HOME TRUTHS:
☆ No Air Conditioning: Like most homes in Lake Tahoe, our cabin does not have air conditioning.
☆ Outdoor furniture (including BBQ) is not guaranteed to be available/accessible November - Memorial Day.
☆ As of April 2025, the fire place in the living room and the outdoor fire pit are currently out of service. We are working on getting them up and running as soon as possible.
☆ Uncontrollable Circumstances: We are not responsible for poor air quality during wildfire season or snow during winter months. Winter travel may require 4WD, chains, or snow tires. We recommend purchasing trip insurance for additional protection.
☆ One lesson we've learned about the great outdoors is the frequent requirement to wipe down the deck furniture. Despite our efforts to maintain the utmost cleanliness for your convenience, it seems that nature is working against us. You may need to wipe down the outdoor table, chairs, and any other outdoor seating. The dust and pollen accumulates within a matter of hours.
*Furnishings and amenities will be furnished as described whenever possible. In the event that an item is damaged/broken/lost the owner will restock as soon as possible. All items in description/pictures are not guaranteed.*
Tahoe Cohost Collective is not a property manager and is not liable for any injury or damages incurred while staying at the property. All reservations are between the booking platform, the property owner, and the guest.
While we don’t even want to think about your plans changing, sometimes life throws us a curveball. When plans go awry (road closures, winter storms, fire season, etc.), travel insurance can be a godsend. While we don’t recommend one provider over another, Forbes maintains this updated list of "cancel for any reason" carriers for your consideration. We are happy to share a link to this list - just ask!
