Tucked away on a private mountain road our unique "little green camp" offers a wonderful base for all of your outdoor adventures. Whether you are just looking for a quiet spot to chill and watch movies, maybe spot some of the local wildlife, or going out to ATV, snowmobile, hike, ski, fish or hunt, we have you covered. We are 37 mins from Sunday River, Black Mountain of Maine , and Grafton Notch State Park, 30 mins to Richardson Lake, 20 mins to the Appalachian Trail access and 10 mins to Roxbury Pond. *Access to ATV and snowmobile trails from camp are temporarily closed.
Since buying the camp we have replaced all of the windows, taken down all of the dark 70’s wood paneled walls and ceilings, insulating everything, new skirting has been put on, the exterior has been caulked, sealed up and painted. A new gas tank, monitor and fireplace have been installed, the entire back area has been recreated, new flooring has been put down throughout and new pine has gone up on all of the walls. We have added a high-end incinerating toilet, fiber-optic internet, new lighting, and amenities to make staying at a "dry" cabin as comfortable as possible. Ample potable water is provided. The cabin is outfitted with all the essentials: refrigerator with freezer, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, Keurig, drip coffee pot, flatware, dishware, utensils, pots pans, and an assortment of spices. Multiple streaming services are available via the Roku.
*We do not have a shower available yet - but it is planned for summer '25.
When you run out of paved road you are approximately 1.5 miles from the cabin on a gravel camp road. Low slung vehicles may have some difficulty navigating this stretch.
Being an old cabin the ceilings are slightly lower than normal and we ask that very tall folks (over 6' 4") consider this prior to booking.
I like to greet all of our guests and give them a 2 minute tour to explain the various amenities. We look forward to hosting you and hope to see you soon!
