Die Seahorse Cottages wurden 1938 erbaut und sind eine einzigartige Erfahrung am Strand. Diese rustikalen Cottages und Apartments, die noch immer ihr ursprüngliches Design und ihren Charme behalten haben, wurden alle modernisiert, sind gut gepflegt und alle sind mit Klimaanlagen, voll ausgestatteten Küchen und einem alten Florida-Ambiente ausgestattet, das heutzutage nur noch schwer zu bekommen ist.

On the beach

All in all this is a nice place to stay for vacation. Close to shopping and restaurants. Also close to many attractions around the Tampa Bay Area.

It’s like going back to my Cape Cod childhood!

This cabin was ADORABLE! Built in the 30s it reminded me of the cabins on the Cape…but updated in the cutest way! Cold AC, Keurig and regular coffee maker, clean and tidy, but definitely vintage. Also, a TINY shower, but we worked with it. We absolutely loved the cabin and will be back, hopefully with our adult kids in the other cabins. Perfect for multiple families to be together and also apart. We also had a front row seat the the 3”4th of July fireworks! Wish they allowed small dogs. 🐾

Wonderful Stay!

We found this quaint little place by chance and was one of the best decisions we've made for a long weekend. States no frills, but it's very clean and well kept property. Wonderful seating area before the beach to just hang out and relax with a fire pit and wood that was provided by the property. All you need provided by the property, including beach chairs and towels. We will be back 100%.

Perfect relaxing place on an amazing beach!

Cabin was perfect and just what my wife and I were looking for. Long walks on the beach right out the front door. Perfect interior as well with a touch of old world nostalgic but brand new appliances! We really enjoyed the place and can't wait to get back! Cheers!

Rustic Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at cottage #1. The unit was very small but fulfilled our vacation needs. The bed was comfy, the air conditioning was cool and the area is very laid back. We appreciated all of the additional info given listing activities, restaurants and free things to do in the area. We would book here again.

We love the cabin on the beach.

We love the cabin on the beach. The bed is just terrible looks as if it can from a old logging camp cant sleep for more than three hours and the frigid freeze all your food or everything is warm and it makes a racket every time the compressor shutdown.

What a awesome getaway

I love going to treasure island. The island vibe itself is just so great and so relaxing. This cottage was perfect. It just the perfect size for 2 people. It was right on the beach and had everything you need to get through your week. I definitely will be coming back here in the future. The free perks program the offered was just as awesome. Highly recommend this place for people who don’t mind just the basics for what you need for a vacation. Yes it is not the fanciest and most up to date but it has everything you need.

This place is perfect.

This place is perfect. I am staying for 5 nights and Im currently checked in. This is the perfect getaway cottage. It has everything you need for a short vacation. Its located right on the beach and the cottage is so comfy

I loved this place!!!

I stayed in Seahorse 1. It was cute and cozy and exactly what I hoped for! It had everything I needed for a perfect week on the beach! (although I am a pretty low-maintenance person!) The bed was super comfortable, the sleeper sofa gets a "Good Sleep" Review as well. Because I made friends with my cottage neighbors, I got to see inside some of the other cottages too--all very nice! We also did campfires together on several of the nights. I really appreciated the abundant supply of super nice beach towels! Grocery story and bus stop across the street. The Jolly Trolley and Free Beach Ride were so helpful to go see other nearby attractions. (John's Pass is a MUST!)

Quaint cottage

The location was amazing! Such a short walk to the beach!!!! Wear your flip flops bc the sand is HOT!!! So now on to the problems....when we arrived someone was in our parking spot and there was no where to park, I called the 800 number on my reservation email and they got my number and had someone call me....well that person said he would take care of it and nothing happened...finally later that night the person parked in our spot left (bc they were not staying there!!) so we finally had some where to park. Then our code wouldn’t work to get into the room so they had to give us another code. Then I realized that we didn’t have beach towels or bath towels!!! We ended up going to wal- mart and buying bath towels bc no one came to bring us any even after we called and text. The cottage was so quaint and adorable but hot!! There are 2 little window units which do not put out much cold air in the hot Florida heat. They really need fans!! The tv in the bedroom only plays DVD’s it is not hooked up to the cable. The first morning we went to walk to the beach and someone was having a wedding in the back area so we had to walk around...that made me mad bc we paid to be here to use that area and we never go to bc of the wedding,reception, and then birthday/baby shower (which they had a cake and left it in the sand which caused ants!) So although a great location and very adorable cabin I think maybe they need someone on site to police the guest that abuse the location and to help the guest that need help with like towels!!

The rooms were the size as expected per previous comments before reserving.

The rooms were the size as expected per previous comments before reserving. The bathroom shower is extremely small. When we arrived, the door code emailed to me days prior did not work. I was texted within 15 minutes with a correct room code. Unfortunately though we couldnt park in our deisgned parking spot because if one person barely got outside their spot, it messed up all the spots. I was told to use someone elses spot (which were all full) or go across the street. To me, that is unacceptable. It causes much unneeded stress while trying to unload a weeks worth of luggage with two little kids. We have had to deal with getting our spot every time we leave and cant pull back in. This needs to be corrected. We only recieved two beach towels for the whole week when we reserved the room for four people when paid for. I asked the attendant and she gave us more. The location is great and the seating area and beach chairs are nice to use.

Paradise!

Love, love, love! Perfect vacation for my husband and some of my extended family! They stayed in #2 and loved it also! Rustic, but clean and comfortable! We are already making plans for next year! The beach is breathtaking, waves, shells, birds, you name it.... Even a really, really cool drum circle on Sunday! We enjoyed our stay so much, it'll be hard to wait till next vacation! Also management really, really nice and helpful!

Great stay

Right on the beach, Location is perfect, Publix supermarket across Gulf Blvd for all your groceries and supplies. Nice barbecue area with an open log fire, plenty of seating and tables. Staff went out their way, helping with extra parking, the cleaning staff very friendly. The cottage #1 was very comfortable for the two of us. Sunsets were amazing, saw Dolphins everyday. See you next year Seahorse Cottage
