This cozy beach bungalow is in a PRIME location to enjoy the best of Sarasota! With a large fenced-in yard, and a firepit for a relaxing evening under the stars, we are here to help you have an amazing experience on AND off the beach! Situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, you are only a few minutes drive to enjoy all of downtown Sarasota, 10 minutes to Siesta key beach, and Walkable to Trader Joe's, many restaurants and stores.
We have just made some upgrades & updates to the bungalow including new furniture in small interior living room, super soft hotel-style sheets, & bedding. The bathroom was remodeled with a new vanity & sink, fixtures, cabinets, and a spacious walk in shower, plus new hotel-style bath towels & mats. Lastly, the screened-in carport was converted into a sunroom with vinyl windows instead of screens / outdoor-style, living room that is now under air with a portable A/C unit. These updates now allow up to 6 guests sleep here!
Centrally located a short distance from SRQ Airport off Tamiami Trail on a cul-de-sac street and close distance to restaurants, groceries, downtown Sarasota, and Siesta Key Beach, you can experience effortless check-in with new Schlage smart locks on the front door. Door codes will automatically get sent to you on your day of arrival along with a Guest & House manual with directions to the property. Helpful information to provide you with details on grocery stores, restaurants, shops and nightlife is sent to electronically via email.
When you walk through the door at self-check-in, you enter the foyer & dining area where a console table greets you with a Guest & House Rules manual along with WIFI instructions for you to reference during your stay.
The dining room features a high-top table offer seating for 4. In the newly designed living room, a blue velvet futon sofa bed (Sleeps 1-2), coffee table with pop-up workstation, 2 blue velvet side chairs, room darkening shades, side tables and a large streaming Tv is mounted on the wall to enjoy your shows or have a movie night while lounging on the sofa after a long day playing in the sun on the soft white sand at Siesta Key Beach!
The main bedroom is located near the back of the unit next to the bathroom. This bright and airy yet cozy bedroom features a new queen size bed and frame, super soft hotel-style sheets & bedding, a single nightstand and lamp, with room darkening curtains and window shades to help you sleep in if needed.
The kitchen features an electric oven & range, microwave, toaster oven, coffee bar with Keurig coffee maker, k-cup pods, 5- cup drip machine, and fresh ground coffee from our favorite local St Pete coffee company, Kahwa. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, plates, bowls, and all the essential items needed to cook a meal at home or prep for the beach. In the cabinets above the oven, you will find it nicely stocked with spices, oils, and some snacks and pantry staples including some breakfast items should you need them.
The newly remodeled sunroom or outdoor-style living room, that used to be a screened in carport, has now been fitted with vinyl windows to replace the screens, and the room is fully enclosed and insulated with a portable air conditioner to keep in cool and comfortable. A sofa (with pull-out bed featuring a brand new memory foam mattress that sleeps 1-2), 2 side chairs, coffee table and 2 side tables sit on an Astro-turf rug and the room has room-darkening curtains to help with keeping the room dark for watching movies on the new 40in streaming TV or for sleeping in if a guest sleeps out there.
The newly remodeled bathroom has a linen closet next to it with extra bath and beach towels.
Speaking of heading to the beach! We also provide beach chairs for 2, a beach umbrella, beach bag tote and an ice chest tote for you to enjoy a day at the beach, whether it's World-famous Siesta Key Beach, Lido Beach, Longboat, Beer Can Island or Anna Maria Islands, Holmes Beach & Bean Point!
The front yard of the duplex features a yard divider to separate the space, offering privacy for your group. There is outdoor seating for 4 with an umbrella, and landscape lighting for ambience.
In the shared backyard, we have a propane gas BBQ grill, and a fire-pit with chairs for you to use. You can have a BBQ and make smores at dusk to end the day!
The backyard is fully fenced in with new pet gates installed on each side of the house.
Parking spots are assigned with signage for the Nottingham Beach Bungalow and the other 2 units. There is Parking for 2 cars in the right side driveway during your stay.
The house is a duplex, the side you are enjoying is 1839, the other side is 1837. The backyard is shared with other guests (firepit, grill), but most of our guests spend their time out enjoying the beach and Sarasota!

**We can sometimes accommodate early baggage drop-off for a $50 fee or you can utilize local baggage storage (inquire for details and we can send a link to you)
**If an early check-in is wanted, inquire with us to see if we can accommodate you. If there are no same-day guests check-outs, we may be able to arrange early check-in for an additional tiered fee depending on how many hours earlier the check-in is. The same applies for a Late checkout.

Please don't keep windows without screens or doors open too long as you nay inadvertently let some inside. Should you come across any pests during your stay, please make us aware so we can address the situation. While it's rare to come across these pests inside, a refund will not be offered for the occasional occurrence. We always want you to be comfortable during your stay and you will find that we act quickly and with compassion to resolve any issues you have. We just need to be aware of it in order to resolve anything. ***
