This hilltop tiny home is surrounded by oak trees on our gated 5 acre property. Perfect for a relaxing getaway in the Texas hill country. Conveniently located halfway between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake you can enjoy the amenities that both offer. Less than 10 minutes (approx 5 miles) from Whitewater Amphitheater and the popular tubing on the horseshoe of the Guadalupe River.

The cottage is equipped with all of the essentials for a comfortable stay.

The guesthouse is located behind our main home (not too close, about 100 feet away).

Fabulous Cottage on Private Gated Property

My stay was wonderful; communication with the host was so easy. The cottage was very clean, and attention was paid to the small details. Bath and hair products were available in the shower, kitchen was well stock for cooking, both the freezer and fridge were in great working order. The bed was very comfortable and both window unit air conditioners worked to keep the cottage cool. The location was perfect for tubing the Guadalupe, I look forward to returning in the future.

Very Pleased

This was a cute, welcoming little cabin! It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed staying there very much! Since we are tall, we really appreciated the tall, corded shower head! The bed was so comfortable and had amazing sheets 😁. We were also very happy to have a list of suggestions/recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to see and do. The owners were very nice and very responsive to our communications! We will definitely be visiting again!

Quick stay

Very nice secluded location. AC in the bedroom kept freezing up, making the bedroom warm at night. I turned it off to let the ice thaw, and cleaned the filter, and it helped some. Enjoyed seeing the momma deer and her babies while we were there.

Impeccable attention to detail.

We were impressed with the attention to detail. The host was friendly and quick to respond to questions. The property is safe, the driveway is gated. Cottage is tucked into the trees. We were able to park in the provided carport. Bed was very comfortable. Our needs were anticipated and provided for. Decorated so well. We loved or stay, and will return.

Perfect for anyone looking to stay in the area!

We had a wonderful experience at this property. Josh was incredibly communicative, and it was adorable and quaint for our two day stay to visit family at the lake. Everything was as listed, we made breakfast with the items in the kitchen, watched tv in the living room, and the bed was very comfy. There was also a cute cat that visited us a few times! We loved it and would definitely come back and recommend to everyone.

Great piece of Texas Hill Country

A wonderful little Vrbo tucked away out of the city but close enough to enjoy both worlds. The Vrbo was super clean and accessible for a little gogo scooter. We will be coming back!

Super cute! Highly recommend!!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, easy to get to, the owner was kind! They had everything we needed! Shampoo, conditioner, keurig and kcups, etc! Cold A/C! They also had a bunch of board games, which we did play, and a large selection of dvd’s for us to choose from if we wanted. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something in the area! It seems “far” from downtown New Braunfels on the map, but it’s truly not and it’s actually nice being away from downtown. It’s peaceful and quiet!

Sweet Cabin in a Wooded Property with Greeter

Quaint cottage with all the amenities anyone would want. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, roomy shower. Great proximity to Gruene, New Braunfels & San Macros. Best bonus was the sweet little cat that greeted us. While I don't like to see cats outside, she was a sweetie and I enjoyed giving her the attention she craved.

3 day weekend get away

Little cabin is perfect for 2 people. Bed is super comfy and water pressure is great. Very clean and and we wanted for nothing. A little "out there" but it made for peaceful sleeping. Thanks for a pleasant stay. Ps. Stop by Granny D'S and order a pancake. About the size of a pizza!

Adorable cottage

This cottage is out deep in a rural area. The quiet and solitude is perfect for a recharge/regroup. I did see deer too! Not just on the property but driving thru the area. It was clean and just fresh smells. The bed was comfy and warm. Loved my stay!

We had a nice stay at this little house. Everything was clean and thoughtfully put together. It was the perfect size and well-prepped for a couple. The hosts were efficient but thorough in their communications and provided a great little guide to the property with tips about the area.

EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS - A MUST READ!

This place was absolutely perfect! Because I am a bona-fide germaphobe with OCD issues, finding lodging when out of town that I'm (AT LEAST) "comfortable with" both mentally and physically... is nearly impossible! This place looked promising when I booked it. I wasn't wrong! Even before the trip I had the best communication with the host Josh! When we arrived he was coming out of the cabin having placed a very thoughtful bithday "gift" on the table for me. Then, I walked into my kind of paradise. Exceptionally clean! Adorable furnished! The attention (and great effort) for every little detail was so obvious! It turned out that we totally over packed because evert thing we needed to feel at home was provided! Even insect repellent and a small first aid kit, lol! The towels and other linens were of higher quality (not thin, cheap and "crusty"). Like I said... this stay went above and beyond my expectations! Yes, it is about 12 miles from I-35's grocery stores and restaurants, but the entire experience makes it worth it! We had deer come into the yard in the early morning and early evening. And a sly fox even passed through one night too. (very cute!) It was simply wonderful and we will definitely be returning in our future. HIGHLY recommend!

Perfect getaway

This was our first time at this rental, but won’t be our last. The place was very well stocked, and the signs strategically placed left about were very helpful. First impressions were “OMG it’s so cute!” My husband was pleasantly surprised, so that was a bonus. After we got back from eating dinner, we turned on the fire outside and sat in the chairs placed there and enjoyed the sound of NOTHING. It was fantastic. The bed was really comfortable, and the morning view of deer outside the front door was so fun! They were not completely terrified of us so that made it fun to grab a camera and capture their beauty. The gate was easy to use from the excellent instructions and the privacy was much appreciated. Great hosts! Thanks again!
