Lazy River Texas Retreat

This fantastic house in Cypress was built for fun and sits on 2 spacious acres. It has a lazy river pool with a swim up bar that seats 4, putting green, poker room, jacuzzi, large covered patio and lots of twinkling lights for evening entertaining. A pond stocked with Bass and catfish with a covered fishing pier is the perfect spot to go fishing! We provide some fishing gear but you should bring your own if you are a serious fisherman! There is a covered outdoor kitchen area perfect for grilling and entertaining and we have a smoker. You will find all the BBQ utensils you need as well as plenty of plasticware since glass is not allowed by the pool.
The Retreat offers 3 spacious bedrooms with a mix of sleeping arrangements to accommodate all guests. A huge Master Suite with a King bed as well as a Twin DayBed with a ginormous bathroom with step in shower and jetted tub. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom has two bunks (Twin over Full Size mattresses).
With amenities like AC, WiFi, Smart TVs in each room and a washing machine & dryer, your stay will be comfortable and convenient.
The kitchen is ready for a full gourmet meal with every utensil and small appliance you could want. We include an air fryer, counter top citrus squeezer, Ninja Smoothie blender, waffle maker, Keurig, Instapot, rice cooker, tea kettle, Crockpot and even a Ninja Creamie to make ice cream to name a few. Place settings and utensils for 10 including child friendly plastic plates/cups. Reminder that glass is strictly prohibited in the outdoor area (especially by the pool) we provide plastic ware so that you can enjoy your beverages outside.
We love our littles so we provide a high chair as well as a pack-n-play.
The decor is “Texas Farmhouse” and you will love looking at all the antique signs and collectibles scattered throughout the home. All new linens in October 2024 that include thick 100% Turkish cotton towels and 800 thread count sheets as well as plenty of beach towels. We include luxurious toiletries like Bliss Body Butter and Bliss Body Wash, Milk & Honey hand soap, Nest candles, blow dryers and ironing board and iron!
The backyard is truly a resort and we provide lots of areas to lounge and relax including outdoor umbrella for shade and a wonderful firepit for S’mores on a cool evening. NOTE THE POOL IS NOT HEATED. It is a 70,000 gallon pool that takes 12-24 hours to heat and weather can affect that timeline. If you want to heat the pool we require a $300 fee to be paid 7 days prior and ask that you tell us what temperature you would like it set to. We normally set it to 80 degrees when guests require it to be heated. Please note that if we get heavy rains or freezing temperatures it might make it impossible to heat and we would have to cancel the pool heater and refund the fee. The hot tub is heated on demand and you can activate that yourself using a remote.

We have a small library of books that we share with our guests and we ask that you keep the variety growing. Our guests are free to take a book but be sure to leave a book that you enjoy as well for future guests to enjoy. This includes kids books for those rainy afternoons. We also provide lots of jigzaw puzzles and board games.
There is plenty of private parking on the property and many “Instagram” perfect locations.
