaurants around, pretty close to a Walmart/Aldi and in a cute and quiet neighborhood (this was pre-season). The pool was small, but perfect for young kids (and a cool off dip for adults) with a little patio area. Some tips (all of these things are in the description, but for those of you who scour the reviews more than the description, here you are): make sure you note that you need to bring sheets for the beds (2 kings, 2 queens, 2 twin if using them all)- the golf cart is automatically included unless you say otherwise, so if you're not going to use it, make sure to let the owners know - you'll need to provide all household items (tp, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, all towels - beach, bath, kitchen). All that said, it's a great price, great location, great communication with owners, and well kept! We had an amazing time and hope to come back again for more family memories!
