The San Juan Riverside Retreat is a spacious, modern luxury cabin with cathedral ceilings located on the West Dolores River in the San Juan National Forest. You’ll have ample space to relax on the property and a perfect place to launch your adventures, no matter the season! The lawn has steps down to the river, and it’s only ¼ mile from the trailhead for hiking with amazing views on an uncrowded trail. When you return, relax by the firepit or in the hammock, and enjoy all the home's amenities!
About this home:
The cabin has cathedral ceilings with expansive windows and is furnished with luxury furniture, linens, and mattresses, including an Aireloom king-size in the primary bedroom and a queen-size cooling memory foam mattress with an adjustable base in the second bedroom. Upstairs you will find a large loft with a yoga space and a 900 sq ft bedroom with vaulted ceilings and a second living space. This upscale vacation rental is perfect for couples, families, or adults vacationing together. While there is plenty do on the property and the adjacent river and trail, it’s just over 30 minutes to Mesa Verde National Park and 1 hour to Telluride or Durango. Or, take a short drive to the Geyser Spring Trail and hike to see Colorado’s only natural geyser! In the winter, there is often enough snow for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding right outside the door. When night falls, enjoy stargazing from this location even more remote than nearby certified Dark Sky areas.
