So, first of all, I realize a cleaning service is hired to take care of this unit after each guest checks out. All I can say is...whatever the owner is paying them, it's too much. I have a cleaning business, and there are many things being overlooked. There was a layer of dust so thick on the top trim of every doorway, that I was able to see it from several feet away (and my eye sight ain't what it used to be). Also, the fan and blades were covered in dust. Enough that it would have taken several months to accumulate. I also had to change the AC filter when we arrived. It was blinking on the thermastadt and it wasn't cooling properly. It might cut down on the dust, if someone would just check on that periodically...just sayin'. There was also some damage to the front entry door that had occurred the previous week, and it was not fixed properly. The door facing basically fell apart on our first full day there. It may have been the COVID situation that was delaying a proper repair, but still an inconvenience and interruption in our vacation. They put a bandaid on it, just like the first half-arse fix, and it was never repaired correctly, or replaced before we left. We were there 6 nights. I'm sure the next renters had to deal with the same issue. I can say, the owner was very apologetic, and answered any communication promptly. I do feel they were having a difficult time getting repair people to follow through. Overall, we still had a wonderful time. The complex is safe, and very family oriented. And the beach was beautiful, and the water was clear! And that's what we came for anyway.
