New Year’s Getaway

It was the perfect place to stay for New Year’s it’s right in the middle of downtown but away from the noise. Perfect location for walking downtown and hitting all the shops and restaurants.

Location, location, location

Some girlfriends and I came to Breckenridge for a couple days to do some skiing. The shop that we rented our ski gear from was just downstairs from the apartment. The shuttle to take you to the lift it’s literally right across the street. You can ski down the mountain at 4 PM when skiing closes for the day. The trail goes all the way down into town which again ends directly across the street from this apartment. There’s a beautiful park out back that you can take a stroll through that leads directly onto the main street where all the restaurants and shops are, perfect location. It had everything you could possibly need in the apartment 10 out of 10.

Overall, the condo was OK. Very outdated, broken appliances, a TV system impossible to figure out, lights out and all in all, lower quality all around.The location is great!The check in is a nightmare and after a conversation with the owner of an adjacent business...it happens to all of her renters.Most importantly, this renter gives short term resort rentals a bad name.After 25 years of supporting short term rentals in Dillon and Eagle counties, I would suggest you be aware!She will charge you bullsh#t fees just to maximize profit.It's a shame when some ruin it for everyone else.

Not a well maintained condo for the price

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clearly the rates we paid during a busy holiday were based on the location, but the interior and amenities were a bit of a disappointment. There were so many items that were just junk or not repaired, such as light fixture that was falling apart and dangling with electric tape, a toaster that was broken with the guts hanging out, a coffee pot that probably came from dollar general, the broken stove top glass, the sagging floor - this list goes on and on. And then the hot water went out on our last night in the building, but it came back the next morning, so I guess it was all used up from the other units. The response from the management company was very swift, but no one was available to come by that night and they suggested that it was probably due to the shared boiler and that I should turn it on and leave it running for 15 minutes (which certainly didn’t make sense to me). We had a reservation lined up at one of their other properties the next day, so they did kindly get us an early check in there, which I appreciated. They were similarly priced condos, but the quality difference was so big that I felt a little slighted by this one. There were just so many small things that they could have improved on that would have made a big difference, and it was too pricy for the way they cheaped out on the things they did, and it’s not like we were at a total ski in/ski out - we still had to hike multiple blocks to get to the gondola. There was a nice trail that ended very close to it, though.

We are guest oriented, and we offer the following when you rent with us: hassle-free check-in and keycard pick-up, a generous supply of towels and an initial supply of consumables for your stay. We are also in the resort and have the longest business hours of any management company.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
