Absolutely Fantastic

This place is absolutely awesome. We were so amazed how beautiful and comfortable the cottage is. Coming all the way from Germany we immediately felt comfortable and sort of like 'home'. Everything was perfect, the location right on the water, the beautiful nature that we enjoyed. We loved watching the manatees that came to the house and the pretty birds and even the little racoons that were unique to us. The house is perfectly equipped e.g. a great BBQ that we used frequently. Jackie and Jim provided us with great information on the best restaurants, stores etc. And yes, they were great :) Everything was so convenient in the house and Jackie and Jim were absolutely great hosts and a pleasure to deal with. We found everything needed ( insect repellent spray, wonderful BBC sauces, etc. ) Thank you so much Jim and Jackie. All rental equipment is in the close vicinity so we rented Jet Skis several times. From the deck we were able to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. Perfect vacation because of a perfect place. We will definitely come again. Thanks again, Anette, Achim, Andreas and Ilka from Germany

Delightful oasis

The cottage was roomy and super clean. There are several places to enjoy sitting outdoors and it was super easy to drop a kayak in and enjoy a paddle. The location couldn’t be more convenient, lots within walking and biking distance. Neighbors are around but the property is quite big and there are nice privacy barriers so while close to everything, it feels private. Jackie was lovely to work with, checked in and made sure everything was good at just the right times. This one is an easy decision, you’ll have a relaxed and delightful stay!

Perfect Islamorada Escape

Lorelai is a perfect getaway spot that radiates Florida Keys charm. Surprisingly spacious and cozy at the same time with great water views, front row seats to legendary sunsets and a short stroll to waterfront dining with live music most nights. Our host, Jackie, made the stay seamless and the house is well-stocked with everything you'd need to enjoy yourself. Islamorada is a convenient location for a keys road trip adventure - Key West is just a couple hours away and our day trip there was awesome!

Delightful cottage!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this delightful island cottage!! Location is perfect and private!! We enjoyed just sitting on the dock, watching the fish swim the canal, even saw a shark and sweet manatee!! Jackie was the kindest, most accommodating host. We would absolutely love to stay here again!! I would NOT recommend the Lorelei restaurant as they were rude and seemed hassled and annoyed to be there. However, I would HIGHLY recommend Papa Joes at little farther down…the service was the best we’ve experienced in the keys and the food equally as good!! Book this and stay as long as you can!!!

A Beautiful Islamorada Getaway

This property is as described. It is secluded and in close vicinity to shopping, restaurants and bars. The dock is well maintained & situated in such a way to be protective from boat wakes in Morada Bay. The house is adorable and very comfortable. The house is stocked with enough supplies that we didn't have to go buy the necessities. There were coffee pods, shampoo & body wash and laundry soap, etc. The host invited questions and conversation. We highly recommend and will rent again!!

Perfect Spot in the Keys!

Great communication with host. The location far exceeded our expectations and was in the heart of it all. The canal was crystal clear and made a perfect spot to spend winding down the day. I highly recommend this cozy house to anyone who wants to spend time in the fishing capitol of the keys.

30th Anniversary

My husband has wanted to fish Islamorada for years. We decided to celebrate our 30th and make his dream come true. This house was an absolute treat! We loved every minute of our time in Islamorada! This property is so convenient, quaint and comfortable. We just loved it! Jackie was wonderful to work with! We will be back!

Location, location, location…….this place has it all. The amazing sunsets, great location for walking to restaurants and breweries, convenient for groceries and the house was perfect for just the two of us. The moment we pulled into this property we were in love. Brightly painted murals cover one side of the house and the fence behind. A picnic table sits between the back door and fence, a covered sitting area on the water side of the house, a small water side sitting deck and a large fish cleaning station and boat docking platform.

Stunning property

What a beautiful property! The house is very clean and open. Location is perfect- within walking distance to Lorelei for great food and music and sunsets. We loved how we were tucked in by the mangroves and directly on the water. We got to see a lot of marine life - the neighbors had the hose out for a local manatee one morning. Amenities are fantastic (yes an actual quality kitchen knife and great cookware) and everything in the listing is accurate. Jackie was a fantastic host and helpful with any recommendations in the keys. Very responsive and very friendly. Highly recommend!

LOVE THIS PLACE

This is the 3rd year in a row that I have rented this property during the first 2 weeks in Dec. It has everything one could want in a vacation rental. Lovely, well appointed, immaculate cottage & surrounding property. Furnished deck on the water ( the perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails).. The location is private and far enough off the Overseas Hwy to afford a quiet & peaceful stay yet convenient to everything needed for a great VRBO vacay; close enough so that you can walk to numerous great restaurants, shops, evening entertainment & all kinds of water recreation as well as more of the same within a short Uber, Lyft or Freebee drive so you can virtually park your car for the duration of the stay. I can't say enough great things about this property and it's wonderful hosts and can't wait to return for my 4th visit.

Second visit is even better!

Relaxed and refreshed, we left this cottage after a second stay and both agreed that it was even better than the first visit. Everything we needed with plenty of space for the two of us. Very clean, well thought out, this cottage is a charming nod to old Florida with all of the modern amenities to make our week exactly what we needed. Jackie is a great communicator! A slice of the good life.

A very nice property tucked away from the main road . Great waterfront access for relaxing or boat activities . Many wonderfull restaurants within a short walking distance . A house with all the amenities you would expect . This rental is not one to be overlooked . We had a wonderfull time and hope to visit again !!!!

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I were looking for a perfect getaway down in the keys and she stumbled upon this location. We looked at the pictures and said it’s the one! We couldn’t have asked for more. It was our own little private oasis where we could just relax and be in peace but were also short distance to various activities. Best part was the shaded private drive as we walked to a local restaurant. We will be back!
