The history of Villa Tauber begins in 1909, when the great-grandfather and namesake of the house, a councilor from Vienna, married a young woman from the village and had this house built as their summer home. The nearby spring was undoubtedly one of the reasons for settling there in the summer.
This historic, lovingly furnished and in 2023 renovated house has a stone foundation and is built entirely of wood. It can accommodate up to 8 people. On the ground floor is a kitchen (with oven, dishwasher, large fridge and a wood burning stove), a dining room, a living room, an open covered veranda, a close veranda, a WC (3 in total) and a laundry room with washing machine. The four bedrooms and a a spacious bathroom with bath, shower, and underfloor heating are on the upper floor. Three of the bedrooms have a sink, one bedroom has a bathtub and balcony.
The house has a beautiful garden and its own spring and a well
The idyllic location on the forest's edge above a babbling brook ensures absolute peace and relaxation. Here you can enjoy the solitude and nature around you.
It is truly a retreat for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and is also a beautiful piece of history
