Das Gästehaus befindet sich in der malerischen Stadt Gatesville. Unsere kleine Nachbarschaft ist sicher und ruhig mit den besten Nachbarn der Welt! Unser Gästehaus bietet bequem Platz für 4 Gäste mit zwei Schlafzimmern, jedes mit Queensize-Betten. Die Küchenzeile ist geräumig und komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirr, Glaswaren, Besteck und notwendigen Geräten. Ein großes Deck im hinteren Teil des Hauses verfügt über eine Rampe für einen leichteren Zugang.

Ihr Komfort und Genuss im Gästehaus hat für uns oberste Priorität. Wir werden nicht in Ihren Aufenthalt eingreifen, aber wir sind in der Nähe und verfügbar, wenn Sie etwas brauchen. Wir haben 24 Stunden Check-in und stehen für den Rest Ihres Aufenthalts zur Verfügung.

Stay in Gatesville

While traveling NC we stopped in Gatesville for the night and stayed at this property. It was extremely clean inside and out, the banana nut bread that was left for us was delicious and we appreciated the recommendations left for us in the guide Denise left in the home. We will be returning for sure if we pass through the area again!

Well maintained home near Merchants Millpond fc

Refined efficiency, immaculate house keeping, plus welcoming savoiry banana cake, orange juice and water began a good experience visiting this lovely cottage. It is conveniently located to Merchants Millpond State Park, which was our destination. My husband especially enjoyed the supper comfortable bed sheets. The Bennett's Creek home-away-from-home enhanced our visit to this area.

North Carolina trip

My husband and I took his Aunt and Uncle to visit their son who was in the Navy. We spent two night in this little guest house. it was the cleanest and most sufficient house. Our host went the extra mile to even leave us a home banana nut bread and some juice. I will remember this guest house.

Gatesville Getaway

Everything was perfect and as advertised, totally pleased with accommodations. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area visiting family. The only suggestion we had for the host was to add a corkscrew to the kitchen drawer, if one was there we couldn't find it. Otherwise anything you could possibly need was there. Also Doris and Rogers restaurant in Gates was really good, service and food was terrific.

A perfect little stay!

What a great little house! I've never seen a cleaner vacation home. The beds & furniture are comfy & the town is small but has a few good places to pick up some food. I especially liked that the neighbors were far enough away to give me a sense of privacy. I'll certainly be back when I need to escape again.

Cute Afternoon Retreat.

Lovely, cute little property in the tiny town of Gatesville. Perfect for us given proximety to Merchant Mills Pond and other state parks. (Great Dismal Swamp, Pettigrew State Park) Owner's are terrific and supplied a delicious Banana Bread and Juice. Only downside is a small town with no really decent places to eat, you will have to travel a little bit for a really good meal and the kitchen in the house is not set up for making a substantial meal. The house is located right beside a road with a fair amount of large truck traffic but not super loud unless you are a light sleeper. And if you are at all freaked out about cemeteries, don't stay here. But if you like adventuring there is a beautiful old town cemetery 50 feet from the front door. Disappointingly, none of the former town residents came to visit during the night! But a cool little historic house and very comfortable place to crash at the end of a long day kayaking in the local swamplands! Parking on the property is plentyful and easy. Oh, and figure out where the "China King" restaurant is. If you stay during a holiday, you will be eating a lot of take-out. : - )

Great place!

We were looking for a place to stop for the night on our way to the beach and this house couldn’t have been more perfect! It was spotless, beautifully renovated and decorated and was just big enough. The beds were comfortable and the little extras were fantastic. Everything we needed for the night and morning was included. The banana bread and juice were a wonderful addition as well! We will definitely stay again!

Quiet rural setting- stayover to break up the drive

We found this guest home and and decided to give it a try as a place to break up our drive to the OBX. The house was just as described. We were traveling with a toddler and it was important to us to keep the setting like a house and not s hotel. The banana bread the owner left was fantastic. And the best part- the house was SO CLEAN! We will look to make this our yearly stop on the way to the beach!

My husband, Jack, and I have lived in Gatesville for almost 40 years. We have raised two boys and a girl, that we could not be prouder of, in this sweet little town. We are also the proud grandparents of two of the most beautiful little girls and on mighty handsome little man! Since the day we moved here, we were treated like family. There is a real closeness in this community where the neighbors look out for each other. It is laid back and comfortable. We hope your visit here is relaxing and refreshing for you!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Our guest house was totally remodeled in 2007, right down to the rafters! We kept as much of the original 1945 building as we could, adding amenities for a comfortable stay. We had a pamphlet printed to share with our visitors to let them know the rich history of our guest house. Being originally built as a grain and feed store, it is amazing even to us to see it as it is now.

One reason my husband and I love the area is that it is very nice and quiet. We are convenient to so many malls, the beach, shopping, entertainment, then, when you are done, you come home to peace and quiet.
