Beautiful condo, gorgeous location

Our family of six had a wonderful week here. Close to everything, but nice and private. Owners were very responsive in all our needs, even recommended a couple of wonderful places to eat. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Great, Quiet, Peaceful

The condo is amazing. Karyn, the owner is superior! We had a problem with hot water and she replaced it with a fantastic new unit---hot water and great pressure. The place is really superior. The master bedroom is great with the sliding door open at night; see the stars over the jungle; in the morning hear the birds. Kitchen is great too. The whole community is so nice, with nice people and really well maintained. Loved our 2 months there. Sorry we had to leave early due to coronavirus, but maybe another time.

Lovely property, beautiful condo

This condo is fantastic! It is elegantly decorated, and made our stay in Mexico quite lovely. The owner is super responsive and helpful! The condo, entire complex and grounds were immaculate. The only downside was sleep arrangements. It says sleeps 6, but there is are 2 queens and a sofa, which does not pull out. The family pool at Tao is great; the other two pools on the property are single lane lap pools. The workout room was great, allowing us to exercise while away. We definitely found a car essential to explore the area.

Very tranquil

The TAO complex was wonderful. The buildings and pool are nestled in a jungle setting. The Wellness center was great too. It was carved into the jungle just a short walk from the complex. The lap pool was very cool and theres a great little cafe there too. The condo was beautiful. The pics don’t it justice. Everything thing you could need and very tastefully decorated. The resorts you can acess had awesome pools. We spent quite a bit of time in Akumal at restaurants and on the beach. Don’t miss a restaurant called La Lunita while you’re there. Everywhere we went people were incredibly nice and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay at Paradise Blue!

My family of four had a wonderful stay at Paradise Blue! The condo is beautifully decorated in every room and well appointed with everything you could need. Private and quiet as well, we slept great ever night. It was convenient having the kitchen for morning breakfasts with the kids and the kitchen was well stocked. We rented a car so we went to Akumal Bay and the Tulum ruins, town and beach. We loved trying all of the great restaurants Akumal and Tulum have to offer and after a full day at the beach and in the sun (we had perfect weather) it was relaxing to return to our home away from home at Paradise Blue and relax at the condo pool or upstairs on the penthouse roof. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this condo to a family, 2 couples, girl's getaway or a romantic vacation for two. It's about as close to perfect as you'll find!

What A Perfect Spot for a Family Vacation!

My husband and I met up with two of our "grown and gone" daughters for a week's vacation in Mexico and were delighted to stay in Karyn's lovely condo! We did exhaustive research before choosing to stay in the Tao Community and I must say that the entire experience exceeded our expectations! The condo itself was beautiful, well appointed and ideally located and the service and attention provided by Fernando and company was first-rate. We also appreciated the advanced communication from Karyn, including recommendations for car rental, restaurants, grocery stores and activities in the area, as well as guidance around money (bring pesos with you!) and other helpful logistics. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that I would highly recommend this property to any/everyone--perfect for a group of four! Thanks so much!

A perfect getaway (and marriage!)

My husband and I spent two weeks (January 24-February 7, 2018), quietly celebrating our 56th anniversary, at this fabulous penthouse. The attention given to details by both the owner and the manager, Fernando Franco, made our stay unforgettable. All of our evening meals, and many lunches, were spent exploring the restaurants in Tulum, Akumal, Playa del Carmen and at two hotels on the enormous Bahia Principe property. A car was a must for us because we traveled often to restaurants, neighboring towns and the Tulum ruins. Our favorite restaurants at Bahia Principe were the buffet (for breakfast), the Alux and Maiko restaurants at the Sian Ka'an Hotel and the Arlequin restaurant at the Akumal Hotel. We highly recommend breakfasts and lunches at the Cilantro Restaurant (at the Coral Hotel), Mateo's, and the Tunich Restaurant in Tulum. La Lunita at Akumal serves the world's best, most succulent grilled lobster (caught in nearby Tulum by local divers)and we had two evening meals there. The sunset views from our beachside table were breath-taking! One of our favorite meals was served at Oscar y Lalo's, just off Highway 307 and south of Bahia Principe. The curbside view is quite deceiving, but we always noticed several cars parked outside. One step through the entrance brought us to a beautifully landscaped restaurant under an open sky. The lighting, background music, and the natural setting created a perfect, romantic ambience. The service was impeccable and the coconut shrimp and broiled shrimp with mango sauce were prepared perfectly. However, the most wonderful part of our "56th Honeymoon" was the beautifully designed and furnished Paradise Blue, a quiet retreat in a lush, tropical setting. Que' romantica!

Nice for Yoga and Proximation to Akumal Half Moon Bay

My typical vacation is a VRBO or AirBnB unit in Tulum. This time I focused on a more resort-style feel due to another couple that had not been to Mexico recently. The unit is exactly as pictured. The two bedrooms are on the first floor separated by the bathrooms which affords privacy for two couples. The rooftop really doubles the space size and offers more separation for guests. The furnishings and extra touches like really nice towels, mattresses, lighting, televisions, closet systems, water dispenser, and the washer and dryer stocked with washing pods and even sunscreen etc.... made this so easy to live in automatically. It is surrounded by colorful birds that like to fly in for a visit while you hang on the hammock. The owner Karyn’s communication was virtually instant and spot-on. The unit is in a development that has maintained a jungle like environment but set in a more American looking overall golf community that includes private houses, other condo developments, and more hotel-like settings. The development is expansive and has a wealthy feel to it with people running around in golf carts etc… All of the guards and ground staff and at the clubhouse...everyone was nice and always had a buenos dias, tardes, or noches for you to feel welcome. And you definitely felt secure on the grounds. I only got to yoga once in 5 days because of our hefty schedule. The wellness center is a 5-minute walk. Classes are in English. Stop by the center on Day 1 to get the morning schedule. The classes are free in the morning. I don’t golf but even I was interested in the course. It is just gorgeous. We spent time in Coba, Akumal, Cozumel, and Playa- it is close to all. So in recap- Paradise Blue is a great jumping off point. I guess you could spend your time on resort but then I feel other all-inclusive resorts would make more sense. If you like Akumal but want a bigger setting, or want a nice yoga center, or want a golf community, or are thinking about investing in a condo…..this is a good option. It really is a beautiful unit in a secure setting.

Beautiful penthouse condo

What an amazing property! The condo is set for your total enjoyment with probably everything you could ask for. We loved our mornings on the upstairs deck watching all the birds with our coffee. The complex is quiet and secure and the wellness center a short walk away is amply appointed. With the use of all the amenities across the way at Bahia Principe or for a small fee the food and drink this is really a great property. We will definitely be back next year or maybe even as a get away for the family, as we love the Akumal/Tulum area!

Beautiful home, excellent location

My family of three stayed at Paradise Blue just before Thanksgiving. We had a fantastic time! The set up of the condo worked very well for us - with the open floor plan from kitchen to living room to deck and two bedrooms near each other it was ideal. The location is excellent - close to Akumal Bay, Yal Ku, Xel Ha, Aktun Chen, delicious food and sunsets in Tulum, Coba with ruins and cenotes, and more. Our vacation style tends toward adventure and exploring local cultures but if lounging by the pool or playing a round of golf is yours, Paradise Blue works equally well.

Paradise Blue was a Delight

We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Blue. The condo is nicely furnished and comfortable. The ensuite bedrooms make the space great for two couples. The availability of purified water, washer and dryer and functioning internet made for added convenience. We very much enjoyed spending time on the balcony and roof top deck. My wife enjoyed the yoga classes at the Wellness Center which also included a fitness center, lap pools and a charming cafe. We also made good use of the two very nice swimming pools in the Community. Having access to the Bahia Principe resort facilities including the beach, swimming pools and restaurants was an added plus. We rented a car which made travel travel within the Bahia Principe very convenient and allowed us to snorkel, sightsee and grocery shop in the Riviera Maya. We met other guests in the TAO Community who chose not to rent a car relying instead on cabs and the shuttle service. Karyn was responsive and very helpful throughout. f We had an enjoyable relaxing time during our stay at Paradise Blue.

Immaculate, beautiful condo!

This condo is gorgeous - modern, clean & comfortable! Exactly what you see in the pictures. While I've often found beds in Mexico too hard/uncomfortable, I was pleasantly surprised to find that these beds were indeed comfortable! We have stayed at Tao before and really enjoy the location as well. Having the option of doing all inclusive days at the Bahia Principe was great - we spent about half of our week there and the remaining days hanging out, visiting cenotoes & beaches plus a day at Xel Ha - everything is close but we found renting a car easiest. (And faster as we didn't have to wait for shuttles!) We didn't get a chance, but the golf course looks beautiful.... and yoga classes at the wellness centre are right there at your fingertips! The grounds are very pretty/lush and Tao has a quiet, serene & safe feel that we love! Karyn was great to deal with and quick to reply to any questions. We'd definitely recommend this condo! (Our kids -ages 11&14- were equally impressed!)

A great location for sharing a getaway with the family

We had a wonderful time at the condo. Fernando was very responsive and ensured we had what we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. It was great having the AC in each of the rooms which made sleeping very comfortable.

Beautiful vacation

Paradise Blue was amazing. The u it looks just like the pictures if not better. Unit was clean and all necessities were there upon arrival. One thing missing was ice as the ice Mach e doesn't have a filter so remember to pick up ice on your way. The location is great. We spent a few days in Akumal at the beach. la Beuna Vida is a must. Great drinks at food. Pool and beach right there. Went to the Cenoties Azul which were very cool. Day drip to Tulum was fun!!!! We did not rent a car but found getting cabs and collectivos easy. The security guard at Tao will call you a cab. We had 4 adults and 2 children and the condo fit us all just f e. The rooftop area is beautiful and well furnished. You won't be disappointed with your stay at Paradise Blue. Until next time!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful penthouse apartment in a beautiful complex

What can I say, we arrived to the apartment and were not disappointed. The photos of this penthouse are exactly what you get, in fact maybe they do not do it justice. Its very luxurious and has a larger size that is depicted in the photographs. It is really well equipped with everything you need for a holiday. The beds are really comfortable and the air con was really efficient. The outside furniture is really comfortable to sit and relax and a great place to spend time taking in the sights and sounds of the tropical birds around you. The complex itself has an infinity pool area just a short walk away from the penthouse which was perfect to relax at after a day on the beach. There is so much to see and do here, if only I played golf the grounds looked amazing - for a golf lover this would be paradise! Its very close to Tulum ruins ( 30 mins by car) we visited the ruins which is a must, but we also went to a beach club called 'El Paradso' - we spent the whole day there from 10 am (when it opens to the public) until 6pm. Great place to sit and enjoy the beach, perfect white sands and turquoise sea you can have wonderful walks up and down the beach. You can rent loungers that come with a table and chairs and umbrella ( 200/250 pesos for the day) to be able to order food and drinks under the shade of the umbrellas or the palm trees. It was quite reasonable in price beers 50 peso's and average meal 150 peso's. This apartment is perfect to access all of the entertainment that Riviera Maya has to offer (Xcaret, Xel Ha etc ) all are really close by. Having a car I would say is essential unless you want to stay in the complex or the local beaches of Akumal ( we visited Shai Khan better part of the beach) but I would suggest heading out to Tulum. We had a few teething problems but all was resolved by the owner and local management company. The contact prior to us arriving to the penthouse and during our stay was exceptional - Karyn had lots of advice and gave us all the information we needed. My stay was quite a short this time but I am sure to visit again in the future and return to this lovely penthouse. Its a great base to see this part of Mexico!

Amazing vacation stay

As the pictures show, the condo is beautifully decorated. The living area is bright and spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable! The bedroom closets are huge. The patios give added space for dining and relaxing. The roof top patio is perfect any time of day or night. Great having a washer and dryer in the unit and the bottled water system was much appreciated. The condo was spotless inside and out. We took advantage of the yoga classes and enjoyed both pools. The beaches are less than 5 minutes by car and there are shuttles available if you don't have a car. We enjoyed the restaurants in the Turtle Bay Area and we visited the ruins in Tulum. The owners and the on-site manager made communicating a breeze.

Pent House was very clean and well stocked for all our needs.

What a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the views over the top of the jungle. There were days when we spend the whole day on the roof top patio just enjoying the jacuzzi and the quiet. It is exactly as the pictures portray it. And it offers all the amenities of a 5 star resort if you want to use them. There is a beautiful community pool just a short walk from the pent house or you can take the shuttle bus to the beautiful beach complex or just a few minutes away is the Bahia Principe complex with it's many pools and restaurants and nightly show and dancing. You are also only 12 miles from the pueblo of Tulum and all it's wonderful restaurants and shopping. We loved being so centrally located to visit the areas many ruins. It is only about 1hour 15 minutes easy drive from Cancun airport. We can hardly wait to return.

We love our own little piece of paradise in the Riviera Maya, and we’ve decided to open our home and share it with you.

What first perked our interest about owning a home in the Riviera Maya was the location. Paradise Blue is centrally located in The Tao Community. A community committed to promoting wellness and healing, while also having a resort feel and amenities.

We really love the warmer climate of the Riviera Maya, and of course, the tropical beauty. We delight in exploring the miles of gorgeous beaches, experiencing the Mayan culture, wonderful food, gracious and friendly people and the life of the thriving, protected jungle that encompasses Paradise Blue.

We took ample time in designing our home to be beautiful and elegant. We want you to feel as you’d stepped into a different world when you walk in the door of the condo. Returning to Paradise Blue after a day of exploring the area won’t be like heading back to a typical hotel room, or dealing with the crowds, noise and the bustle of activity. It will be a delight to come home to, and you’ll be relaxing in style until the next day’s adventures begin.
