Clean, comfortable, spacious & Convenient to Disney parks!!

Excellent stay!! The house is more spacious than it looks in the pictures. The master bedroom is in the front of the house next to the game room and the other 3 bedrooms are in the back of the house. I enjoyed the added privacy. The pool was heated nicely for us and so comfortable. I enquired on when the pool would be cleaned and the owner had the pool serviced the same day! That was awesome!! One minor inconvenience was that there was not a griddle or skillet that was large enough to make French Toast for my family of 7. The only skillet was a small one just big enough for 1 slice of bread at a time. However that was just a minor inconvenience. Also, bring your own wash cloth. The beds were very comfortable. The showers were large and spa like. The water pressure was slightly low but not terrible. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!! Thank you for your hospitality!!

The place was ok.

We were in Florida for a work convention and a few extras days with our wives. We booked this house for a few reasons including location, heated pool, and price. The house itself was ok. Its amenities were bare minimum. You get 1 bath towel, 1 pool towel and 1 hand towel per bed space so if you’re going to be there longer than a weekend be prepared to do laundry. They give you 2 laundry pods so if you have a family be prepared to buy more. Toilet paper is the same, there is 1 roll in each bathroom and that’s it. It’s also the cheapest and roughest toilet paper made. The kitchen is sparse so if you plan to do some meals at home be prepared to buy everything including most spices. The interior of the home is in need of a “freshen up.” There are stains on many of the walls from general use and cooking that are in need of paint. The sheets are very cheap and rough and the beds are cheap metal frames that squeak with every movement. The pool was nice to have, but there are no side privacy fences between backyards so be prepared to have weird neighbors watching you (Probably your wives and daughters)through windows as we did. We did pay the extra to have the pool heated and they do send a message fully disclosing the pool nor the hot tub get “hot” and they are correct. The pool was enjoyable, but believe them when they tell you the hot tub doesn’t get much if any hotter than the pool. And when you turn the jets on it feel like it’s blowing cold water. We’ll look elsewhere next time

Didn’t meet expectations

The house was a little less than expected. The home needs some tender loving care. In addition, there is a large Raccoon who does his daily feeding in the waste holder outside in the driveway. He visits every home on the block. I reported him to the security attendant. On the plus side, the home is nicely location to all Disney activities.

Adequate accommodations

Really disappointed with the fact that THIS HOUSE DOES NOT HAVE A HOT TUB even though it advertises a hot tub. I search for days through many different homes for a list of requests for each of the adults: game room, king bed, access to gym and all wanted a hot tub to enjoy in the evenings after our business conference. I should have chosen a different place.

Great place to stay.

This was a great home to stay in with a couple of my adult children and a grandchild. The home was just as nice as the photos show and it was larger than I expected. There was lots of room. It's in a great location in a gated community with a really nice pool area which was good for all ages. It had a small water slide area and a splash pad as well as a large pool.

Great house in a great location

Of the 5 homes we've stayed at in Kissimmee over the past two years, this may be my favorite yet. The neighborhood offers easy access to the Disney parks and everything is well maintained. The neighborhood was also quiet which was a plus after those long days in the park. The TVBH team was super responsive. I reached out regarding an issue at 9:00pm one night and had a response back within 5 minutes and they were ready to have a handyman out the next morning. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great visit!

The place was easy to find and convenient for our friends to visit. It was clean and we had a heron welcome us to the property! We did not leave the area. The pool table accessories could use some updating.

Horrible Stay with The Best Vacation Homes

This property had the potential to be great but it was the management company, The Best Vacation Homes, that was a nightmare. From the moment we showed up at this property, it was a nightmare. We were first sent the wrong check in information for our house (after driving over 1,200 miles) and we were then sent to a house 15 miles away. Once we got there, my 5 year old discovered shards of glass in the pool and on the pool deck. Two members of our party soon had small shards of glass stuck in their feet. While members of my family were in their hands and knees gathering other small shards off of the pool deck, we noticed that there was water bubbling up from the grout when we we stepped on the floor tiles. (It should be noted that at the time of our move to a new house two days later, the glass issue in the pool still hadn’t been attended to.) Over the next 48 hours, the house was a flurry of maintenance leaving us completely disheveled and unable to relax. It was soon discovered that there was a blockage in the ac unit and that it was causing water to leak down the inside of a wall and into the floor resulting in water seeping underneath the tiles. It was then decided that six industrial fans were needed to help dry the floor out to help prevent mold growth. We were then strongly encouraged (48 hours after check-in) to move from this property to another. The negligence of The Best Vacation Homes to the needs and distresses of their guests is very disappointing. Be wary.

Nice place but needs some updating

There was a huge lack of flatware, plates, bowels, glasses, coffee mugs, cooking utensils pots & pans. There also wasn’t any pot holders. The mattresses need to be replaced too. There was inadequate outdoor setting. We ended up going to Walmart and buying camp chairs so we could all be outside at the same time. One of the kitchen table chairs was missing. The coffee table in the living area with the tv leg came off when we tried moving the table. We enjoyed the house and pool area and game room, the house just needs a little tlc.

Disney Vacay March 2023

Easy, easy, and easy. Only a couple very minor issues, but the property management company was very quick to remedy them. Very clean, and comfortable. Location to Disney is excellent and NO TOLLS!!! Would definitely stay here again, and recommend! Hope to be back soon!!

Adventures in Kissimeee

The property was clean, however, the furniture in the tv area was worn out and had an odor to it. The house next door had a security system that talked when it sensed motion. Unfortunately, a family of raccoons regularly tore into the trash containers which meant the security system talked all night. Granted not a fault of the property owners, but annoying just the same when the master bedroom was right next to neighbors anchored alarm system. The cage around the pool was padlocked on both entrances. Was worrisome in case of emergency. I didn’t know that they could be locked with the house occupied. Management group was very nice to work with. Loved the location to the theme parks.

RELAXING & PEACEFUL HOME

The house was beautiful and very spacious for my entire family. There were several things that needed attention but overall my family enjoyed the house. For one, I called about the slide screen to the pool area twice and that was never resolved. The bedding in the Super Mario room could use a little upgrading. There were small stains here and there. Nothing huge....And it would have been really nice if they had wash clothes to go along with the bath and hand towels. Again, I must say the home is extremely gorgeous and was very comfortable for my entire family.

Great stay

Did not get to experience the warmth of the hot tub or pool. The pool or hot tub did not get warm enough to enjoy. This was one of the main purposes of choosing the place to enjoy the hot tub and pool. Everything else was good except had to purchase wash cloths. There were none available.

Overall nice property with a few minor blips

Overall I really liked this house and I would stay there again. Good location only 15 minutes from Disney and 30 minutes from Universal. Many restaurants nearby, and a Super Target only 3 minutes away. Master bed comfortable, as well as the two twin beds in the Super Mario bedroom and the bed in other bedroom without an attached bathroom. However, the person in our group that stayed in the last bedroom (the other one with an attached bathroom) said that the bed in that room was not comfortable. All bathrooms were very nice with great water pressure. Good sized kitchen, dining and family room areas, as well as nice pool area. A sign by the thermostat said the lowest we could set it was 72 degrees, so we did, and it always felt cool and nice in the house. Washer and dryer worked well. My kids loved the game room in the garage. Minor issues: The first night we returned from the theme parks the battery had gone bad in one of the smoke detectors on a high up ceiling and was beeping every minute. Called the emergency number for the property management company (which is really just their regular number) and nobody answered; in fact it said their mailbox was full but it did allow me to leave a message. Waited 10 minutes but nobody called back. So I emailed them and marked it emergency as instructed, and within a minute a nice woman called me back and we talked. Luckily my husband was able to borrow a ladder from someone down the street and he got up and removed the smoke detector and its battery. Next day someone came by and tried to fix it but left a note that couldn't, but returned the next day and it was fixed. So if you have to reach them I would recommend to email. The pool pump to recirculate the water and spa function were not working the first half of our stay, but the pool guys came out on Day 6 out of our 10 day stay and they fixed it. No big deal for us since we only used the pool a few times anyway for a half hour each time since we were going to the theme parks a lot. Kids did finally use it at the end of the trip for a few hours one day and loved it.

Quiet neighborhood, very close to Disney parks, great house

We will never rent a hotel again! Homes with private pools, game rooms, and multiple bedrooms beat a hotel stay any day, our opinion of course. And for less than 2 separate rooms in a hotel. We had a great stay at this property. We had no problems entering or locking the front door, (keyless, and fantastic) everything was clean, and this house has alot of space. 2 living rooms, which i didn't notice with the photos at first. We loved it overall, and would love to stay again. Thank you! The Zemanick family
