Die Villa Nicobar ist eine atemberaubende Luxusvilla in den exklusiven Galley Bay Heights Antigua. Die Villa bietet einen unverbauten Blick auf das Meer und den Strand. Die Villa verfügt über 4 Doppelzimmer und ein Einzelzimmer für 9 Personen und erstreckt sich über 7.500 m². Es wurden die luxuriösesten Produkte verwendet, die von einem internationalen Innenarchitekten in ganz Europa bezogen wurden. Die Villa verfügt über ein spektakuläres offenes Wohn- / Esszimmer, das zu einer geräumigen Veranda mit einem 10-Sitzer-Teakholztisch für Mahlzeiten im Freien führt. Die große Terrasse, der Whirlpool und der Infinity-Pool bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Karibische Meer. Das Great Room ist mit einem Flachbild-TV / SAT-System und einem BOSE-Soundsystem ausgestattet, das mit der Küche und der Terrasse verbunden ist. Der Esstisch aus Ahorn mit acht Sitzplätzen verwandelt sich auf raffinierte Weise in einen Snookertisch mit einem tiefblauen Karibikköder. Alle Schlafzimmer haben ein eigenes Bad, begehbare Regenduschen und eine eigene Veranda. Koch auf Anfrage.

Chef Service: Unser Küchenchef Vere Mayers steht Ihnen je nach Bedarf zur Verfügung. Er ist seit 18 Jahren in der Branche und begann seine Karriere mit einem Studium am Culinary Institute of America. Er hat ausgiebig in den USA sowie in der Karibik gearbeitet. Zuletzt arbeitete er als Privatkoch im 5-Sterne-Resort Jumby Bay in Antigua.

Vere ist spezialisiert auf gesunde Küche, insbesondere mediterrane und italienische Küche. Er ist auch in der Lage, asiatische und karibische Küche zuzubereiten. Gerne bespricht er mit Ihnen die Menüs für Ihren Aufenthalt, einschließlich frischem Hummer, der zweimal pro Woche 10 Minuten von der Villa Nicobar entfernt angelandet wird.

Michelle the housekeeper was the nicest person we met on the island and would do anything to better your stay including offering to bring her blender to the house for us to use because the property doesn't have one. Friends Getaway

The view is amazing! The layout is great. Pool and hot tub are wonderful. The outdoor living area is spacious and comfortable. HOWEVER.....beware of the resort at the bottom of the hill....Every day at 11:00 the load music begins, water aerobics, followed by Bingo, followed by.... and into the night. You can not walk to the beach (unless you are an athlete!) Even the driving to the house is scary!!!. We were so happy to have screens on the sliders, to leave them open and hear the ocean at night! BUT, in the morning three of us (all in different bedrooms) woke up eaten alive with so many bug bites (holes in the screens) so had to keep the glass sliders closed every night, and could not hear the ocean. There are lots of things in the house that need repair. The house keeper and home manager are incredible! Helpful, accommodating, just perfect. Michael actually caught and delivered fresh lobsters to us to cook for dinner one evening. We had a very nice dinner at Hawksbill Resort close by, and an INCREDIBLE dinner at Galley Bay Resort, even closer. The weather as perfect every day.

Fantastic family villa

We had a great stay at Nicobar. For our extended family group with a baby it made an excellent base on Antigua. The view is always fabulous and the pool and outside areas where we spent all our time were very comfortable. There are some walkable beaches and Deep Bay was a quick drive. We were well looked after with three cleans during the week and the property owner is responsive. A great stay and good value.

Location, location, location!

Very nice house. Well appointed. Beautiful view! Lovely staff. When the sanitary landfill was burning garbage (nightly when we were there) and the wind is from the right direction, the haze and odor of smoke is overwhelming. Even with a car be prepared for at least a 20-30 minute drive to the grocery store, restaurants, and many beaches and activities.

Villa Nicobar Stay

Stunning Villa location, more remote than advertised with poor access roads so do get a 4x4 vehicle. The Villa itself has not been maintained to the advertised standard but was clean & expertly maintained by housekeeper Michelle. Upon arrival, not even a bottle of water was available so we had to go shopping in the dark to get some basic supplies. Then upon our return found that the fridge was not working and there was no gas to cook. We experienced one issue after another during our 2 week stay with the electricity being cut off and the generator running out of fuel. We got to know the fabulous Michael very well due to the multiple equipment failures. I would not recommend this property.

Wonderful Week

Great week at Villa Nicobar. Michelle the housekeeper is amazing, helpful and a wonderful person to have around. Views are mazing. The sound system did not work, and the TV did not work for the first few days. There is a resort below the house that tends to get very loud- especially on Christmas night. There was an issue with a pump- came on frequently and was extremely loud. The pool is great, the beaches amazing. Renting from Tropical Car rentals was easy- car was waiting for us. We hired a chef from Montserrat, Toni James, who stayed with us the whole week- she is the best and so easy to have stay with you. Highly recommend her is you stay here. Nigel was easy to communicate with. Would stay again! Thanks Nigel.

Beautiful House & Views; Make Necessary Repairs

In 2017, we had a memorable stay at Villa Nicobar. The aesthetically pleasing house offered panoramic views. Merle, provided exceptional assistance throughout our visit. We wrote a praiseworthy review based on our experience. Although we were unable to stay in the villa in April of this year due to unavailability, we were delighted to secure a reservation for Nicobar for an unexpected trip to attend the funeral of a dear friend. Michelle, the hostess, was invaluable and made up for the shortcomings of the house. While the views remained stunning, the villa had several notable shortcomings. (1) The exterior lighting system was malfunctioning, with only a limited number of lights functional. This left us feeling unsafe and vulnerable at night. The terrace lights were particularly weak, and the pool lights were inoperable, preventing nighttime swimming, an activity we enjoyed during our previous visit. (2) The windows and doors were inoperable due to damaged screens, allowing insects to enter. Notably, a bird flew into the living room through a torn screen. (3) The furniture was also in need of repair and restoration. The dishwasher was malfunctioning, and the garbage disposal was not functioning correctly, resulting in unpleasant odors. (4) And worse, we were jolted awake by the generator alarm blaring for 15 minutes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Nicobar did not live up to its expectations this time.

The Villa was spacious and allowed for privacy for both adults and children. The pool and hot tub were ideal with lots of beach toys. The view was fabulous and the location was close to several beaches. The property manager was very helpful and supportive. We enjoyed our stay.

Villa Nicobar is amazing. It is a beautiful villa in an absolutely idyllic setting. We all tried to take photos of the beauty of the views and it simply can't be done. It is incredible. The villa itself is spacious and tasteful - the living/dining area is open plan and big. Lots of room for everyone. The outdoor terrace is also large - half of it is shaded from the sun and the pool half is in the sun. Just perfect. There is an easy walk down to a local private beach and a short drive to the beautiful beach which can be seen from the terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and stylish - and the kitchen has all you need for catering. We all just loved our stay at Villa Nicobar.

Loved this villa

The views from this property never get old! The house was immaculate, thanks to the lovely Merle, the housekeeper, and suited the needs of my husband and I and four adult children perfectly. We most appreciated the large outdoor living space, much of which is covered and gave us shelter from the numerous, but quick, showers that came through each day. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Although we took day trips to explore some of the island, we all felt as though we could have spent all our time at the villa and been perfectly content.

Our 'Leftover Antigua' Trip

Overall our group was very happy with our stay. The location and views are stunning from this house. Our host Merle was extremely helpful around the house. There were several things that need to be updated and maintained but these were small things that did not take away our overall impression of this property. As a group we all agreed that if things work out in the near future we would love to stay here again!!

Not as promised

Showed up for the first night of our stay to be greeted by a locked house with no means of entry. Once we made contact with the housekeeper, she relayed she wasn’t informed of our stay and would contact the owner. We then waited outside the home for approximately 4 hours while a crew cleaned up the place. Owner only emailed us a meager apology (stating that it has never happened before). Once we gained entry, one daughter was greeted by a mouse in her room. In addition the hot tub, ice maker, pool lights and TV didn’t function properly. Add to that a deck light that shocked my daughter, a gas range that required a lighter to work, a dishwasher that pops open mid cycle, and missing AC remotes in 2 of the bedrooms, the place wasn’t as advertised. If you want a spectacular view without any of the above amenities, this place will suit you. Otherwise pass.

Fabulous New Year stay

Nicobar is a beautiful villa with stunning views, absolutely perfect for a very chilled family holiday with teenagers. Easy walk down through the Galley Bay estate to a very quiet resort beach (Galley Bay). Views are not done justice by photos, and setting on the hillside meant that there was a cooling breeze even at the hottest part of the day. Amazing services provided by the infamous Merle, who welcomed us like family. All amenities provided within the villa were as described, exceptionally clean and in good working order. Very helpful and friendly communications with owner prior to our trip. Would recommend highly.

A wonderful week

We enjoyed a truly wonderful week at Villa Nicobar. The property itself is beautiful and very well equipped. The decor and design are of a very high standard. The views across to Fort Barrington are stunning and it would have been easy to never leave the poolside. From the second we made the booking Nigel was helpful and attentive in ensuring we had all the information we needed. At the villa itself Merle was on hand whenever we needed and made us feel incredibly welcome. We would come back to Nicobar in a heartbeat.

Breathtaking!

This villa is simply stunning. The view from the pool out over Deep Bay Beach is incredible. The rooms are lovely and the outside space is great for a large family or in our case, two families to holiday together. Merle, the housekeeper is so friendly and just wants to make sure you have a lovely time. Its very difficult to describe this as anything but perfect.
