Our newly remodeled three bedroom, two full bath house sleeps six with a walk in shower and bathtub. This peaceful property backs up to over 70,000 acres of state park land. We have free Wifi, AC and a large screen TV in living room.

We are conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants as the house is only 4 miles from Interstate 68.

Rocky Gap Resort, Casino, and Golf is 2 miles away; where you can enjoy swimming, walking, biking and kayaking around Lake Habeeb.

Our property is only an 8 mile drive to The C & O Canal Towpath which is a popular recreational trail that runs 184.5 miles to Georgetown.

The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad – 8 miles away (enjoy the Polar Express Train ride in the winter).

We hope you can come experience the “mountain feel” this property has to offer.

Booking guest must be 25 or older. Children and animals are not allowed at this time. To enhance safety and security, we require a copy of each guest drivers license, prior to their booking. This is to reduce the risk of fraudulent bookings and potential property damage. Only those adults are welcome on property during rental period unless an exception is made prior to booking by host.

Please have a copy of front of driver's license of *each individual* guest coming, to copy and paste to host, through VRBO app, when placing a reservation request.

We do not allow smoking or vaping anywhere on the property; *inside or outside*. Parties are not allowed at this time.

Pictures of house condition are taken before each guest arrives. Guest will be required to pay for any damage they cause to property during their stay.

For your safety, outdoor security cameras are in use on property.

Only two vehicles are allowed on property during stay. Additional vehicles need to be approved.

No charging your vehicle from house electric at any time, for any reason.

Due to allergy concerns, no smoking/vaping or animals of any kind are allowed on property.

Quiet hours are from dusk to dawn. Guest are not allowed to operate ATV's or dirt bikes on property. Drugs and intoxication will not be tolerated.

All linens and towels are washed in free and clear detergents which are unscented and hypoallergenic.

The kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances and cookware should you wish to make your meals.
A reverse osmosis water system has also been installed.

To avoid toxin exposure, our new comfortable furniture is not coated with stain resistant spray, therefore, we request all eating be done at tables.

Several hens may free range periodically. There are no roosters on the property.

Do not drive or walk past the house, as that area is NOT part of this rental.

Park near the sign that says house parking and please do not block driveway you entered on.

Caretakers frequent property and may enter basement to tend to woodstove or utilities if needed. Basement of house is not part of this rental and is locked from main floor of house.

Capable help is close by should you need it, just reach out through the app.

This property backs up to over 70,000 acres of forest and the red buds are beautiful in Spring. During winter the snow blankets the hills like 10 x sugar. Here are a few things to keep in mind while booking a winter wonderland adventure to our place during snowy months:

-the state highway does a good job keeping Interstate 68 and Rt. 220 pretty clear during snow

-our gravel driveway will be plowed before and during your stay if there is snow

-you have to make a sharp left turn to enter the driveway which has a small climb before leveling out, 4 wheel drive probably needed if snow is on the ground

-if your shoes/boots are muddy, wet or snowy please remove them on front porch or just inside the door so we can keep house tidy for all
