Beautiful house!

It is a lovely house, we made good use of the pool and hot tub. We should have used the fire pit more often, it was really nice the one night that we did. There were things nearby to do, such as zip lining and a day trip to pittsburgh.

Mountain Hideaway

This house is exactly as it is portrayed. Beautiful views, spacious enough for everyone and plenty to do. My mother-in-law uses a walker and after helping her up the outside steps, she was able to stay on the main floor with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, etc! We loved out stay and highly recomend this house!

All around 10/10!! Great for group of family/friends. Huge TV room and couch great for hanging out. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was awesome. Don’t think just book!

Perfect Family Getaway

The check in and check out process is very easy. The property manager is very quick to respond. Maintenance was very nice and helpful. We noticed a couple things when coming in the home and made the property manager aware of it and we received a call from maintenance within a couple hours. The location was perfect and had an amazing view! The only downside was the Wi-Fi didn’t really work but overall it was a great vacation home and we would love to return!

The location was convenient for our stay. The host: easy access, communication. As for the property itself. We loved the decks, kitchen, hot tub and pool. Downsides were the road and parking as the road was full of major ruts. We had two cars damaged and will have a few thousand in repairs! Seriously, a load of gravel to fill the holes and ruts would fix this - major oversight. The game room the hockey table was useless. There are five massaging recliners, but only one power plug. Also, sleeps 22, but that is REALLY stretching the sleeping capacity of the place. We had 14 and that seemed the real sleeping capacity and that was with two people on couches.

There were some concerns:The 3rd floor bathroom in the hallway had a horrible black mold problem. It is all over the wall and the ceiling above the shower. We did not want to use that bathroom at all, but had to. The toilet was repaired during our stay (someone had tried to fix it previously with duct tape) as well as the shower head that fell off. There was a miscommunication with maintenance and had to wait 8 hours to get the shower and toilet repaired.The first floor shower was not even hooked up.Many doors are difficult to close.The 2nd floor bathroom toilet would run. the inside of the tank has a shoestring holding together the float.Shelves are missing from the refrigerator door.The oven takes an hour to heat up. The door does not close all of the way unless forced.The staff that answered our calls regarding maintenance issues were friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff was also very courteous and addressed problems that could be taken care of.

Christmas Cabin Get Away and Retreat

View was awesome. Hot tub, fire pit and large, open living room / dining space is amazing. We had 15 adults and kids for Christmas and were able to all be together. The host had it beautifully decorated for Christmas with a tree and it was lovely!! I Oven, microwave and coffee maker all worked and were great. We enjoyed the wrap around deck too and hiked up the hill in back with the kids. The table fit all us and Plates, bowls and even cooking dishes were plentiful. (They were a little low on forks and since we had 15 people, we were handing washing forks. But plenty of spoons and knives. ). This was a great space for all of us to enjoy a very special Christmas with extended family. It brings people together and yet you still have some ruggedness with the outdoor feel. Highly recommend it.

Reviewer Comments: Space was perfect for our family of 15 plus 1 baby. dishwasher was great, and views were amazing. also , seating on the deck was perfect. Now on to the negatives, alot of the mattress's needs replaced, cover for filter in hot tub was off and the bolts were rusted off. Half the jets did'nt work. The grill was in horrible shape, it needs replaced with a gas grill. hole in the basement bedroom wall, and suspended ceiling was coming down in game room. Main floor bedroom door is falling apart, it would not shut. master bath needs toilet paper roll replaced. also, for the amount of people that can stay there you need another bathroom.

Adult Weekend Getaway!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had our wedding at OVR Timber Ridge. As a promotion we were gifted a house for the weekend with the release of our wedding photos! It was so nice to be able to get something back! You won’t find that at any other “venue”. We used our weekend for a much needed adult weekend with 3 other couples and relaxed the weekend away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband's family stayed at Laurel View Retreat for a weekend. The lane is rather rough,but the view from the house is beautiful. The main parts of the house were clean. Carpets were swept in the middle, but around the edges you could see some dirt. Kitchen counters were clean, but other surfaces were dusty. Nothing that ruined our stay. The layout of the house was great for our group. It would have been nice to have another refrigerator. We had a really great weekend and would definitely consider going back.
