Stattliches Omaha Home - Großartige CWS-Lage

Dies ist ein geräumiges, klassisches PRAIRIE STYLE Haus mit einer Fläche von 2200 m², westlich der Benson Neighborhood. Diese turn-of-the-Jahrhundert Haus bietet fünf Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer mit WC, eine voll eingerichtete Küche, ein separates Esszimmer und ein großes Wohnzimmer. Es gibt vier gute Größe Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss und ein großes Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss mit eigenem Eingang. Es gibt auch ein komplettes Badezimmer auf jeder Etage. Dieses Haus bietet bequem Platz für 8 bis 10 Gäste.

Unser Zuhause ist 8 km von der Innenstadt von Omaha, dem Century Link Center und dem Ameritrade Park entfernt - oder etwa 10 bis 15 Minuten Fahrzeit. Die Westroads (CWS-Shuttle) und Borsheims im Regency Shopping Center sind nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Wir sind zentral gelegen, weniger als 5 Minuten von der 72nd und Dodge Street und dem Nebraska Furniture Mart mit einfachem Zugang zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und guten Restaurants.

Der Garten ist mehr als einen halben Hektar groß und bietet eine 600 m² große Terrasse mit Grill sowie viel Platz zum Entspannen unter unserem 100 Jahre alten Ginormous Catalpa-Baum! Die Sommer sind großartig hier!

Dieses über 100 Jahre alte Haus ist bemerkenswert gut erhalten, mit viel ursprünglichem Charakter und Schönheit, aber auch mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten. Ursprüngliche Eichen- und Tigerauge-Ahornholzböden, 9 m hohe Decken mit originaler Gipsbuchse und zahlreiche antike Stücke sind nur ein Teil des Charmes. Wir lieben unser gepflegtes Zuhause und wissen, dass auch Sie es tun werden.

Back porch delite.

Beautiful older home with a great back porch deck for sitting around one of the biggest Northern Catalpa trees in Nebraska. Would definitely stay again. The host was great to work with.

Well taken care of.

We were in town for the Berkshire AGM and the location was great. Beautiful house. Very clean accommodations that made us feel right at home. Was great to meet the owner at arrival to show us around and get tips for our stay. Owner checked up on us with an email to offer tips and to make sure everything was to our standard. Would stay again.

Stay in Omaha

My 3 old friends and I get together about once a year and try to get a house to stay in. Because of various issues, it is important we get a house with at least 4 bed rooms. This house we rented in Omaha met all our needs. There was more than ample room for us. While it advertises 4 bedrooms, it actually has 5 and a total of 6 beds. The house was very comfortable with a nice back yard and a large deck with a fire pit. It was great sitting out there in the evening with a few drinks and good conversation. Inside the house was clean and well equipped for all cooking needs. A good restaurant is close by within walking distance (1/4 mile) and a good breakfast place was a little farther (1/2 mile). The owner was very accommodating, spending almost a 1/2 hour with us going over the house and the location of things. She made sure we would enjoy the house. The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable, and the two baths were clean and modern. The only drawback was the location. It is on a busy street about 8 miles from downtown Omaha. A car will be needed to get around Omaha. There is a good sized driveway at the house that is easy to get in and out. Overall we had a very good experience and would use the house again the next time we come to Omaha.

It was close enough to enjoy the experience and far enough away to have privacy and enjoy sleep and meals. Host were extremely kind and provided information and feedback immediately. We definitely would stay with them again!

Graduation Weekend in Omaha

My sister graduated from Creighton and this was the perfect place to celebrate. The house is very clean, has plenty of beds and bedrooms, and an amazing outdoor patio area. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely gardens and historic home

We stayed 2 nights with a group of 5 ladies. We spent the weekend visiting and catching up, and this house was perfect for that. There is a large deck and yard for a bonfire. The kitchen had abundant cooking utensils and pantry items. There is a large dining room table for visiting and game playing. We really appreciated the comfortable bedrooms and generous, high quality linens that were provided. We had everything we needed. Theresa, the owner, is a lovely person and was very accommodating upon our arrival. Would stay here again.

Wonderful home with great central location

My family, which included six adults and one toddler, stayed at the house for four nights and enjoyed every minute! The home is extremely well-kept and cozy. We had a chance to cook, grill, have a bonfire and chase a very active three year old around the yard. When we wanted to go out, we were a 10-20 minute drive from everything in Omaha. Plus, the owner was super attentive to any questions or concerns we had. We highly recommend staying here and hope we have a chance to again.

Beautiful property!

We rented this house for a long weekend for a family reunion. Ten of the 15 attendants, including 5 children, stayed here, the rest stayed in a hotel but came here to hang out. It worked well- there was plenty of space for our large group to gather on the deck and lawn, around the dining room table, or in the living room. The house was very clean and well-maintained and the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. We loved the huge old tree in the backyard and all the bird feeders. The only problem I found with this property - and this would be expected in a house of this age- was that each room is quite small- containing one twin, two twins, or a full-size bed. This would be fine for people traveling without kids but it was a little complicated for families with young children. We ended up packing several people in a few rooms, with some sleeping in air mattresses on the floor and at least one room ended up empty. This arrangement worked out fine for us but perhaps wouldn't be for everyone. Also, the layout, bed sizes, etc.. of the rooms was a little difficult to figure out from the listing. The room layouts and the abundance of nice decorations and beautiful woodwork made it perhaps less than ideal for small children. However, in other ways it was great for the kids- there was a big yard, a basketball hoop, lots of birds for our young birder, lots of videos in the living room and master bedroom, and enough space on the living room floor for cousins to camp out together. We had a wonderful stay here- it's really a special house and property. We would definitely recommend it to others!

Charming home with a lot of character. We enjoyed staying there for the weekend. It gave us plenty of room for everything we needed and wanted to do. The one drawback was we had to share one bathroom because we went with the 4 bedroom/1bathroom set up. We'd be happy to stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Writing Retreat

I stayed in the lockout while working on my dissertation proposal. The owner was a lovely host and the area was perfect for what I was looking for. There was a dorm 'fridge and microwave which I kept some snacks in. It was quiet, near restaurants and shopping places, and the owner was fantastic. She was incredibly accommodating and kind. I will say that the price may be a little high for the lock out, as it didn't have a full kitchen and was pretty small (it's a closed in porch, that has had a bathroom added). This was absolutely fine for me, as I was just writing and reading, but I also could have rented full houses for a little less and have had access to the kitchen, multiple bedrooms & bathrooms, etc. I also would not recommend more than two people staying in the lock out at one time. Overall, this was perfect for me, but would not recommend the lock out for large groups or people who want a lot of space to spread out.

Beautiful Home!

Several of my close friends and I met at this house for an evening in Omaha before my friend's wedding. I think that if I had seen this house before hand, I might have passed on it. It's not what you'd think when you hear the words "Bachelor Party". That being said, the house is beautiful. Theresa and her family have things set up in such a way that we all felt quite at home. We ran into a few speed bumps with the internet and the locks on the home, but Theresa got back to me quickly, and everything was taken care of. Several of my friends (in their mid 20's) weren't won over at the beginning of the evening, but by the next morning, everyone told me how much they enjoyed staying there. There were a few guidelines that I was worried might be looked over by my friends, but everyone was respectful (I hope Theresa agrees!). While it's probably not the best place for several guys in their mid-20's to hang out for the evening, I'd still recommend this house. We all felt at home staying there, and it'd make for a nice weekend retreat. I'm not too familiar with Omaha, but I felt that it was located fairly centrally to all the places we wound up going that day, and it was easy to find.

Omaha install stay

Everything was suitable for our stay. Much down time was spent on the deck, which was very nice. Theresa was great with the walk thru and enabling WI FI, which wasn't present upon arrival. The lone factor that sets hotel stays apart from renting a home is house keeping. With a crew of 6 males, our presence was definitely felt with the clutter left out and about. The upstairs shower lacked pressure. Overall I am satisfied, and would consider renting the house again upon our return should hotels again be unavailable, as was the case this time around due to the college world series and Olympic swimming trials being held in town.

This is such a beautiful historic home, and has great access to all activities in the city. Great for College World Series groups, Berkshire Hathaway, Graduations and Family Reunions.

This home has a wonderful old world feel to it, plus the downtown area is very quickly accessed. Everyone says their favorite thing is hanging out on the large deck. 🌿 Our home is one hundred and ten years old this year. The amazing Catalpa tree that shades the deck is the state record holder! During our modernizing we have been very careful not to destroy the homes original character. It is a home that captures a bygone era.
