The Space:

Located in the serene West Beach area, this three-bedroom, three-bath retreat offers stunning, uninterrupted views of the Emerald Coast and is just a five-minute drive from popular spots like The Hangout, shops, and restaurants.

Step into beachy bliss with an open-concept living and dining area featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a farm sink, white-washed knotty pine boards, and exposed wood beams. SouthWind West comfortably accommodates up to eight guests with one king bed, two queen beds, and a set of twin bunk beds, providing 1,663 square feet of relaxing living space.

Although part of a duplex, SouthWind West ensures complete privacy while sharing private beach access with its counterpart. The home is elevated on pilings, requiring guests to climb stairs to the main floor, with additional stairs leading to the upper-level bedrooms. Guests will receive the entry code prior to arrival.

Upon entry, you’ll be greeted by a bright, open living, dining, and kitchen area—perfect for gathering with friends and family. The living room features a comfy sofa, cozy chairs, and a flat-screen smart TV with Hulu. Guests can sign into their own accounts for streaming and are reminded to log out before departure. The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials, including a drip coffee maker, K-cup machine, pots, pans, and utensils.

The main-level guest room includes a queen bed, twin bunk beds, and a private balcony. A full bath with a tub/shower combo is also located on this floor, along with a washer and dryer. Upstairs, the master bedroom features a king bed, ensuite bath with a walk-in shower and double vanity, and a private balcony with Gulf views. The second upstairs guest room includes a queen bed and access to the third full bath.

An outdoor shower with hot and cold water is available for rinsing off after a day at the beach. SouthWind West also features a Weber charcoal grill for outdoor cooking—just be sure to bring your BBQ supplies and pull the grill out from under the house before use.

Beach Information:
Swimming in the Gulf of Mexico differs greatly from pool swimming. Guests are urged to respect the water's strength and protect local marine life. Riptides are a concern, so please stay vigilant about water conditions. Check tide and weather updates before entering the Gulf. Our vacation rentals are near nature preserves, home to diverse wildlife. Please watch your step and avoid disturbing creatures like snakes, rabbits, coyotes, and more. Leave beach equipment off the shore overnight to protect nesting sea turtles, especially during their May to October nesting season. It's crucial to respect sea turtles, as disturbing them or their nests is a federal offense. Avoid leaving beach gear or bright lights on the beach overnight, as they disorient baby turtles. Help preserve our endangered species. For recycling on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, guests must take items to the firehouse by Sassy Bass Market. The facility accepts aluminum, cardboard, and plastic; glass is not accepted.

Beach Equipment:
At Beats Working, we don't provide beach gear like chairs or umbrellas at our beach homes. However, we do offer beach towels, and we can connect you with trusted rental companies for all your beach needs. Check your check-in message for details.
