We understand the need to stay connected, which is why we offer fiber internet as part of our rental package. And rest assured, we comply with all Chelan County vacation rental requirements - our property has a rental permit #000231 and is recognized as a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin situated on a spacious acre and a half of beautiful pine trees and native vegetation.

With cozy beds and fluffy pillows, a well-stocked kitchen for any chef, and plenty of room for kids to play, you'll have everything you need to unwind and reconnect with your loved ones. And for those seeking adventure, the sledding hill is just a 5-minute walk from the cabin, offering hours of fun for all ages.
We understand that pets are part of the family, which is why we allow up to 2 dogs with a nightly pet fee of $25 per dog. Please ensure that your pets are house trained and at least 2 years old. We provide pet kennels and beds upon request, and we kindly ask that you pick up after your pets to maintain the cleanliness of our cabin.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love the convenient access to snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking right from the property. For those looking to fish, Fish Lake is just a short drive away and offers boat and pontoon rentals for your fishing adventures. And for a day trip, Stevens Pass and Leavenworth are both within a 35-minute drive, offering a variety of year-round activities including wine tasting.

Reservation dates: When you make your reservation, we reserve the number of nights specified. If you decide not to stay for all the nights reserved our cancellation policy will apply.
Left behinds: Black bear is not responsible for items left and because of multiple guests we do not know who it may belong to. If you call within 24 hours after your stay, we will do our best to get the item to you. After 7 days items go to charity. Shipping charges are your responsibility. You will be charged a $10 service fee in addition to the actual postage required. So PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK FOR YOUR ITEMS!
Smoking – Candles: No smoking or candles in home. Your credit card will be charged $150.00 for violation. Sand pots on decks are
for cigarette butts. Do not throw elsewhere due to litter and fire danger.
Damage: Black Bear complex does not charge a damage deposit. Damage beyond normal wear, determined by the manager, will be
charged to the reservation holder.
Pet: By advance permission only. Rules and fee to apply. Pets are not to be left in the home un-attended please bring a kennel or crate for your dog. Please keep pets off of furniture and beds.
Firepits: Located directly in the front of the cabin, certain times of the year outside firepits are available. During most summer months however the area is under a strict burn ban and fires will not be allowed. IF you are curious if the firepit will be available please check with your host or wait for your "particularities email" to arrive and we will let you know in that. If you are able to use the firepit PLEASE make sure the fire is COMPLETELY OUT before leaving the property.
Motorized Vehicles: Snowmobiles and trail bikes may be ridden on the fish lake trail system. Please obtain a trail map, and be responsible for making sure you are on legal trails. We ask you not start up snowmobiles/trail bikes before 7:00 am and have them parked before 10:00 pm to minimize noise in the neighborhood. You are welcome to trailer them to the "Snowpark" if you need to leave earlier or later.
Obey the community speed limit rules and assume all risk for your party and participants in these activities. Please do not ride snowmobiles/trail bikes around the house area.
Noise: As a courtesy to neighbors, music is not to be played outside and night quiet time (10 p.m.) is to be respected. Sound travels in the woods. You will get one call to quiet down. If another complaint is received the sheriff will be called and you and your group will be escorted off the property with no refund.
Hot Tubs: Rules are posted by tubs. State health rules do not allow use by children under six years to use the hot tub. We maintain hot tubs welly If you get there and the hot tub appears to have not been cleaned, please contact "sparkling spas", the phone number will be on their sign. Please put lids on tubs after use as this keeps them clean and hot.
Clean up: The washers and dryers are for your convenience. You are not expected to do cabin laundry. When leaving please turn back and used beds (leave un-made) put your towels in the washing machine and load and start the dishwasher. (do not handwash we want guest dishes sanitized thank you). If you used the barbeque during your stay, please make sure the barbeque is cleaned. Upon leaving, close cabin door and lock it behind you.
Private property: Private property surrounding the Black Bear complex is off limits.
Sumac Ln and surrounding Chiwawa community: Speed limit is 25 mph. Please be courteous to others and abide by this.
Parking: All vehicles must be parked in cabin driveways and not on Sumac Ln. If there are more than 4 vehicles, please make prior arrangements with management.
