Comfortable and Inviting Home

Our stay was great. The house was easy to find conveniently located for a trip to visit our Navy man and beach. House was exactly as described and was true to pictures. Check in was smooth and easy thanks to the simple directions and key box. We found the house had everything we needed. Keuring for groggy mornings, simple pantry items, ice maker and nicely stocked kitchen. Also, we had plenty of towels, extra sheets and pillow available. Our girls loved coming back for a nice bubble bath in the garden tub after a long day. We found some great restaurants nearby including the Taproom down the road that featured live music. Also, the drive down to Sullivan's Island/ Isle of Palm was only 30 minutes (about half the drive time to Folley with the Summer Traffic). Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book for future trips.

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Mindy's airbnb home. Spacious, clean, three bedrooms, with plenty of bathrooms to go around. It was an ideal location, too, for all the activities we did. Roughly about 25 minutes from them all: city, plantations, beach. The only down-side was that the WIFI did not work properly. But we would definitely stay there again!

Great layout. Good location. Needs updates and repairs.

We're locals who needed a rental to support our family from up north. We decided on this house due to the location and price for the area. Layout of the house was great. Ample bathrooms and large bedrooms. Living room had cozy seating and decent space. Owner was super accommodating and easy to work with. We gave 3 stars because of the issues we encountered in the home. Original check in time was 4:00 PM so we were pleasantly surprised when we were told the house was ready at 2:30 PM. Accessing the house and the key was easy, but when we opened the front door we were hit with a wall of heat. Entering a house in the dead of summer and seeing the thermostat read 80 degrees was not fun. Especially when you have to lug groceries and luggage in and out. After dropping the temp and pushing through the sweat the temp did drop after a couple hours. The door to the garage would only lock at the handle, not the dead bolt and that was only after putting your weight on the door. A good push from in the garage could have easily made it open again. The bedroom on the right at the top of the stairs had a huge water spot on the ceiling from a past leak and the bathroom in the downstairs master had the same thing only smaller. Both stains were eyesores and definitely took away from the cleanliness of the rooms. The same room on the right at the top of the stairs did not have a ceiling light. The only fixture was a two headed lamp that was taped to keep one of the heads in place. The white sheets in the master and upstairs left bedroom were stained. The towels appeared to be from a hotel supply store and a few had hairs from past renters still on/in them. The kitchen had ample plates, cups and silverware, but lacked cookware. We had to cook in batches. Overall, this house did the job, but I would suggest fixing some of the above issues to help with the appearance and comfort for future guests.

Convenient, clean, and quiet!

Stayed here with some co-workers while attending a conference in North Charleston. The house was conveniently located in a very quiet neighborhood not too far off the high way. Access to the convention center was only about a 10 minute drive. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed - except we couldn't find a hair dryer!

Spacious house, close to everything.

Our family stayed here and just loved it. Beds were so comfortable, and bedrooms were a great size. Nice large bathrooms and big kitchen. My husband and sons really enjoyed all the leather reclining furniture in the living room. Cable, wi-fi, and even Roku. Safe, quiet, family neighborhood. Lots of literature on the area (thanks for that Mindy). Walmart, restaurants, etc. less than 10 minutes away. We went to sites all over the Charleston area and all were less than a 20 minute drive away... great location. Must see the Angel Oak Tree, Patriot's Point, Downtown Market/Historical District, Boone Plantation, and absolutely must go to Red's Ice House in Mt. Vernon for the best crab legs ever! Don't forget the Waterfront Park/Pier where they have two fountains and porch swings all the way down the pier to enjoy the beautiful water views. Will be staying here again if we return to Charleston. Bright, clean house and loved that the master was on the main floor.

Enjoyed our stay

Great home for 3 couples to spend time together in Charleston. The home was clean and spacious for us each to have our separate bedroom and then share the common areas comfortably. Great value.

Convenient to the airport, clean and spacious

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious 3 bedroom home in a residential neighborhood. The only drawback was the upstairs air conditioning wasn't very effective.

Clean and comfortable

This property has plenty of room. It is located close to the freeway and airport, and historic Charleston and the beach were less than 30 minutes away. The neighborhood was quiet. Bedrooms and the kitchen are fairly large. My bed had a memory foam mattress topper and was really comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean. It is not fancy, but very serviceable. I think it is a great value.

Everything You Need

Lovely, spacious home that is close to everything. This house is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We could not have asked for a better rental for our weekend stay with children. My only wish was for a traditional coffee pot... (they have a Keurig, so bring your K-cups!) We would most definitely stay again.

Nice stay in Charleston

We did not spend a lot of time at the house but enjoyed the comfortable seating in the living room. Also we greatly appreciated the hospitality Mindy showed. A selection of k-cups, tea bags and sugar & creamer was supplied for the Keurig, a basket with bottled water and chocolates also. It is so nice to be able to stay at a house where you can move around as opposed to a hotel room. Everything was very clean (with the exception of the carpets..they either need to be professionally cleaned or replaced). All in all, it was our first trip to Charleston and we will certainly be back.

Great place for a family stay

We loved this house. The review about the carpet was correct, but all the other things Mindy thought of more than made up for it! This is by far the best stocked house I've stayed in. There were small shower toiletries available. The kitchen was very well stocked with more than just salt and pepper. She also left a welcome basket of chips, water, and chocolate. Only thing missing was a small hairdryer. Not a big deal at all, but considering all the other things available to make the stay more enjoyable, was surprised there wasn't one. The neighborhood was great. I ran every morning,minus the gator I saw, I felt completely safe with my family of 4.ould definitely stay again.

It's Hot in Charleston

This home is nestled in a very quiet neighborhood. Mindy provided outstanding customer service accommodating us with an early check-in. From the outside, you would think the home is small but once you enter there's lots of space to separate you from the teenagers. (Yeah) Mindy thought of everything.

Overall, the house had what we needed.

My husband and I rented the house with friends for a weekend getaway and concert. The house is tucked into a nice neighborhood. My husband enjoyed the sidewalks and was able to get his daily run in without hindrance. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed is that the carpets are in desperate need of professional cleaning. (I must add that my husband manages a carpet care company in our hometown so we are highly critical of floor maintainance.) There are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and 2.5 bathrooms. Though the decor is a bit out-dated and hodge-podge, the house had everything we needed. We were not there long enough to take advantage of the kitchen but it was fully stocked with cook ware, utensils and dishes. The knives were even high quality (which is a rare find in vacation rentals). There was a lovely basket full of chips, water and chocolate. Also, there was a Keurig machine with a selection of k-cups, tea bags and sugar & creamer. The bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of towels/wash cloths to go around. We had enough hot water for all 6 adults to take showers back-to-back. The towel Rod in the master bathroom is broken, FYI. The beds were comfortable as were the couches in the living room. The at conditioning worked well and we all stayed nice and cool. We took advantage of the washer and dryer. We brought our own laundry detergent but detergent was provided. The house is a relatively short commute to Volvo Car Stadium and Downtown Charleston. We found plenty of amenities nearby (gas stations, pharmacy, grocery store...). We did not spend much time at the house as we were out and about most of the weekend. However, it had everything essential for a comfortable stay. The reason for my four-star rating is due to the carpets needing a serious cleaning and the garage smelled like cat pee (we decided to just park in the driveway). I would stay in this house again.

Best Visit to Charleston, SC

The home was just as it was represented on the website. It was in a nice and quiet neighborhood. I pleasantly surprised, not having traveled to North Charleston before. It shows that Mindy takes pride in and care in her property, as it was clean and well-maintained. Mindy provided us with the things we would have gotten at a hotel and so much more. There was more than enough space for all of us. The property is in a very good location. We needed a few items and the one of 3 shopping centers was less than 10 minutes away. We had easy access to the highway so it did not take us much time to get to most attractions. Mindy was very responsive and accommodating. I especially appreciated the sofa beds in 2 of the rooms. We could have accommodated more in our party. The snacks, water, and the Keurig coffee machine were an extra bonus :-) I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in North Charleston.

Great stay

We had a wonderful experience with the house. It was in a perfect location to get to Charleston Southern University(where my son was playing baseball) and just a short 15 minute drive to the heart of Charleston. Everything was provided for us. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see chips and chocolate on the counter. What a nice touch. The house was fully equipped with everything from linens, towels, toiletries, to you name it. Thanks for sharing your house with us. We would definitely go back if the opportunity arises.

Girls Weekend

Thank you, so much for the use of your home. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time in Charleston! There were a few things that would have made the stay a little more enjoyable. Televisions in the bedrooms and a dvd/Blu-ray player in the living room. Some baking pans for cookies and biscuits. Maybe some extra fans in the rooms too. Also, make sure the grass is always kept trim. Otherwise, the house was very cozy and lovely. We would definitely stay again.
