Hallo ich bin Joe. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem Ort zum Entspannen, Wandern, Skifahren oder einfach nur zum Genießen der Natur sind, ist dies der perfekte Ort. Die Hütte liegt zwischen zwei Bergen auf einer 1/4 Meile Einfahrt sehr privat.

Mit einem rustikalen Look auf der Außenseite, während das Innere ist sehr luxuriöse Top-of-the-Line-Geräte, Waschmaschine und Trockner, geräumige Küche offen zum Wohnbereich für die Unterhaltung. Ein Deck im zweiten Stock mit einem Außenwhirlpool Die Hütte verfügt über ein Hauptschlafzimmer und ein ausziehbares Bett im Schnittsofa. Zusätzliche Schlafgelegenheit auf Zusatzbetten, Kinderbett. Das Erdgeschoss hat auch zwei Liegestühle vor einem Holzofen und eine überdachte Veranda mit Sofa und Stühlen.

Wir sind in der Nähe von Babcock State Park, der New River für Kajak und Angeln und nur 45 Minuten von Winterplace für ausgezeichnete Ski. Wir sind auf 100 Hektar und neben dem New River National Forest mit Meilen von Wanderwegen zum Wandern oder Reiten ATV oder Pferde. Dies ist auch eine großartige zentrale Lage, um viele der Festivals in der Umgebung zu genießen.

Dies ist eine ländliche Gegend, also sollten Sie Ihre Lebensmittel mitbringen. obwohl es in Danese einen Dollar Store ein paar Meilen die Straße hinauf gibt. Regelmäßige Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind in Beckley. ungefähr 20 Meilen entfernt.

Getaway

We wanted a little cabin in the woods away from the public and this home away from away was the perfect place. This cabin is equipped with all the most modern kitchen equipment one could ask for. It’s a cozy little place for a couple or a family of four. And the home host is very receptive to any concerns you may have. So worth the drive and stay.

Breathtaking

We were traveling from Florida,just looking for some snow and secluded spot.We have 3 German Shepherds,one of them is not friendly.Joe’s spot was was just what we needed.We got the whole mountain all to ourselves,easy drive,lots of snow and fun.Saw a deer on our hike.Will definitely be back,my favorite place to be ,didnt want to leave.

Thanks for sharing your cabin with us! Enjoy the little things!!Great outdoor space. Great cabin off the beaten path. Very private and so peaceful. Family get away

Took wife and both adult kids for a long weekend for my wife's birthday. Great time. Joe gives you full access to his little slice of heaven. No horses in December for us but tons of piece and quiet. Make the 10 mile drive to Babcock state forest. If you like tattoos get ahold of wolf sing ink in mt hope. 25 minute drive from cabin and this guy is top notch in the business. Joe we'll be back very soon.

AMAZING SPOT! DEFINITELY BOOK IT!

My partner and our 4 dogs had an absolute blast!! The cabin is very cute, comfortable, and fully stocked in all things from blankets to kitchenware! The property is large, fun, adventurous, peaceful, and truly enjoyable. Our dogs LOVED running off leash, swimming in the pond, and walking the trails. The hottub is a huge plus!! If you book, definitely plan your meals ahead of time and bring groceries - it's worth it. Joe is a great host and answered so many questions of mine - he was very patient with me. We will surely be back - it's a good place to escape to!

Stunning cabin in the woods

Thank you!--Such a beautiful place! We were sold already when the gentle horses came up to us to let us pet them when we arrived but the whole experience was lovely for my husband, 4-year-old, 9-month-old and dog and I. Very comfortable cabin with everything we needed and the hot tub overlooking the forest is stunning after going for a hike. Many options for groceries/restaurants/hiking/climbing about 30-45 min away which worked well for us and we appreciated the quiet location. Honestly it was an amazing experience just to spend time at and explore the property. All our human and canine sons did not want to leave!

Lovely quiet retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is huge and they had 2 horses that were so friendly. The place is pretty remote, which was an adjustment for our teen girls, but they ended up having a lot of fun. Great communication with our host, too!

Secluded and rustic

Very nice property. The cabin looks a little rough on the outside but inside it is nice. Great kitchen. Good internet connection. Very secluded/private property but not far from the National Park. Plenty of areas to hike and explore on the property and the horses are friendly.

Property was perfect for our three night stay. We loved the horses and getting to feed them apples. Our dog enjoyed getting to free roam on the property. There are so many cool hikes in the New River Gorge area, filled with history of the mining sites.

Wonderful Stay! Absolutely Beautiful 😍

This property is stunning and has so much history! We didn’t even come close to exploring all the wonders this property has to offer. The cabin is so relaxing and has an amazing atmosphere and vibe. Stargazing is like no other, especially while relaxing in the hotub. The horses were a huge bonus and are yet another reason this cabin and property are a must. Thank you so much Joe!! Stunning and peaceful

Wonderful location to find some quiet and solitude. Beautiful property with wonderful trails. Even on the rainy day we had sitting on the patio with a hot cup of tea and a warm blanket listening to the rain hit the tin roof and splash on the pond was serene. We were provided plenty of clean towels, sheets and blankets. The upstairs is beautiful and everything I hoped for in a cabin in the woods. We will definitely be coming back, hopefully in the fall when the colors of the mountains come alive. Thank you Joe for sharing this treasure.

The best dog friendly getaway ever!

My family and I loved Joe's property! I brought my two dogs with me and I cannot tell you how nice it was to be able to let them off leash to explore his amazing property without having to worry about other people or dogs! His property is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the woods and creek. Listening to the symphony of peepers at night under the stars while relaxing in the hot tub was fantastic. It was a close enough drive to get in all the hikes we wanted to do at New River Gorge NP but far enough away to feel peaceful and secluded. The beds were SO comfortable! The kitchen was an absolute dream with everything we needed to make some yummy dinners and play games on the large kitchen island! The gas grill has seen better days but we managed with the grill pan provided and the charcoal grill did just fine 😁 thank you so much Joe!!! I will definitely be back!!

Dog gone fun!

My wife and I visit the Smokies every fall to hike but unfortunately dogs aren't allowed on the trails. We stumbled upon Joseph's cabin when searching for a place we could take them and more than a year later, we finally booked it for our anniversary weekend. It was peaceful having the place to ourselves and being able to have our 3 dogs off leash the whole time. They had a blast running the trails, playing in the streams, and swimming in the pond. They were exhausted! While they snoozed downstairs, we enjoyed ourselves in the spacious upstairs making dinner and relaxing on the large couch. After dark we kicked back in the hot tub and took in the clear night sky full of stars. Between the modern amenities, stocked kitchen, and Joseph checking in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, it felt more like staying a family members house. Keep that in mind during your stay; this IS someones house, not some hotel. Take care of it and leave it in better condition than when you arrived. Joseph, thanks for sharing your home and we look forward to our next visit.
