Charming 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Guest House in Jackson Hole
Our cozy guest house in Jackson offers two bedrooms with queen beds. WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine and dryer let guests have the feel of living at home. Our property is the ideal for a month-long ski vacation and to also enjoy all that the town of Jackson has to offer. We like hosting because we enjoy meeting new people, on their terms, and it also lets us keep it open for our own family and friends to visit.
A little bit about Game Creek:
Game Creek in Jackson, Wyoming, is located in the South Park basin, the southern extension of Jackson Hole, between the Teton Range and the Gros Venture Range. Game Creek refers to both a stream and a trail, with the stream being a tributary of the Snake River. The trail is a popular hiking and biking route and is part of the Cache/Game Creek loop.
Game Creek Trail Characteristics include:
The trail begins by following an old road along the creek. It is considered intermediate in difficulty. It offers views of open slopes, willow and pine forests, songbirds, beaver dams, and wildflowers. The trail is 13.8 miles long with an elevation gain/loss of 500’. The trailhead has a small paved parking area and a smaller dirt parking area. In the winter, the road is groomed for cross-country skiing. Snowmobiles are also allowed on the trail. The trail is groomed twice a week and is suitable for skate skiing.
Hot Springs close to us:
Just 9 miles away is Astoria Hot Springs. Stewarded by Astoria Park Conservancy, Astoria Hot Springs features six different man-made soaking pools filled with natural thermal waters, which are controlled at different temperatures in each pool. Situated within Astoria Park and along the banks of the Snake River, Astoria Hot Springs is one of Jackson Hole’s most unique outdoor experiences and family-friendly activities.

Granite Hot Springs: Just 27 miles from Game Creek or about a 45 minute drive.
The Granite Hot Springs Pool is located at the end of the Granite Creek Road, south of Jackson, Wyoming off of Highway 189. It is a developed, concrete hot spring pool situated alongside Granite Creek amongst huge spruce, fir and pine forest. A fee is charged for soaking in the springs, and it can be accessed during the winter months on snowmobile, dog sled, skiing, or fat biking. Facilities include a bathroom, picnic tables, and several informational kiosks. No potable water is available, and no alcohol is allowed in the hot springs. The parking area can accommodate trailers, but road can be rough in inclement weather. No cellular service is available. Driving time from Jackson is approximately 1 hour.
The Granite Hot Springs Pool is located at the end of the Granite Creek Road and is situated just above Granite Creek Falls. If you aren't camping in the area, be prepared for a long scenic drive to the pool on a bumpy dirt road. During the winter months the hot springs are accessible only via snowmobile, dog sled, skiing and via fat biking. No alcohol is allowed in the pool area to protect public safety, prevent drinking and driving, and preserve the family-friendly character of this special place. Please respect the no alcohol rule and plan accordingly.
There are two different seasons when the hot springs are open, summer & winter....
Summer season usually opens late May and ends October 31st. In the spring, make sure to call ahead to confirm they are open, as late snow melt-off can delay the road opening sometimes up to two weeks. Operating hours during the summer are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. After Labor Day hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The winter season runs from early December until the end of March. Operating hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily until mid-February when it changes to 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. until the closing date. During the winter months the hot springs are accessible only via snowmobile, dog sled, skiing and via fat biking.
Closest Grocery Stores:
Smiths, in town, is 8 minutes from Game Creek Road with about another 5 minutes up to our home.
Hoback Market is about the same, 6 miles from Game Creek Road with about another 5 minutes up to our home, and it is south of us on your way to Astoria Springs.
Restaurants:
My favorite restaurant splurge is Orsetto and Local.
Best sushi is King Sushi.
Atelier Ortega on Scott Lane has fabulous pastries and the Scott Lane location is a bit of a secret to visitors. Oscar is recognized globally with his latest achievement being a nominee for the prestigious James Beard Awards in the category of Outstanding Bakery Chef of 2025. Don't miss!
Persephone is wonderful for breakfast, but a bit crowed in the winter. They have outdoor seating in the summer. The Persephone in Wilson has much more indoor seating.
Best BBQ is Hole BBQ.
Great Mexican, super fresh, is Picas.
Bin 22 is worth a visit!
Creekside Deli makes amazing sandwiches and is on your way up to the park.
