Tucked away above street level, behind a terraced garden, this ground level apartment has a fluid design layout. Well appointed, intimate, yet comfortable urban space in a fantastic neighborhood. Huge outdoor patio with seating and BBQ option. 1/2 block from Lady Byrd Cafe, eclectic shops and other dining opportunities within close proximity. Laundry. Public transportation 1/2 block.
The space
Bright light one bedroom urban apartment w/ 1 bath - sleeps up to 2 people.
This property is nestled in an urban hillside neighborhood with all the comforts of city living within a one mile radius. The area hosts a variety of restaurants, wine bars, boutiques, and music venues. Most of the entertainment and shopping hotspots are accessible within a five minute drive. Our street terminates at the longest flight of stairs in Los Angeles, which sit atop the ridge of Elysian Park. In the park you will find picnic areas, hiking trails and vistas overlooking downtown, Dodger's Stadium and the Hollywood sign.
The apartment is tucked away behind a terraced garden, surrounded by greenery, above street level. A unique urban dwelling that has been designed to maximize space, by keeping each area as open and roomy as possible. Four windows flood the unit with natural light, cellular roman shades can black-out the space for added comfort.

Additional rules
We strive to provide a comfortable and quiet stay for all our guests. Therefore, smoking is only allowed outside on the private patio. All noise needs to keep at a minimum. No large parties are allowed onsite, but we can provide recommendations for special event services that are offsite.

We like this area because of its proximity to city life and activities yet it is well removed with mature trees, hills and a friendly neighborhood. It also has good access to public transportation, great food options close, interesting architecture and cultural diversity.

This property was built in 1903 with an original center hall Victorian design. It was converted to a triplex in the 30's. It is situated on a hill built into bedrock with a terraced garden. The terraced area offers private patios for each unit with the grand stairway dividing the two. There are high ceilings and a lush garden.
