I found this gem for 25th wedding anniversary and had to come back for 26th. It is private and beautiful. The pool and patio is fabulous. I have never had a more relaxing vacation...that is why we had to come back again!

Excellent Experience
The wonderfulness of this property changed our one week stay in the San Diego area. We just didn't want to leave. If you are looking for a place of total relaxation, this is it. We had so many things on our sightseeing list for San Diego, and we didn't do any of them this trip. We relaxed and swam in the pool area every day. The days were quite warm, and there was plenty of shade. We visited a different beach every evening. We sampled some wonderful food in the Escondido area. We slept incredibly well in the wonderful en suite bedrooms. Thank you, Peter for a most lovely stay.

Wonderful Stay
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at California Dreamin'. The house was spacious and had every essential we could have wanted. The best part was having the private pool and spa. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature so we were able to enjoy it in any weather. We had a nice family lawn bowling night as well. The house was easy to find, but felt private since you couldn't see your neighbors. The host was very quick to reply to any question we had. Would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous!
For a family of 6 it’s not always easy to accommodate for all of us but this place was absolutely perfect! The pool and hot tub were amazing. The landscaping is beautiful, the views of the mountains is gorgeous and being able to pick oranges was a definite plus. The only reason I could not give overall 5 stars was the fact that the refrigerator was broken. Which made us eat out a lot and throw away all of our groceries that we spent a lot of money on. Peter was very responsive but unfortunately they could not fix right away. It happens.

We totally enjoyed our stay! The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. It is fully stocked. The neighborhood was safe. The landscaping around the pool is beautiful as are the views from the house. Beautiful property
The property and pool area was beautiful and clean. House was clean and had everything we needed. The property manager was very helpful and fast to respond. Having so many oranges for fresh orange juice was great. My two sons (3 and 5) loved this place because of the pool and playground. The yard is fenced in and the doors all have top locks so we felt safe letting the littles run. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

This is a beautiful, centrally located area close to the beautiful hiking and lake sports at Lake Hodges. It's close to my home and many other fun things to do while you are in San Diego. It is inland enough to have warm sunny days when there is fog on the coast, which can happen more frequently than not and is a real bummer if you're only in town for a week. The air is fresh, the vegetation is plentiful. It's not too hot or cold or dry or wet. There are 5 horses next door you can say hi to over the back fence. It's private and yet still not too far away from the surrounding stores to be inconvenient.
