Not as nice as it seems.
The self-check-in process was OK but prior communications were not picked up until I contacted by WhatsApp. Also, information they needed for check-in was requested very last minute (literally while we were on the flight arriving). We were then harassed for information and to settle very small fees immediately despite it being Christmas Day, which tarnished the experience and didn’t feel very personal. The cot provided was a travel cot with only the hard base and a duvet wrapped in a sheet! We waited 2 days until after Christmas to be rectified, in the meantime the baby did not sleep well. There is no soundproofing in this flat and the people above can be noisy, for us this occurred almost every night very late which disrupted sleep. It was festive period so a couple of nights is understandable but it was almost every night and difficult to bear. Unfortunately, the host was unable to resolve this issue. I would not recommend this flat if noise sensitive whatsoever, or staying with young children. Beds are very low and quite treacherous. The single beds are tiny and the mattresses slide around. The pillows and furniture need upgrading, poor quality and uncomfortable. The property is managed by a company, not the host. The company is unscrupulous and tried to charge 150 for ‘lack of cleanliness’ when we only left a few unwashed towels in front of the washing machine and a couple of glasses in the sink. The property has an ant infestation. Won’t be staying again.
