Located just a 2 short block walk to legendary "WindanSea" Beach is our La Jolla WindanSea Beach home. The home was recently remodeled and is in excellent condition from the cleanliness of the property to the quality, upkeep, and condition from the appliances to the bedding, furniture, and linens! We always ensure the upkeep of our home and its furnishings!
Our two-bedroom, two-bath air conditioned and heated home has bedrooms located on opposite sides of the property which makes for a quiet peaceful night’s sleep. There are 2 beds and sleeps 4. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room that sleeps 2 additional staying guests or if your party of 4 needs a 3rd bed for an additional 1-2 guests. Please inquire.
Located just a short stroll down the street to world famous "WindanSea Beach", you’ll enjoy being able to just stroll down the block and not have to spend time looking for the elusive beach parking!


Our ultra-clean home interior features new furniture, kitchen appliances and cabinets, bedding, 16" thick pillow-topped premium mattresses double encased, linens and bathrooms.

MASTER BEDROOM:
Private en-suite bath with walk in shower, New California King Plush 16 inch thick Stearns and Foster pillow top mattress in the 15 ft. vaulted ceiling with large ceiling fan 8 ft. above bed and new 47" wall mounted Smart flat screen at foot of bed and a private patio just outside the Master bedroom for evening or morning conversations.

SECOND LOFT SYLE BEDROOM
Located at the other end of the property is on the 2nd level upstairs, it is a loft style bedroom and requires climbing loft style stairs.
The loft bedroom is Air conditioned and overlooks the Living Room but is super private and on the opposite side of the house from the Master bedroom. Kids love our Loft Bedroom.! There is all new bedding. New Queen Size Plush Stearns and Foster 16" thick ultra-comfortable pillow top mattress in the beautiful and large private loft style second bedroom.
Just at the bottom of the loft stairs is the full size laundry room and a 2nd full bathroom with tub style shower with frameless shower glass door.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is a pass-through galley type accessible from the master bedroom suite and opposite end living room and along with a fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances you'll need to prepare your meals.

Dishwasher, Fridge, freezer, wall mounted full size Microwave above natural gas stove\oven, Blender, Automatic coffee pot, coffee grinder, tea pot, all kitchen utensils and eatery.

LIVINGROOM:

Living room has 15' vaulted wood ceiling with large ceiling fan, a Queen size sleeper sofa for 5th and 6th guest provides additional sleeping space for (2), a leather recliner rocker chair, a 65" wall mounted smart Flat Screen TV, with FULL PREMIUM channel cable package (HBO, STARZ, SHOWTIME, CINEMAX, MGM), access to your Netflix account, and High-Speed 5G MESH Wi-Fi 6 internet.

OUR COTTAGE HOME HAS PRIVATE OFF STREET DRIVEWAY PARKING AT YOUR DOOR FOR ONE VEHICLE. RARE IN LA JOLLA!

• Our home is located in an ultra-quiet family-occupied residential neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter Non-late night groups. Our rental Terms and Conditions includes a no-tolerance policy regarding excessive noise or complaints, Over Occupancy, Parties, Events, or Celebrations of any kind. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please be sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with us.
• Smoking is NOT permitted on the premises boundary (from where our driveway meets the street). This includes outside areas. Marijuana is NOT permitted to be Transported, Smoked or Stored on the property boundary. ZERO TOLERANCE EVICTION VIOLATION.
• Please note the loft bedroom requires climbing slightly steeper loft style stairs.
• Please note this home is a NO pet home. Pets, emotional support animals are NOT PERMITTED nor are visitor’s pets or their Service Animals.
• Check-in time is 4:00 PM - Check-out is 10:00 AM.
• Quiet Time begins at 8:00 PM until 7:00 AM. Guests must turn off all external music playing devices and ensure conversations, laughter cannot cause disturbance to neighbors.
• “Mandatory San Diego Vacation Rental Property Ordinance Policy"- Guests must Vacate all outdoor areas by 9:30 PM and move inside for the remainder of the night. No Exceptions.
• Our home has a maximum occupancy of SIX (6) that includes day visitors Max number of people on property may not exceed SIX (6) staying guests and day visitors combined.
• NO PARTIES, CELEBRATIONS, EVENTS, visitor dinner gatherings. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• The entry to the home is secured by a front door smart lock. Prior to your arrival (within 24 hrs.) you will receive an email or message in the VRBO app with your unique smart lock access code that will begin to function at your scheduled check in time.
• During your stay you will have exclusive access to the entire interior of house, as well as the patio areas. However, the rear area behind the house (rear of BBQ area) is gated and locked and you will not have access to this area. A small locked cabinet in entrance hall is not guest accessible.
• RATES subject to change without notice. Inquiry rates are not a guarantee until reservation has been booked and paid.
• Long term +30 nights additional security deposit required. Long term cleaning fee $450.
Please ensure you are comfortable complying with this prior to renting with us.
• Our home has ONE security camera on the property and it is outside viewing the driveway entrance.

First time visit to San Diego
We loved our stay at Roland’s place. Location is great. We walked to farmers market, Beach and many local restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked. It was great to have 2 bathrooms for the 2 of us. Most importantly we slept better than we did at home. The beds were very comfortable. Having a dedicated parking space was an added bonus. Roland was very responsive when we messaged him thru the app. wish the weather had been a bit warmer so we could have taken advantage of the nice outdoor space. We did use the grill for a delicious dinner.

We were in the area to drop my son off for school and this offered us a great location to stay with beach and restaurants just a short walk away. We loved the nearby bagel shop and cafes. The loft bedroom does have a steep staircase so may not be ideal for all visitors. We would definitely stay again.

Fun in La Jolla
We thoroughly enjoyed this sweet property in La Jolla. Close to the beach and even walked into town! It was an adorable house with a fabulous patio area for conversation or eating. The private master with separate little patio was perfect. My girls loved the loft bedroom and we had a great time. Comfy beds and all the amenities we needed. Our first visit to La Jolla & San Diego area. This rental was perfect for 2 couples. Very clean & comfortable. Outdoor patio & gas firechat table were great for morning coffee & evening conversation. Kitchen is tight but perfectly functional. Cabinets are stocked with everything you need for meal prep. Main bedroom is on first floor, 2nd loft bedroom is accessed via some narrow, steep steps off Living Rm. Neighborhood is very nice & safe, well-kept homes. Approx 1/2 mile, 10 min stroll to beach. Valley Farm market/grocery is only 1/4 mile, 5 min walk for fresh food & beverage. Excellent restaurants nearby. Roland our host was very accommodating & flexible, great communication. Would definitely stay again.

Adorable, comfortable bungalow a short walk from a stunning beach
We stayed in the house for almost 2 weeks. It is extremely comfortable, clean, and well-organized. Well-stocked kitchen, brand new washer and dryer, and a beautiful large patio off the living room. The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with a nice park, access to bike path, and is about a 10 minute walk to a gorgeous beach. The view of the Pacific just never gets old. I was comfortable walking and running all over the area. There are lots of restaurants and shopping within a mile of house. El Pescador, The Promiscuous Fork, and Breakfast Republic were all great. Don’t miss Wayfarer Bread and Pastry, which is about 2 miles away. It’s so good people wait in line. The owner responded very quickly to questions and was extremely kind and thoughtful. My husband was recuperating from a bad bike accident during our stay and the owner went out of his way to check in on us, offer help, and see if we needed anything. Very much appreciated. Adorable, comfortable house in a beautiful beach town. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our multi-week stay. The property was very clean and functional and the owner was very responsive. It is a great location and neighborhood with easy access to the beaches, restaurants, and other attractions. Very nice outdoor patio with fireplace table and grill which we didnt use as much as would have liked due to the weather. One negative is the living room seemed much smaller than in the pictures.

Property is in close proximity to beach, downtown LaJolla and tennis courts at local HS. Property is “cozy” but well maintained, clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Brand new washer and dryer worked great. Roland, owner, was available for concerns and questions if necessary. Our teenage daughter loved the loft area. The booking process was a little more extensive than others I’ve stayed in, but it was worth it. Cozy little home that was perfect for my husband and child under 2. Short stay in La Jolla
Meeting with our son who was visiting from his home in Europe this was just right for walks to the beach and restaurant, easy drive to other surf beaches. Patios provided nice outdoor space in evenings.

Perfect Beach Stay/Cozy Cottage
Loved our recent stay at this cozy beach cottage in a wonderful Windansea neighborhood in La Jolla. Home was extremely clean, incredibly comfortable bedding and great that there were 2 beautiful shower/bathrooms! Loved the location just blocks away from the beach where we walked every morning and evening. A few great restaurants within walking distance and an amazing market with healthy premade food, as well as groceries. Beautiful neighborhood and very friendly neighbors that welcomed us to the neighborhood! Nice quiet patio with great seating for both eating, as well as a fire table.

The PERFECT family getaway!
This home was perfect for our family of four (two adults and two toddlers). The location is in a quiet neighborhood with close access to food and activities. The home is very clean and includes eveything we needed for a short home away from home. The owner of the property was very fast to answer all of my questions. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would definitely come back!

Floral paradise by the beach
This house was very comfortable for our family. I appreciated how there were enough shelves and drawers to accommodate our clothes & toiletries for the week. Pans & knives were good quality to actually cook with. The patio was very comfortable to have our meals and relax in. But my favorite part of our stay was walking the neighborhood and enjoying the amazing flowers & succulents in the area. There was jasmine growing next door, so it smelled amazing too. Hummingbirds, mockingbirds, warblers, and parrots all made appearances. And it was a very easy walk to the beach. The provided beach chairs were appreciated. I’d recommend bringing a beach bag & water bottles to take with you.
