The proprietors of Bay Harbor Cove extend a warm welcome to you at their coastal residence. During your visit, we kindly request that you adhere to a few guidelines designed to enhance the experience for all guests and to maintain the property’s appearance for years to come.
1. Parking ~ is limited to 3 vehicles: 1 vehicle can park in the garage and the remaining 2 cars can park on the driveway. Vehicles must be licensed, operable and registered to the occupants. All the vehicles must display a parking pass in the rearview mirror of each vehicle.
2. Occupancy ~ Maximum capacity per unit is no more than 8 guests. There must be at least one adult 25 years of age or older, registered, present and residing in the unit through the duration of the tenancy. This person must be the primary guest and in charge of signing the agreement. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
3. Pets ~ We accept up to 2 dogs on our property with a $105/dog pet cleaning fee. The knowledge or trace of unauthorized pets will mean a fine of $400.
4. Noise ~ Loud noise of any sort; music, loud talking, boom boxes, etc. is not allowed.
5. Garbage and Tidiness ~ Garbage should all be disposed green/blue dumpsters on the sides of the building. Please DO NOT dispose garbage bags outside of the bins. Cigarette butts, cans, candy wrappers, trash on the ground is NOT allowed. We work hard to make certain the property looks good when you check in. Please help us keep it that way by picking up any litter before you leave.
6. Pool ~ Please wash ALL sand from your body BEFORE entering our pool. The pool equipment cannot handle sand from the beach and causes damage and equipment failure. Please DO NOT leave your children unattended. Our pool water gets HOT during the summer months, the only heater ON during the summer months is the good old SUN.
7. We provide a gas BBQ grill for your convenience and use. We charge $50/stay to clean the equipment on your departure. The $50 fee must be paid in advance for us to unlock the appliance.
8. Once booked, we will send a custom Rental Agreement and Subdivision Rules for you to complete, sign and send back to us. Without this agreement we will not be able to host you.
9. Please be advised that each of our vacation properties is equipped with a "starter kit" that contains various essentials, including hotel-quality soaps, shampoo, dishwashing soap, a new sponge, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and more. Once these supplies are depleted, we kindly ask that you visit the nearest supermarket to restock your necessities.
10. The owners of this property will NOT allow Spring Break activity on the premises.
11. Check-in is easy and available 24 hours a day with a lockbox by the entrance door. The lock box code will be provided to the guest about 48-24 hours before arrival.
12. Hosts will be available for check-in assistance up until 10 pm, we ask that guests arriving late please let us know via text.
13. Service Animals are required to remain with the individual they assist at all times, without exception.
Leaving a Service Animal unattended on the premises is not permissible and will result in a penalty of $400. Additionally, a cleaning fee of $100 will be charged for the necessary cleaning following the presence of your Service Animal. These measures are in accordance with our health standards and are intended to ensure a pleasant experience for subsequent guests.
14. "Early" check-in and/or "Late" check-out will be available, when possible, at a charge of $55 for each occurrence.
15. Child's highchair & pack & play on request at $25/each, billed on a separate invoice.
You are in the process of reserving a private beach residence. While we strive to accommodate your needs, it is important to note that our operations differ from those of traditional hotels. We do not provide round-the-clock service. Any requests for overnight assistance, except in the case of genuine emergencies, will be addressed the following day. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please contact emergency services by dialing 911.

Changes to your reservation dates may be permitted, subject to a $100 change fee and any applicable price differences, depending on the timing of the change.
Cancellations for nightly reservations will receive a 96% refund if they are made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. Please note that a service fee of $25 will also be charged for all cancellations, regardless of the timing. There will be no refund if the cancellation is made within 30 days prior to your arrival date. This policy does not extend to bookings that are eligible for monthly discounts.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 8 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
Blue Ocean Vacation Rentals provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 2 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, 4-6 coffee pods and and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.
