Inverness, CA. Fantastischer Ort für Familie und Freunde. Zwei Minuten zu Fuß zum Chicken Ranch Beach on Tomales Bay - eine tolle lokalen Strand für Familien. Stundenlang am Strand und dann zu Fuß zurück zum Haus, um einen Panoramablick auf die Bucht, Black Mountain und die Landschaft, Vogelbeobachtung und ruhig, sternenklare Nächte genießen.

Nur wenige Minuten von zahlreichen Meer und die Bucht Strände und Wanderungen in Point Reyes National Seashore und Tomales Bay State Park. Kajakverleih, nur 200 Meter die Straße hinunter.

3 Zi, 2 + BA (3 Duschen, 1 Badewanne); Panoramablick auf die Bucht von Wohnbereichen und Schlafzimmern; geräumigen Deck mit herrlichem Blick, Wi-Fi, Kabel-TV, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner.

Dies ist ein perfekter Ort für 3 Paare oder zwei kleine Familien.

Haupthaus verfügt über 2 BR, 1BA und Küche; angebracht Ferienhaus verfügt über 1BR, 1BA. Beide Haus und Hütte haben Kaminöfen - Brennholz zur Verfügung gestellt. Garage für zwei Autos mit Tischtennisplatte für temperament Wettbewerben. Schlamm Zimmer mit Dusche für einfache Reinigung von Tagesaktivitäten.

Sonnig, große Küche komplett ausgestattet mit Kochutensilien, Gewürze und Heftklammern bestückt. (Wenn wir nicht die Vermietung des Hauses, verwenden wir es für Familienfeiern und Feste.) Weber Grillabende.

Eine Meile von Inverness Gemischtwarenladen, Bäckerei und Geschäfte, fünf Meilen von Point Reyes Station Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Bäckereien und Restaurants.

Mindestaufenthalt: Während der Hochsaison (24. Mai - 30. November) in der Regel benötigen wir 3-tägigen Aufenthalt bei einem Aufenthalt von Freitag oder Samstag Nacht oder am Hauptferien (Neujahr, MLK, Präsidenten, Memorial, Independence, Arbeit, Thanksgiving, Weihnachten,). Always a lovely place to be

This wonderful home is a true favorite for me and my family (including our dog!) As soon as we approach it, we all get excited. Perfectly situated, with a fabulous view of Tomales Bay, near to beaches and hiking, and close to tasty restaurants and well stocked grocery stores. It can't be beat! Locke is an excellent host, and the home is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well appointed for a rejuvenating getaway. 5 stars every time we visit!

Wonderful place to stay

My family and I love staying at this beautiful property. It's our favorite "getaway" spot that never disappoints, regardless of the weather or the time of year. The views from the comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces can't be beat. It has easy access to beaches and walking trails, as well as tasty restaurants and markets. Even our dog gets excited when we pull into the driveway!

Very comfortable home

This is our second birthday visit to this lovely Inverness property. It worked perfectly for us - spacious and warm, with a wonderful view of Tomales Bay. In particular, I loved having a separate bedroom & bath across the deck. And the view was the best from this bed! Speaking of views, it would be great if the landscaping would be trimmed around the deck so people sitting on the deck (& in the house) could see the view of the bay.

Always a joy to visit

My family and I are always happy to stay at this wonderful house - even our dog gets excited as we arrive. The property is comfortable and has everything you need, and is always clean and well cared for. The indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing and spending time together. And the views can't be beat! We love the location and its proximity to beaches and hikes, as well as access to tasty food in the nearby towns. We can't wait to visit again!

A family favorite

My family loves to visit West Marin and stay at this lovely home in Inverness. It's location is a perfect starting point for countless hiking and beach adventures. And the views out across Tomales Bay are spectacular. There are great restaurants nearby, and convenient markets in Inverness Park and Point Reyes Station. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and always clean and cared for. And we love the coastal mid-century design and aesthetic. The host is responsive and lovely to communicate with. We can't wait for our next visit!

Beautiful weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this well loved home. The house was even nicer than the photos and well-stocked. We loved the amazing view of Tomales Bay, hanging out on the large deck, and space enough for everyone to have some privacy. My husband and I loved that we could retreat to the cottage while our kids slept in the house. We brought kayaks and were able to get on the water early…the beach is only minutes away, plus quick access to Point Reyes and incredible hiking. The only complaint we heard was that the beds, while adequate, could be updated. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful bday getaway

Visited to celebrate my birthday with my husband, mom & stepdad, cousin & her hubby, my brother and his fiance (who live in the area). It was our first visit to see my brother and the Point Reyes/Inverness area and we had a wonderful time thanks to our VRBO hosts and my little brother who did a great job as our tour guide. The home was wonderful and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need (even duplicates of everything you need!). We had a lovely dinner at home the first night and enjoyed being able to have the comforts of home while away and visiting from different cities. Locke was extremely helpful and considerate when sending info and quick to respond to texts when we needed (couldn't find a light switch or something). We'd really love to make this an annual trip if we can, and would choose this home every time if it's available!

We came here to celebrate our Thanksgiving a bit late. Everything you could possibly need to cook a grand meal is provided. The beds are very comfy. The weather was a bit rainy (yay!) so the big windows were perfect for staring out at the gorgeous view.

Our Third Visit

We love the house and the location near Chicken Beach. The kitchen has everything one could need to have a family feast. The deck and view are wonderful for hanging out after a day of beach or hiking. Our family loves this house and Inverness. It is our first choice.

For 40 years our family has spent New Year's Eve on North Beach. When we got the opportunity to buy a vacation home in Inverness we knew it was perfect! We love how close this is to the East Bay and to San Francisco. A complete retreat away from the hustle and bustle, but we can still get back to it if we need to. This house has been a great family retreat, for hiking, going to the beach or just being together for meals, reading books, watching movies and playing games. We're happy to share it with you.

Whether it's raining out or sunny, or cold and foggy, waking up in Inverness you feel relaxed after a quiet night's sleep and enveloped in the natural beauty. The large spacious deck is like an extra enlarged living room. Whether basking in some sun, ducking under the umbrella, or bundled up on a cold foggy day - drinking coffee, eating a meal, reading a book, watching the birds or having a glass of something to drink together or alone - this deck is filled with great moments and a great view!

We love walking up to the house, opening the front door and.....walking onto the deck! It always surprises people to open the front door and to be on the deck and seeing the view of beautiful Tomales Bay. You can walk to Chicken Ranch beach in 2 minutes, 10 mins drive to Shell Beach and it's a short drive to any number of ocean beaches or hiking trails. A 10 minute drive to Pt. Reyes station.
